This room did it's job. I'm being a little more critical because I stayed here during surge prices so I wouldn't pay the same price for this hotel again... Seemed a little older than the other stays. The bathroom was very small and the toilet was a bit old; the bidet didn't work as well as other stays. Also if you're any wider than lean or athletic maybe choose another spot with more space in the bathroom. Otherwise the bathroom was clean and the room as well. Most convenient location as well. About a 3 minute or less walk to station and Lawsons.

Before I went to Tokyo I requested early check-in because my flight would arrive at 8:00am. I did not receive any reply but that is ok. I took my time and arrived Livemax Higashi Hotel around 12:30pm on 20/09/2019 after a snack. There was no one on the front desk even I rang the bell and waited for almost 15 minutes. Then, a female receptionist came out. She looked very impatient and just said 'NO' when I said 'may I check-in'. She wrote '15:00' on paper and told me to come back at 3pm. I came back at 3:15pm to check in and she still looked unhappy. I feel very strange, she is not like any other traditional Japanese with good service, good courtesy and smile on the face. I totally did not do anything offensive to her. I met another male receptionist and two female ones the day I left on 23/09/2019, they all looked very fresh and friendly. The room looked tidy and relatively clean as most other Japanese hotels do. Location is excellent, just two minutes walk from subway.

The location is pretty far out from Tokyo station if you want to walk (about 25 minute walk) - if you have a suitcase it is not the best. If you take the train, it is not bad. We got stuck in a smoking room, which was very unfortunate. The room was a great size, much bigger then a lot of the other hotels we stayed at in Tokyo. If we were in a non-smoking room the experience would have been much better. The beds are very comfortable.

Staff couldn't speak much English and they are not able to provide any assistance in getting a cab to the airport. Even though there is breakfast option, but the breakfast cafe is not located within the hotel. The staff gave a map and had to go to a nearby location for breakfast. Ended up I decided not to have breakfast here and went to the nearby Tsukiji market for breakfast.

SMALL AND LONG BUILDING It is clean and smart hotel but they do not have lobby, internet desk etc actualy i needed PC but they do not provide any PC they provide clean room, only. SUBWAY is very near it is very convient to go Ginza and Sinjuke. and also very calm hotel

Small clean room. Close to Tsukiji, Higasgi Ginza, Ginza and Tokyo Station. I was out from morning to night so room more than ample for a place to sleep. Would stay again. Very convenient location.

I stayed here for 3 nights, location was good, near the train station. Breakfast will be served at a nearby place. I had to hang up the badge to clean the room for 3 days but did not have any room cleaning service.

A block from Tsukiji station. 5 minute walk to Tsukiji market. Quiet streets. Cannot hear neighbors. Only downside, ventilation isn’t great, my room smelled like curry sometimes.

Nice stay but choose room type carefully ”
The 4th floor smoking room smells terrible,so we changed our room to other levels, then feel everything better.The room is small, strongly recommend book larger room just for a little extra fee.

Close to market (10 mins walking dustince), close to Metro station. Small room & semi double bed can't accommodate for 2 person. All room with microwave & fringe

not a good choice”
not only the hotel's hallway is smoky, cooking smell came from downstairs restaurant is very strong in the room. We did laundry and tried to cash money in the coin machine standing next to washer/dryer. It turns out to be selling cards for movie in room. The hotel would not let us return the card. It happened to be the morning we checked out

The location is close to subway station, only 3 minute walk. The room is not big but quite clean and comfortable. Hotel staff is very helpful.

The location is perfect if you want to explore Tokyo. There is a train station right at the back of this hotel which is perfect. The rooms are small but don't get dissappointed, because thats is completely normal in Tokyo. Rooms are very clean however, and staff accomodated our late check out reques and it only costed us Aprox. 10 USD. Staff is very polite and speaks English. During the day of your check out, you can also leave your luggage with the staffs for the day and explore more of Tokyo. Overall, this hotel is perfect for our stay. Great location and rooms maybe small but very clean and when visiting Tokyo you will spend the day and night out anyways!!

Strange smell in the room”
This is the second time i stayed in this hotel and encountered two problems: 1. wi-fi didn't work in the room (the waiter in the lobby seemed to have problem with English understanding, he used a iPhone App to translate what he wanted to say which the translation was so weird and I could barely understand. Finally he managed to come to my room and reboot the router but same problem happened again the next day so I just didn't bother ... 2. I stayed in Rm x01 and every night started from dinner hour till 11pm, I could smell vividly whatever the downstairs restaurant prepared for their dinner menu... it was so strong that I could tell most of time it was curry ... they failed to change a room for me so I had to stay with the smell during the whole trip. I was told by my colleague that he experienced the same during his stay but he got lucky, they changed a room for him.
