Top tier hostel. ”
It's not always you find a hostel with curtain beds, 2x power outlets, light, shelf, hangers and large, conveniently located locker under the bed. It's not always you find a well thought out of and clever interior with an inviting and fun common area, well equipped kitchen and satisfactory bathrooms. Everything clean. It's not always you find a hostel with a top notch, intelligent staff and a great clientele. This is where the cool kids, of all ages, go. It's not always you find a hostel that performs so well, and I say this as someone who went to a hostel or two in my day. There's nothing to really think about. For the price, it's probably one of the best places you can stay during your time in Baku. Well done!

Best Value for Money, Ever!”
Been to a lot of hostels around the world but this is probably the best value for money that I got. Excellent location, fast wifi, common room is great for meeting other travelers. There's kitchen for those who want to prepare their own food. Privacy curtains and spacious lockers in the rooms. Proper toilet and bath that is well kept. It's on the 4th floor but there's a small lift that you can take. My only criticism is with the staff. They always hang out in the balcony and so they don't notice the guests waiting in their reception. Also They don't do anything

Perfect stay for budget traveller”
I had nice stay during Baku trip, affordable price with clean and quiet room in perfect location, only 3-5mins by walk from SAHIL subway and you can also walk to tourist area in 10mins.

Nice Hotel in Baku”
I love this hotel and my stay was amazing! (+) 1. Near to the City Center and Sahil Metro Station 2. Accessible to everything like restaurants, pharmacies and grocery stores 3. Staff are accommodating 4. Stylish design 5. Balcony has a nice view of the Flame Towers (-) 1. Needs to improve the cleanliness on the bedsheets and toilet Overall, I recommend this hotel to budget travelers.

Very disappointing”
Location is fine and it has a good common area. Otherwise kitchen was super dirty pans are old and broken - I found ants all through the cupboards- not enough bathrooms to people and super dirty. Staff were rude and unhelpful- when I asked for help the lady rolled her eyes at me and told me to ‘look it up’.

Just a short walk to the sea, and to the shopping district and cafe area. They can help you book tours. Kitchen available. Bed comes with big drawer. Supermarket just a few steps away.

Highly Recommended Place to Stay”
Staff: All nice and helpful specially the three gentlemen at the reception. Facilities/ rooms are clean and well maintained. Location: close to fountain square, port bulevar mall and also walking distance to lots of tourists interesting spots in Baku.

Loud, noisy and dirty”
Most important rating a place is how I slept, but at Sahil hostel my nights were short! The reception is communal area and doubles as bar in the evening. I had two different rooms (4-bed) and both were next to reception. There is a 23.00 curfew, but no one cares. Three out of 4 nights I had to go out pointing at the wall where the curfew signs hang. They are everywhere but people were drunk and loud. One nightit was 1.30, other night I went out at 2.00 and the last night even at 5.00 to ask them what the hell they were doing!? It felt like they were chatting and laughing next to my bed so loud! The staff did nothing to keep everyone quiet. Instead they are serving beers. If you are a party hostel ok, but then take the curfew signs from the wall! They were playing darts against the wall I was sleeping on the other side. There was a balcony in front of my room where people were going for a smoke 24/7. Window could not be opened otherwise you could smell the cigarettes in my room!

Location, location, location”
Right in the heart of Baku. Short walk from the beach, old city, nizami street, famous restaurants and cafes... allllll major tourist attractions... very clean, basic and contemporary setup. Love the small balcony in our room (you have to pay for this room though).. entrance to the building is a bit scary and outdated but once you reach 4 th floor where the hotel is, you are in a different world. Very friendly helpful staff, but no free maps :( overall stay 8/10
