Very nice hotel as they provide free breakfast consist of Rice with a few dishes of fish, chicken and vege. They also have soup, porridge, a few kind of cereal, breads and many beverages incl coffee and tea! Love the toiletries box which we can choose 5 (ladies)/ 3 (men) items everyday! They also provide pyjamas! And a varieties of pillow for us to choose. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Must try the Unagi restaurant which is just a few steps away.

Super Hotel indeed Love the freebies for ladies (5 items/night) Password door are very convenient Not so spacious I hope they can extend their breakfast till 10am instead of 9am because there were times we got super tired the whole day and woke up a little past 9am and the restaurant was already closed

Impressive little hotel”

We were quite impressed how this little hotel is such a great place to stay at while in Tokyo! The staff is polite, friendly and helpful! The rooms are very clean and immaculate everyday! The buffet breakfast is quite impressive too , with quite a few selections to choose from,. I don’t think anyone can fault their service at all . Excellent customer service overall! Facilities are great and the freebies are just a great bonus! A place to consider when booking a hotel. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you Super Hotel for making our stay such a comfortable and great !

Good for short stay, nice staff, easy to connect to public transportation”

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. Room and bathroom are quite ok for short stay. Nice staff and easy to connect to public transportation, just 3 minutes walk to Ikebukuro subway Exit C1

Clean room with healthy breakfast ”

Firstly, the lady who checked us in was very sweet and helpful. The other staff we had encountered during our stay were quite helpful as well but perhaps not as friendly I would say. As it was our second time staying in their chain hotel, we knew that there is no room key and all you need to do is to memorise a password that is given to you at check in. It saves the hassle of bringing your keys every where with you. The hotel offers free breakfast to every guest and they try to vary some of the dishes day to day. So you have rice, soup, veg, meat, bread and drinks between 7-9.30am. Room is very clean although it is a little small and the toilet is compact as well. Nonetheless, what you need is there. If you were to return the dirty towels Everyday and not ask for cleaning, they will replace the towels for you and give you 2 bottled water in return. Location wise it is located at the extreme west exit of Ikebukuro JR station which means you would have to walk 5-7 mins

Excellent value, particularly for female travelers!”

I stayed here with a friend over the course of 9 nights and it was fantastic! (2 rooms; we weren't sharing.) I liked the free breakfast on the days I didn't have to rush out early and the amenities for female travelers nightly were surprisingly legit as well. I also liked how the beds were true double beds as opposed to the rubbish semi-double beds you usually get with hotels on a budget, so even if you do share the room it's still okay. Only the bathroom is a tad small so if you're taller or larger than the average Asian female, it might be a bit inconvenient. For proximity to the train station it's also okay, but it is located on the flip side of Ikebukuro away from all the fun stuff around Otome Road and Sunshine, etc. In general though, an A+ for Super Hotel!

The location is near by metro station for west exit. A little bit distance with JR which takes around 10mins. It's quit good service as you can choose your pillows as you like. And, it's quite good for womens as you can pick a small gift such as mask. Only one things is not good enough which is the canteen is too small. It is quite crowed aound 8:30 to 9:00.

great and value for money”

I stayed here for 3 nights and the overall experience was great. location is good, just behind JR station C6 exit. ( is challenging to find the correct exit when you are in station) breakfast is yummy. They serve rice and Japanese dishes in the morning, for those who likes Miso soup, Japanese rice etc... you will enjoy it. No check out procedure - you can check out anytime you want .

Super Room with Loft, nonsmoke, breakfast”

Ard 10 mins walk from Ikebukuro station, take exit C6 for escalator, freebies for ladies, staff is very professional n provide good service, good breakfast with decent spread. Room is small, Bathroom is small, typical of Japan accomodation. Can choose different pillows. We will want to stay here again, but probably take a bigger room.

Small but cozy stay”

Strategic location and friendly staff. We can choose our own pillow based on different hardness. Female guest can choose 5 amenities every day such as lotion, aroma shampoo, hair clip, masks, etc. The room is quite small but i think it is normal in Tokyo. Only one lift for the whole building. This caused some inconvenience.

Clean, Efficient, Very Japanese”

This Super Hotel is very super -- nice location (although a bit of a walk from the JR line, but close by to the Metro Tokyo Subway). Facilities and amenities are very nice. Room is a bit small, but expected for Japan. The bed was too hard though, a futon would probably have been more comfortable. Love the gifts they give to the women.

Pretty good location, nice staff and clean room”

Staff is very helpful and polite. Did not notice much stuffs, but basic facilities I believe are available. As for the items provided, I think a shower cap should be provided too haha =) Location is closest to C1 at Ikebukuro station, but that is all stairs. I found another one, Exit C6, which can lead to the hotel too. =) Once you take the escalator out, turn left and walk straight, you will see a Saizeriya and Doutor cafe, cannot really remember where exactly, but when you just keep looking to your right, you will see the huge Super Hotel sign. Otherwise, you can just continue walking until you see an Indian restaurant, and the other entrance can be accessed from there too. This path in my opinion is a little bit too dark though lol. Would be good if more lights can be installed on this path? =) Room was clean and comfy for me although toilet is a little bit squeezy. I will definitely return again if I am back for solo trips or trips with my friends (if there are rooms for 2-3 persons available when I am there hahaha). There is complimentary breakfast with quite a variety of healthy selections available daily too! =) Thank you for the hospitality! I really enjoyed my stay at Super Hotel. =)

A good eco hotel”

We were staying for 3 nights at this hotel.Like the other reviews says this hotel is really near Ikebukuro station. It was convenient because we didn't have to walk a long way with those big luggage with us. Breakfast was served with almost same menu everyday. The room and other things were well organized and everything was clean. My family and I were satisfied.

the complimentary little gift which we can took from lobby everyday, is so sweet! especial the herbal relaxing sheet, really a great stuff to put on legs and shoulders for release the tired after crazy shopping! the breakfast is delectable! there are umbrellas for travelers. we just grab and go, no need to register. very convenient! we slept tight with cozy room temperature. it's easy to access from the rail way.

They really look after girls here, free products every day. Everyone can choose a pillow, they have them lined up in the lobby with a short discription about how soft, height etc. Breakfasts were fresh every morning & varied, a good choice of western mixed with Japanese food. Great location, right near Jr station & in amongst bars & restaurants. Highly recommended, one of the better places we've stayed while travelling Japan.
