Wonderful family business ”
Sri Sentosa Chalet is a nice and intimate place in a quiet village on Tioman. The Host family is very friendly and I felt welcome from the first moment I met them. The food is also good and you can enjoy your meal with a nice view on the ocean. There are nice beaches in walkable distance and I would always stay there again :)

So actually I can tell so many good points but first I will start with the bad point - the only one bad point on this vacation was the internet. You don’t have WiFi at this place BUT you can buy for 11 Ringgit a Sim Card which includes 2 GB Data. That’s really ok. Now the good points: This place / actually the whole island is like a big family. Everybody is smiling the whole day.. everybody wants to help and is always friendly. The most important thing to know about this island is, the south part of tioman is full of adventure landscape and so on. You can go hiking by the twin mountains (2 hours up) u can go to waterfall (20 mins way) you can go snorkeling in front of this stay. You can visit the next beach (5 min walk) and you are 99% alone there white sand blue water - amazing.

Friendly and kind owners. we stayed there 2 nights and enjoyed the basic malaysian food. Of course isn't a 3 star hotel, but if you want to come down a bit and enjoy fresh fruits, corals and nature, then is it the right place for you. i loved it!

Perfekte Unterkunft zum entspannen ! ”
Ankommen werdet ihr an einem Pier, wo dann euch ein Seataxi zur Unterkunft bringen wird - kosten dafür sind 50 rm pro Nase. Denkt dabei das es keinen atm auf dieser Insel gibt - also Geld mitnehmen - falls dann doch das Geld mal aus geht dann wird euch der Host super behilflich sein - so wie bei uns !:) es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt wir werden wieder kommen!

Nach einer Nacht wieder abgereist ”
Sind mit der Fähre Abends in Genting angekommen und eine Überfahrt nach Mukut war nicht mehr möglich, somit mussten wir vorort eine Nacht in eine anderen Zimmer buchen. Unter 3 verschiedenen Telefonnummern, war zwei Tage im vorraus keiner vom Hostel zu erreichen. Somit sind unnötige Mehrkosten entstanden. Unterkunft war aber Sauber und essen sehr preiswert. Manager wenig freundlich und kompromissbereit. Wasserfälle und Jungle waren super schön, der Strand hingegen bestand leider nur aus Steinen. Alles in einem, nicht zu empfehlen

Sehr simpel aber super gastfreundlich”
Das Resort ist ein kleines Familenunternehmen und sehr simpel gehalten. Aber dennoch sind die wichtigsten Sachen vorhanden. Das Personal ist top. Jeder Wunsch wird nach Möglichkeit erfüllt. Zum Resort gehört auch noch ein Restaurant, wo man immer frisches Essen bekommt. Wenn man besonderes Spezialitäten haben möchte, wie zum Beispiel Fisch oder Meeresfrüchte sollte man diese in voraus bestellen. Womit man außerdem rechnen sollte wenn man auf einer kleinen Insel Urlaub macht sind ab und zu Besuche von Geckos oder Ameisen im Badezimmer. Dafür ist der Vorteil einer Insel dass es jede Menge Früchte gibt besonders Mangos.

It was a really easy place. So, nothing for people who like it fancy or luxury. But the staff make it an awesome and unforgettable time for us. They are really helpful, lovely and sometimes even really funny. Thank you so much for the time!

Idealic Kampung Charm”
Our 5d4n at Sri Sentosa was a perfect gateaway in the quiet, laid back and charming village at Kpg Mukut. With the iconic Dragon horns and Asah Waterfalls nearby, our little beachside cottage is like out of a postcard. The room was clean, simple, airconditioned with hot water. We were hardly in the room, but waking up to the waves infront of our balcony daily was a dream. We enjoyed getting alot of vitamin-sea and cooling down at the nearby waterfall stream when it got too hot. We travelled with our 7yo son, food was easy and we made off menu requests which was much obliged by Aunty Aisyah and Lady Chef. Many thanks to Uncle Zam, Zaf and Nizam for an awesome bbq spread. If you want to escape for a peaceful holiday, please come here!

Excellent Experience Staying in Sentosa Chalet”
The Chalet we stayed was clean, very well maintained, adequately furnished and perfectly located for having panoramic view of the beach on one side and twin peak view on the other side. It's so nice to watch the beach sitting on the relax chair from the balcony. Just beside the chalet a fresh water stream from the mountain flows and joins the sea. This adds more beauty to the view from the balcony. Both the key attractions (Twin Peaks trekking and Water Fall) are very close the chalet. Food served at Chalet restaurant is very economical compared to any other location of Tioman island. Even though we stayed during off-season, we truly enjoyed the stay and beauty of the nature. Regarding sea activities, chalet has Canoe, Kayak, surfboard and snorkeling kits. They also have well maintained fishing boat for fishing trips. All are well maintained. Best part of our trip was the hospitality of the chalet owners and staffs. They were so kind and caring. They provided good suggestions for leisure touring around the place. They have good connections to arrange for sea taxi, tourist guide for trekking and also for trip to other tourist locations of the island at optimal cost. The place is so peaceful and serene that I am planning to visit this place again in near future.

