I’m not an anime fan, but sleeping in a bookshelf was a novelty too cool to pass up. For the price it is an extremely comfortable and clean hostel. Also the best nights sleep I’ve had in my 3 weeks in Japan. Only downside is there’s no kitchen or laundry, but apart from that this is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Highly recommend it.

Extraordinary design and comfortable stay”
The hotel seems to be newly opened so all the furniture, facilities and manga were in new condition. Bathroom is very clean and the matress is comfy. They have a special room design: the capsule beds are kind of implemented into the book shelfs, so it was really enjoyable to sleep in my little cave haha. I would like to come again as I found a manga in English that I couldn't finish in the time of my stay.

I stayed for a night just passing through to get to the airport for a long weekend trip. The check in is quick & EASY! The accommodation was very clean, quiet & I will definitely stay again when I need a weekend just to relax & read.

Beautiful and great concept capsule hotel! Short walk to Akihabara, trains nearby. Can get a little warm in the capsules at night, but I found this with other capsules as well. No lockers for luggage is that is important to you, just small safes in the capsules. Would stay here again!

Hotel for Otaku”
I picked this place because it was cheap and they had Manga. I’d been to other hotels that had a small library, but this was the first that had a large selection and was incorporated into the room. The layout was very similar to other capsule hotels. They also had a good selection of English manga also. Lastly it’s in walking distance to Akihabara and a few other attractions.

Best place I stayed in so far!!”
I was amazed over how welcoming this hotel was! I planed to stay for just one night but after I experienced the friendly staff saw the breathtaking Manga collection and the clean rooms and facilities, I booked three nights more!! Highly recommended for anyone with or without Manga interest!

Great for cultured travelers ”
I’ve stayed here before but this time with company. Both times were good. I’ve stayed at plenty of capsules and they are my place of choice. I like this place because it has manga( in Japanese and English) to read. Also because it is in walking distance to Akihabara. All in all a good place to visit.

It’s just fine. Some mangas are in english but most of them are in japanese. My medium luggage doesn’t fit the luggage storage below the bed. Lol

Dream hotel for manga lovers”
Wonderful curation of mangas and close to Akiba (~15 mins on foot). With basic amenities (e.g. clean showering room and toilets), good for solo / small group travelers.

Good for Manga lover ”
Really want to try to stay in bookshelves hostel for long. So I book this hotel for my stay in Tokyo. Surround by Manga is a happy things, I have finish one comics of my stay, which is new Japanese comics that I think I will not find that when I back home. The hotel didn’t allow early check in or storage, this bother me a bit, but luckily I arrive that later than my plan, so I only need to wait for 15 min outside to finish my luggage checkin at 12:00. ( I was planned to go a country side of Tokyo that day in early morning. , but something happen, so I delayed, if not delayed I might need to carry my suitcase back to the station and find a storage) so beware if you plan to move somewhere else at the check in date. Beside of that I didn’t have much to complain about the hotel. Small but you got everything you need. The bed even with a small fans I thinks that is quite thoughtful.

Great spot, especially if you’re traveling alone! Though, all of the manga on the women’s floor seemed to be mostly romance centered…not sure about the men’s floor so be sure to check it out! Overall though, I loved it and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Clean and great location but”
Clean and great location But the only problem i had was the bed, im about 150cm tall but i still cant sit up straight. I bumped my head like so many times that i lost count. Nice place but i dont think i will come back there again.

La quantité et le choix de manga est assez limité ”
La cabine de toilette est trop petite comme espace, également le salon pour se détendre pour la lecture de manga n’est pas de confort ni d’espace, pas d’espaces pour les bagages non plus

만화가 컨셉인 숙소입니다 흡사 만화카페 느낌도 나서 만화 좋아하시는 분들 오면 좋을것 같아요 신기했던게 체크인을 입구앞 테블릿 영상통화로 진행 하더라고요 일본어 잘못했어 힘들어 죽는줄,,, 체크인할때 일본어 뿐만아니라 영어도 가능하니 괜찮을겁니다 무엇보다 위치가 아키하바라에도 가깝고 진보초에도 가까워서 좋았네요

가격대비 깔끔한 숙소였습니다. 직원분들도 너무 친절해서 좋았으며 아쉬운 점은 세탁기기가 없어서 외부의 코인세탁을 이용해야하는 번거로움과 응급상황 발생시 전화연결이 어렵다는 점 입니다.정말 짜증났어요 이용객분들이 참고하셔야 할 부분이 단순히 만화책은 컨셉일뿐 단순히 잠만 잘 수 있는 캡슐호텔입니다 걸어서 도쿄역이나 아키하바라까지 20분 정도 걸립니다.
