Nette Unterkunft”
Man darf nicht zu viel erwarten. Das Zimmer war nett mit sauberen Betten und einen ganz kleinen Waschbecken eingerichtet. Kein Platz für Koffer oder Ähnliches. Zwei Bäder für den ganzen ersten Stock mit jeweils einer Dusche und einem WC. Ab 22:00 Uhr war Ruhe gewünscht. Die Küche unten war für alle nutzbar. Tee konnte man frei bekommen. Alle Leute waren irgendwie sehr nett und bemüht. Es geht geht, aber es ist halt ein Gästehaus, was einem klar sein muss.

Entspannter Aufenthalt”
Wir waren zwei Tage dort. Die Lage ist unglaublich schon und die Zimmer sauber und nett eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Gegenüber ist ein tolles Restaurant mit gutem Fisch und Lamm. Negativ ist nichts!!!! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Guesthouse gleicht eher einer Jugendherberge. Da es ausgebucht war, gab es lange Wartezeiten im Gemeinschaftsbad sowie in der Küche. Während der Pandemiezeit. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Wie überall nur mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Saft, Kaffee, Tee, Skyr und Kuchen in der Unterkunft zur Verfügung. Sehr nett. Restaurant direkt vor der Haustür.

Sehr zu empfehlen! ”
Wir waren zu dritt mit 8 jährigem vor Ort und waren super zufrieden. Die Unterkunft ist herbergstypisch, praktisch eingerichtet ohne Schnickschnack, aber alles sehr organisiert und sauber, Top sanitäre Einrichtungen im Flur, eigenes,kleines Waschbecken im Zimmer. Der Aufenthaltsraum ist ebenfalls schön gemacht mit praktischer, kleiner Küche wo man sich zB Fertigmahlzeiten zubereiten kann. Es gibt eine Mikrowelle, Toaster, Wasserkocher und sogar Kaffeeautomat mit kostenlosem Kaffee. Außerdem gibt es kostenlos Skyr, H-Milch, Säfte und gelegentlich auch selbst gebackenes vom Hausherrn :-) Von hier startet auch eine tolle Ausflugstour direkt gegenüber mit Hausrabatt. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und kommunikativ, schöne Athmosphäre im Haus.

Great for value”
The beds were very comfortable and the room was very warm! The shower was working great and enough hot water. The room had a little sink. It was so helpful to have in the room. I have nothing to complain. The kitchen was excellent. Two group can cook at the same time. All the instructions were clearly marked. Their welcome cake was special touch. It was delicious and very healthy made. ( using coconut powder etc) The stuff were so friendly and helpful.

Super recommend!”
We chose this place because we had a tour on the next day morning with Glacier Adventure, which is right across the street. For check in and questions, you just need to ring a bell. The hosts came quickly and they were so nice. Our bedroom was comfortable and had a sink which was great since the bathrooms were shared. Kitchen was helpful to prepare meals, and they had everything we needed. Also it's great to have some drinks and skyr for free!

So wonderful ”
The hosts cannot be more accommodating. I messed up my dates and showed up a day early. The host was so very kind and found space for me even though she was full. She would have taken me into her own home if the need be. The room and building was warm and very clean. She makes fresh cake for her guests. The location is superb. I cannot recommend this hotel any higher. You will not be disappointed.

Fabulous hostel, absolutely pristine! ”
Excellent value for money, everywhere was clean, beautiful kitchen and rooms. Showers were hot! Towels provided, the man who owns it is lovely and sweet and seemed more than happy to help us if needed. Will definetly reccomend to everyone who is travelling around iceland

Near to the Gracier Lagoon which is perfect location for us. Very friendly staff and the kitchen is nice with free coffee, tea, and yogurt drink! The room is very comfortable and the share bathroom is very clean. We enjoy our stay at here.

Great location & Friendly Staff”
This place is a great location for those who don’t want to go as far as Hofn. It was a 1 min walk from our ice caving tour office. The staff were also super friendly and the place was very cosy and comfortable.

Cosy place to stay in! ”
The place was very nice and cosy, it was clean and tidy and there were sprays to disinfect the showers. The owner was helpful and you can have free sky and juice which was really sweet!

We were hesitant with the shared bathroom situation, but it’s super clean and everything was amazing! I highly recommend you stay here. Beach view! It’s 11 minutes from Diamond Beach and Glacier tours.

Worth the money”
Lady landlord was very friendly, and they did provide free flow juice and coffee. Toilet and Room was clean, and location perfect too. Although need to share toilet but it is not an issue for us.

Wonderful guesthouse. We felt immediately home and very welcome. No question is too much for them..... Very cozy kitchen for cooking and meeting people. Got freshly baked wedding cake from Julia. Best guesthouse we had in Iceland!

Wonderful staff!”
The people that own the complex are incredibly friendly and frequently around if you ever need anything, including a fun chat about living in Iceland. The place is perfect for what it is. The fully functional kitchen was excellent.
