Loved it”
I loved the room!!! And hotel staff. Very helpful, did not charge extra for my son besides for breakfast of $12. Our air conditioner was working on and off so to compensate for that they refunded 2 days worth of breakfast for my son of $24. The loft is a must stay room. So comfy and relaxing after a long day of walking. Metro station is not too far maybe a 14 minute walk. The breakfast was decent although you put your own dishes away. Overall, the facility is clean as well as the rooms. They also have a currency exchange machine that does not charge any fees. Awesome!!! You put in your money and it automatically dispense their money (yen). Definitely a great stay for the money as most places charges a ton of extra fees like for an additional person even if the are 6 and older. That fee can range and when I did encounter that at a different hotel, they expected me to pay $67 extra for my son who is 10 years old!!!!!! Ugh... but you won’t regret this hotel, the staff members are helpful!

Last minute 1 night stay”
My cousin and I ended up arriving for our week in Japan one day earlier than expected and last minute booked this hotel room from Haneda airport. . We kinda got a little lost finding it as we were just getting used to the train system and navigating Tokyo. Maybe took us 20 mins or so to find. Not bad at all! We arrived and checking in was a breeze even with the language barrier The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming Nice view of a little part of the city. Two single beds with very clean bedding! Nice cotten bed shirts to wear. Bathroom clean and great toiletries. Cool Bluetooth speaker. Modern TV The phone in the room was like a cell phone that’s on WiFi you can take with you everywhere to navigate Tokyo. Amazing bonus!! Amazing selection of breakfast buffet with amazing view. We had to check out of that hotel in the morning and they had no problem putting our luggage in a safe spot while we did so. Would definitely recommend!

Great option in Shinjuku”
This was the first hotel we stayed at when arriving in Japan. I was immediately impressed by the new and clean appearance of the hotel, and the professional staff who spoke great English. The hotel was about a 15minute walk from the train station, with lots to look at along and eat the way. Both Golden Gai and the robot restaurant were right around the corner (definitely recommend checking out both of these during your stay). The room itself was standard size for hotels of this price range in Japan, but the amenities (coffee and water in-room, vending machines and restaurants in the hotel, bathroom/shower, free toiletries) were better than in the other hotels we stayed in. I will definitely book at other Granbell hotels after this experience and would certainly stay here again on our next visit to Japan.

Exzellent”
Stayed in one of the Economy Single rooms and I was very happy. The room was on the 9th floor and had a wide open view of the sunrise each morning. The room was a little larger than it seemed in the photos, because there's a little walkway past the bathroom and into the bed/TV area. That's a good spot to keep your luggage so it's out of the way but still able to be accessed. Bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well, which was a plus especially in the middle of July. Nice vending machines in the lobby for drinks, beer, and ice cream. The hotel is on a small street that seems secluded from all of the other Kabukicho happenings, but still close enough that you can venture out easily. It's about a 12-minute walk to Shin-Okubo Station and 15 minutes to Shinjuku station.

Fantastic hotel”
We stayed here for 9 nights and loved it! It’s right by the res light district which means that the are is a lot more busy and has a non stop nightlife. But it didn’t feel seedy at alll. Easy access to everything! We stayed in a super deluxe which was perfect for two people and bed was big and comfortable. There is no pool or spa but we had a soaking tub which was nice after spending all day sightseeing. Maid service was great, the have a rooftop bar with an incredible view of the city! I highly recommend this place for easy access to places, nightlife and overall well maintained hotel.

Bang For Your Buck”
We ordered the basic room because of the proximity to train station and the price. The basic level room is small, but cozy. You have to understand that the cheap price you're paying for isn't going to get you some big room. The bed was comfy enough, the bathroom was always clean. The fridge was a little weak, had trouble keeping things cold. The staff was really friendly - free umbrellas to borrow when we went towards the end of monsoon season. They called cabs for us when we needed. They also held our bags a couple days for us when we used a luggage service to send our bags before we got to the hotel. It's really close to a lot of places to eat. It has a couple of konbini really close by if you need a quick grab.

