Affordable short stay”

I expected the place to be exactly like the one in the photos. Should change the photo and put the recent one. The stay was ok. Pros: air cond in good condition; tv and hot water is available; you can buy breakfast from the many stalls nearby. Cons: My kids felt scared because of the old furnitures; cant close the cupboard. Need to upgrade the furnitures and do minor renovation to make the place cosy.There were so many salts though on the floor. Was it for termites?

It’s just okay for me,husband & my kids since it was only a night there,anyway it was a bit scary since the upper level is only made of wood and it was ruined by the termites (the rooms are on the second floor). They need to repair or upgrade the facilities then i think it will be okay.

"flimsy door security" on the house main door - only a push button on door knob fr inside. No door security chain or internal door latches for additional security. Maybe un-nerving for people who are used to staying within double/triple door locks. . The flipside of this is that it means Kangar is a relatively safe town hence no necessity for additional door locks. Notwithstanding, i slept well.

Good place to stay”

Me and my sister went to attend a wedding with our parents. It was a nice place to stay. Clean and cozy and just 5 minutes drive to town.

not so clean...and for family with old parents is not suitable because all rooms is upstairs and you need to climb a steep staircase

Minimal Maintenance”

Great hotel and location, but seems to be very run down. Maintenance is minimal. Cobwebs everywhere. But it is cheap so cant expect much.

The room is big and near to restaurants. However, we have to check out early at the morning due to no water at the toilet and need to use external pipe.

reached the hotel at 5.30pm. nobody at reception had to wait till 6.15pm. the place is double storey ie. 2 rooms upstairs. Bathroom dining hall downstairs. place big enough for 3 families but only 1 queen bed and 2 single beds provided. have mini refrigerator. old box tv. both rooms acond. should provide microwave. all basics. worth money paid.
