Excellent service and most pleasant stay in Tokyo”
This is by far my most pleasant stay i had in Tokyo, all the receptionists are very warm welcoming and friendly, the room we had also excellent, cleanliness was really good, sound proof was great and they even provide us with good quality toiletries, but make sure you get it from the receptionist floor,it's free for us to get from there,along with other free beverages and soup they have there. Location wise, it's near to many happening places from shopping to food or anything. And it's very near to the limousine bus station where we took our bus from Narita airport and return at the same spot. We got our one hour early complimentary check in with their free to join membership provided, and even giving us a free gift of warm pack when we were checking out on ourgent last day staying. It's definitely a worth staying hotel and I highly recommend about it too.

If you are planning to shop around Otome Road and Sunshine City, this is your hotel! Just be aware of "normal" Japanese room sizes, which are generally small. So if you prefer a larger room/space, then book the larger room options! Staff are super helpful, and have an extra rental menu to make your stay even more memorable (You can rent out Board Games, Face Steamer, Galaxy Projector night light, etc). Beds were super comfy, and we were able to ask for more pillows from the front desk. The Dining area is located on the Ground floor, which is available to use even if you brought in some outside food. Honestly, I felt like I was staying in a themed hotel, as every entry wall had a unique mural painted on them! As an art lover, it was an added bonus. Bit of a walk from Ikebukuro Station, but you get plenty of great views along the way. There are convenience stores near the hotel, a super market, at least 3 parks, and bus stops are close by.

PROS: 3 min walk to Sunshine City (lots of shops, Pokemon Center, restaurants) and 5 min to Ikebukuro train & metro station. Awesome chicken restaurant out and to the right of the door, hotel has free drinks (OJ, tea, coffee, cola) and an eating area along with a washer/dryer on the 1st floor (lobby is actually on B1), plenty convenience stores nearby, lobby has free comb, razors, washcloths, etc. Staff is friendly, TV/fridge/AC-heater in ea. room. Heated toilet seat = awesome. CONS: Lobby is on B1, but once you get your card key you can use the back door on street level. If you're traveling with heavy luggage and have a friend, maybe let them guard the bags while you check in, then bring the bags in from the back door instead of walking down the steps. Also, only 1 washer/dryer on the 1st floor. Has detergent already set up, that's good, but set your alarm so you're not disrupting others who want to wash their items.

Really clean, nice and helpful staff! ”
My boyfriend broke his phone and we needed a letter from the hotel to claim for insurance, and the staff were really willing and helpful to help us write a letter! The hotel room was clean and really good value for money! I would definitely stay here again if I visit Tokyo in the future.

This was one of my favorite hotels in Japan! The front desk staff was very helpful and spoke more than enough English. It is a great location to check out Ikebukuro and Sunshine City. Love the owl decor motifs.

Newly renovated room”
Lobby is on the basement, cozy with very new carpet. We can take tea and other accessories to use. Our room has new carpet, very new bathroom with bathtub. Everything was smooth during our stay. The clothes provided to use in room are a bit thick and not soft.

Small Quiet and Cozy”
All you need for a hotel is available here, 10 mins walk from the station which not an issue, this area is quiet and equipped with all the facilities you need for a hotel. Stayed here for the 2nd time.. in love with it

would definitely recommend - the price was completely worth it. the bed was big and comfy and the room was very quiet. staff were so friendly and even gave us a pack of tissues upon check out! exit out of 1F (door next to the restaurant) so you don’t need to heave your luggage up those stairs

really good value for money ($55 aud for one night). the walk is a little long but as long as you come out of the central east exit and find the road with bic camera, mcdonalds and zara all in one area then you just need to keep walking straight (zara side) until the big intersection. you’ll see lawson on the other side and head towards it then make a slight left turn and pass a shop with bags in the window and a cute little sushi rice bowl place. then hotel wing will be on your left side down the set of stairs. the staff are super helpful and friendly! and the free amenities are great - plus there is a microwave and toaster oven (also free drinks such as orange juice and coffee) on the 1st floor to use. definitely would recommend as long as you’re okay with a bit of a walk.

I stayed during new year holiday, so the price is a bit more expensive than normal. The facility was good. Room size was ok (Japan standard tho, lol) But in the end it comes down to the location, I preferred Ueno to this one (it was full tho)

I had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Wing International in Ikebukuro. The staff were friendly and always willing to help the best that they can. You are rewarded for being eco friendly. The lobby has lots of samples of toiletries if you forget.

Wanted to stay in Ikebukuro at a decent price. Location was alright, it was not a long walk to Sunshine City, which I liked, but it was a little hard to find when arriving. Room was small, but that was expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful. What I liked was that they provide an 'eco card', which if you choose to not have to room made up, they offer you bottles of water. In the lobby they also had a table with teas and water. What I didn't like was the day we arrived was extremely hot, and there was a note in our room saying we could not control our AC, which was not turned on upon arrival until they fixed it for us. Our room was also not as clean as expected, found hair in the bed that didn't belong to my friend or I. Not sure if I would stay again.