Fantastic Hotel”
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We were there for a week and enjoyed every minute of it, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the property is beautiful, and everything is super clean. The rooftop bar has a fantastic view and the hospitality is par none. Our trip was cut short due to the pandemic and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating as we had to leave on short notice several days early. We got a room that had the loft space and I'd certainly recommend it. It was super nice to have a spot out of the way to stick luggage and clothing. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel, conveniently located and we will returning soon.

Beautiful Hotel in and out!”
Easy check in, went in around 11am and they said the room is ready so I gotta to check in away much earlier. They have a beautiful roof top bar and restaurant that you gotta see the view of Tokyo. The location is just right in the center, so convenient. 24 hrs convenient stores like all over the place, clean room, you can ask for the umbrella when it's raining outside, they have a bicycle to rent, I was able to put my big luggage for 6 days when I was traveling to Osaka and Kyoto since I'll be back and staying with them when I'm back from Osaka. Just amazing!! Really highly recommended!.

Close in but just out of the hub”
The Granbell hotel has much going for it. The staff is friendly and very helpful with excellent English skills. The buffet breakfast had both Japanese and Western items. The room was very clean but keep in mind rooms are very small as in most Japanese hotels and housekeeping was prompt. The location is just a few blocks away from the hustle and bustle so the light and noise is at a minimum. The value for the money in that location was excellent and we would definitely stay there again.

Great location”
The hotel is located in a convenient area, near Higashi-Shinjuku Metro stop. There’s plenty of options for groceries, bars, and restaurants nearby. It’s clean and well-organised, and the staff members were friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms are tiny (which we learned later that is a normal thing in Tokyo). We could barely fit our carry-on luggage in our room with space to walk. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel to anybody.

Such an amazing place to stay, staff are friendly, very clean, roof top is amazing, location is right in the center. Can't get any better place to stay while you're visiting Tokyo. Close to the golden gai district and also some of the tourists attractions. Just amazing. Will come back and stay at this hotel when we're back in Tokyo. Definitely!!

CLEAN AND CONVENIENT”
Even though the location is within the red light district area, the hotel location is convenient! Hotel is clean and nice and fret not, the staff speaks English well. Metro is just a few mins walk with cool vending machines on the first floor in case of late night hunger pangs strike. We had a pleasant stay in Hotel Granbell, thank you for the hospitality.

The hotel is located near a bustling area full of restaurants and other hotels. There are several nearby convenience stores (7/11, Family Mart, Mini Stop) and some restaurants are open till late at night. It's a ten minute walk to Shinjuku station, a transport hub that can get you all around Tokyo. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and varied enough to cater to different tastes.

Great location, stunning roof top bar ”
If you are looking for a a beautifully appointed hotel in the centre of everything at Shinjukju, then the Granbell takes a lot of beating. On site coffee shop, excellent breakfast, stunning view from the higher floors and a roof top bar for end of day cocktails. Perfect.

Great value”
We stayed in economy double and it was pretty big room by Tokyo standards. The room was clean, the staff was very nice and we loved the rooftop. JR station was 10-15 minutes away but we didn’t mind. For it’s price I don’t think you can get anything better than this hotel in the area.

I loved everything about this hotel. Our room was great, very clean. The staff is friendly, accomodating & can speak English if you need them to. If you are into KPop then the hotel is right next to Shin-Okubo or Korea Town. Definitely recommend and would stay here again during my next trip to Japan!!

Value For Money”
The Hotel is near subway station and walking distance from JR lines. Moving around the area is very convenient. It is also near popular ramen houses. The room is very clean and the view is excellent. Very good, friendly and courteous staff. Shinjuku Night Life is within the area.

Stayed in this hotel with my mother and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. We just got the standard loft room 12th floor and it was already elegant, I am sure that the premium rooms are very good. Will surely stay at this hotel again when I go to tokyo. And i would recommend this to my friends. Also, check in and check out process is very fast around 1-2mins only. And very friendly and accommodating staff/ front office staff.

Excellent hotel”
Tiny room but we had a great view on the 16th floor. Very clean with toiletries all included and replenished daily. Location is where all the action is. Not close to Shinjuku station (JR train station ) though if you have the pass. Front desk staff helpful