Amazing stay, didn‘t want to leave”
Auntie Aisyah made our stay unforgettable. She will treat you with her kindness and warm heart like no other host on your journey! She even offered to help us when we ran out of cash. The chalet is situated in the small and quiet village Mukut (check the ferry schedule to avoid high sea taxi costs or send the chalet a message to arrange a cheaper taxi!!). The rooms are pretty simple and may lack some of the western comfort, but the location is amazing! You‘ll have breakfast right on the beach, can go snorkeling in front of it, do a hike to the waterfall or to the two mountain pikes. Right behind the village are two private beaches with no other human soul and you‘ll see monkeys and other animals roaming through the forest. All in all, the Sri Sentosa Chalet and the village make the perfect spot to unwind for a few days and just relax! We stayed 3 nights longer and would have prolonged even more if we’d have had the time

Lovely stay at Sri Sentosa!”
We booked to stay here for a week initially and ended up staying for 10 days! The most peaceful beautiful resort & hotel. If you’re wanting a resort that is quiet but still plenty to see and do this is for you, there is the waterfall, dragon horns, snorkelling, kayaking, diving. Our stay was made even better by the hosts, thank you so much for making us feel so welcome! You were helpful, kind, and you have a beautiful family who were all amazing! Thank you, hope to Return soon!

Awesome family getaway is in Sri Sentosa, Mukut”
This resort is owned by a wonderful family members. Always looking out for each other at the whole time I’ve spent here with my family. They are accommodative to our requests and cared for our safety at all times while we were there. There’s a secret which Kak Aishah discloses. Bathe by splashing mountain water supplied in every room inside their bathroom. Cool refreshing and rejuvenating experience. Zamrus, the boss, Zafri his son were caring and always looking out for each other most all times. They speak fluent English. The Chef is an awesome cook. Specialising in authentic Malay cuisine!! Fragrant fish curry, freshly caught steamed fish, live tumeric chicken and pisang pengat as dessert served with freshly grown Tioman’s super juicy young coconut juice. I bought fresh catch, a huge fish right at their beachfront!!! What an wonderful experience. My whole family enjoyed every moment in Sri Sentosa. Most extraordinary experience in Sri Sentosa? Yes, we met the black giant squirrel!

Best friendly chalet for vacation”
Highly recommended quiet idyllic village in the island of Tioman. A great place to relax and to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Very safe for young children and good amenities at a very affordable price. Don't forget to ask them to prepare local dinner or seafood barbeque for your enjoyment.

Great great place to stay at Tioman”
Have a blast holiday staying at this chalet. The owner En. Zam and Pn. Aisyah treat us like we are close family while staying there . The foods are fantastic especially the seafood bbq (we ordered the lobster package). Mukut is a quiet place. Can walk 10-15 minutes from the chalet to a few private beach. We also took a walk yo Asah waterfall which is about 45 minutes from the chalet. Mukut is a fisherman village so the food there is cheaper compare to other places at Tioman Island. A small village which only takes 15 minute to cover the whole Mukut. We have a blast staying there. Thanks En. Zam and Pn. Aisyah for giving us a good time while staying there.

My family and I were very happy with this place. Never had they had the freedom to roam in a village and enjoy life as is. The hosts were wonderful people and you can't go wrong staying in their chalet. They will cater to your needs and ensure you are comfortable. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful chalet.

Sri Sentosa Chalet Hotel - Tiomon Island”
This hotel was really peaceful and great of location. Helpful staff. The Hotel chief family was great helpful to us in guiding. Food was wonderful. The rooms were clean and neat. But not all ferries pass to this jetty.

perfect place for a timeout ”
We planned to stay 3 nights but prolonged it to 6 nights! After some exhausting time we enjoyed the calm and beautiful village too much to leave after 3 nights. Check the plan of the bluewater ferry in advance to plan your stay, because it is not going to Mukut every day and the transfer from Genting can be quite expensive.

Kampung experience & friendly environment ”
that’s lots of activities that you may do during your stay such as asah waterfall, snorkelling, kayaking, hiking to dragon horn, walking path to nearby resort was a good exercise and you may join kampung folks for football and others sport. hanging around with the kampung neighbourhood was a good experience as well. they are all very friendly. the resort the we stay may cook the breakfast, lunch and dinner as per your requests. you may get food from the local stalls where the serve the local with reasonable price. you must try their nasi lemak, roti canai & local kuih for your breakfast. may get supper from sea side chalet where they open until 10 plus. good experience and will go back again for long holidays.
