CHANKO NABE !! this is a Common dish which serve to SUMO Wrestle. a hearty meal with a very nice price. Ok, this area Ryogoku house the Sumo Museum i think ... (didnt go there... LoL) but aroud the Hotel Area there is a lot of Chanko Nabe restaurant !! there is Saizeriya FamRes, Karaoke, and many more, you wont go hungry at night trust me. Room is one of the Nice one i have been, i mean Nice Bed, thought i wish the pillow is abit Firmer... but no prob, you can always ask for an extra pillow with no extra cost. staff tried their best to interact with you using english, (one i finish conversation, i tell them i can speak japanese... LoL) Toilets are clean and i also hope there is more light in the room .... sometimes its just too dark ... there is a Drinks Vending Machine at floor which i forgot... (they vend Hot and Cold Drinks.) and Coin Laundry Room if you need your cloths washed. overall i really really enjoyed my stay, and will come again next year to stay here again.

Excellent Place”
My first trip to Tokyo was a success and i would like to thank Pearl Hotel and its staff for its excellent service. The hotel was located within a 1 min walk to Ryogoku Station and it is about 2 stops away from Akihabara! There are many amenities in the area like 24 Hr Family Mart (like your 7 Eleven) Room service was excellent, when me and my friend slept late, we received a phone call asking us if we still want room service! The beds were super comfortable. Though me & my friend shared a single room, it was spacious enough for our luggage & to sleep comfortably. My only complaint is the automatic air conditioning, we cannot control it to be warm or cold. It adjust itself based on the temperature outside the building. There is a self service washing machine and dryer. Detergent is available too. Although the hotel is located next to the Train line, the windows and walls are sound proof, so you can sleep through the morning without any worries of noise. Thank you Pearl Hotel !

About 3 minute walk to the station (JR line). There’s also Family Mart nearby (right next to the station) which sells muslim friendly onigiris. The room is compact for two people but the beds were comfortable, water pressure was good, water heater was available and staff was friendly. Check in and check out were a breeze. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay”
For one, the hotel is very strategic, near bus station and train station of both JR and Non JR (a little more walking needed). Lots of restaurants and mini markets available if you are looking for food urgently. Only 1 con : really far from big supermarkets. Staff can barely speak english but try very hard to help. Lots of foreigners come and go though. Lent us umbrella and plug adapter free of charge, but better buy your own. It doesn't cost much anyway. Definitely will stay here again when I visit Tokyo next time 😊

Great Neighborhood ”
Across from Ryogoku Station, Edo Museum and Sumo Auditorium . Many foods markets, bakery, and restaurants. Finally there is a Sumida River walk park behind the hotel. The hotel itself is a traveler's hotel with great staff and big breakfast buffet. I stayed there 5 days in last October.

Great location”
The hotel is just across JR Ryogoku Station. Breakfast offers a variety but the selection is the same all throughout our stay. The staff are courteous and cleaned our room thoroughly everyday. The key must be deposited every time you go out of the hotel. The room is quite small which is average for most hotels in Japan but we managed to open two suitcases (1 large and 1 medium) at the same time.

Value for money”
Place is just across the stadium where we watched One Championship. From Tokyo Station to the hotel and vice versa is only 13-15minutes via cab. Check in and out were a breeze. Staff were all polite and helped me unlock my luggage. Room was small but beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was ok. The only con was that there was a foul smell in the toilet.

My AC broke so they promptly put me in a room two doors down on the same floor (inadvertantly with an even better view of the Sumida River and nearby bridge)! Very helpful and friendly staff. I've been staying at the Ryogoku Pearl Hotel whenever I go to Tokyo since before they built their extension. I love them for their location, the most. I also like that they still have working CAT5 jacks, although their Wifi was flawless.

The room was clean and confortable, the access for train and subway is just two blocks away, overall is ok. I don't reccomend eating the breakfast

Fantastisch”
While not at the most central location, the hotel is just opposite JR Ryogoku station and can easily access different parts of central Tokyo. While the room is on the small side (even in Tokyo's standard), it is perfect for those who are budget-conscious and wants to stay at a quieter location.

Overall Satisfaction ”
Chose to stay in studio room type. Found dusty on mattress, maybe because of the air-con is not clean, I can see dust at the air-con air blowing area there. Please improve it. Still I will choose this hotel again in future.

Very near from Ryogoku station. Good access. The room was tiny and old but enough to stay for business trip. The hotel staffs were kind.

Good location with slow wi-fi”
The wall was so thin that I can hear others talk. And wi-fi was super slow. Even with the non smoking room, it still had a scent of cigarette.

Location is good as it is near the train station, and there are a lot of restaurants/food choices outside the place. We didn't just like the fact that the Hotel has no air-conditioning control per room. the air-conditioning was centralized, so when we went in spring, it was only giving out hot air due to the cold weather outside, but the time we went was not really cold so we had no choice but to open the windows to let in the cold air. it was also a bit suffocating as we cannot open the aircon for air circulation due to that hot/warm air
