Fantastisch”
Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und helfen weiter wo es geht. Perfekt wenn du die Seele baumeln lassen willst. Wir hatten den ganzen Strand für uns alleine.

Traumhafte Bucht”
Super Sandstrand. Sonst existiert nichts mehr. Das Restaurant ist zerfallen. Am ganzen Strand gibt es nur noch ein offenes Resort, der Rest sind Ruinen. Überall Müll und Abfall. Die Jetti trotzt tapfer den Wellen. Tioman hätte wohl vor 10 Jahren eine Blütezeit. Seit es den Flughafen nicht mehr gibt zerfällt alles in Windeseile. Überall Bauleichen.

Nice and cosy”
Room was very big and cosy facing woods Reception was too local and a bit of mess. Beach in front of the hotel was not bad but other side of the pier area is much better and well managed.

Peaceful location”
Juara Ocean Chalet is a clean and comfortable budget room with a fantastic view of all of Juara Bay. It is simple but everything that a backpacking couple needs is available. They have a dive shop below, so the air compressor for the tanks is a noisy intrusion to the peace for a short time during the day.

So Nice!”
It was a very pleasant 3 days and 2 nights trip with my husband. The staffs were very friendly, the place was nice, we also enjoy our food dining at Juara Ocean Cafe, the foods was delicious. I made a surprise for my husband in this trip and the staff especially Kak May, was very kind hearted and serve me well. I would like to come again with my family soon. 🥰

Juara Ocean Chalets AND Café ”
We really enjoyed our peaceful stay in our chalet in Juara :D everything you need is there and the host is really lovely! We also had dinner one night at the Juara Ocean Café on the 'second' Juara beach and the somtam is especially good 👌🏻 they even offered to drive us back to the chalet from the, since it is a decent walk from the café. We liked to walk but it was lovely that they offered nonetheless :) would definitely stay again!

Value for money, noisy with generator sound from next door”
The chalet was literally by the beach, spacious, and has a front porch with table and chairs. The only downside is it is located right next to the diving centre, with very very very loud generator noise when they refill oxygen tanks multiple times a day, for up to an hour long each time.

The place is located on the quiet side of the island with limited accessibility to restaurants and zero night life, but is great if you just want to enjoy the beach. Room cleanliness wasn't great, but it is also understandably hard to maintain cleanliness with seawater and beach sand. Room is quite dark inside, and the staircase going up to the room is pitch dark at night.

Room was basic but for a solo traveller it was worth. Spent most of my trip chilling in the hammock. Would probably advise booking a ferry straight to Juara Jetty for convenience.

No sleep”
Metal sheet rooves are a stupid idea. You will be woken up early in the morning by monkeys running across your rooftop. Rain in the middle of the night sounds like rocks being thrown in your roof. The chalet is right next to the road so cars and motorcycles will wake you up at all times of the day

Superb seaview”
On my 1st day, i needed to complaint to the operator due to divers that uses table infront of our chalet to drink beer and smoke. Highly recommend to have dinner at juara cafe, delicious foods.

Juara has a very beautiful beach. However its far from the other towns. The transportation is costly. The owner of the chalet did not give sufficient info on our arrival on what activities he could provide. Only on the last day he revealed he deals with lots of activities. I was expecting activity booths along the beach like in pangkor and langkawi so that I can book some activities. Unfortunately there was none. Everything needs to be booked in Tekek which I was not told.

Prachtig privé gelegen met uitzicht op zee, simpele kamer”
We boekten dit resort omdat we vielen voor het uitzicht op zee. Dat heeft ons niet teleurgesteld, nooit eerder zatten we zo dicht op het strand. Het comfort was echter minimaal; de kamer is van houten planken vol kieren en gaten waardoor insecten binnen vliegen. De badkamer is klein, voelt vies aan, de douche hangt aan een soort boiler die we niet wisten te bedienen dus koud water, je staat praktisch tegen het toilet aan, alles wordt nat. Wc bril beschadigd aan oppervlakte, deur moet je optillen om hem te kunnen sluiten. Koelkast en waterkoker, in de laatste zaten ongedierte dus niet gebruikt. Eigenaar zeer aardig, je kunt hem appen. WiFi prima, er is een fan (vreselijk vies met zoveel vliegen eraan) en een airco die het op een gegeven moment niet meer deed) Tweepersoonsbed met een soort sprei als deken, verschillende gordijnen. Balkon gedeeld met buren, wasbord geboekt toen wij er waren. Hangmat met vochtvlekken en hing te laag. Hout onbetrouwbaar gevoelsmatig om overheen te lopen. Pal naast ruimschoots, drie keer per dag hoor je generator. Strand is prachtig, uitzicht en locatie prachtig, winkeltje op loopafstand, restaurant voor ontbijt lunch en diner op loopafstand. Weinig te beleven op locatie behalve dan duiken. Verderop is locatie met zwembad, het lijkt de enige aan deze kant van het eiland. We hebben op een prachtige locatie gezeten maar hadden liever meer comfort gehad. Eigenaar mag echt beter schoonmaken, beginnend bij de fan vol vliegen etc.
