Perfect location and 5 Star Feel”
This is one of the best hotels I have been to in Japan and definitely worth the price! I might be basing this review off the fact that the price is currently discounted due to the Corona Virus but regardless, the customer service was excellent and the entire feel of the room from the beds to the blankets! The towels were the best and I just feel like the value was really high. Not to mention that it's next to Ueno station and there are just lots of places to eat and within walking distance. It was a central location for everything I needed to get done on my trip. The buffet breakfast was great too, I definitely will come back! I might actually extend for another month. Keep up the great work guys!

comfort at the right price”
the receptionists are very friendly and hospitable. they tell us all the information we need in having a great stay. they even lend us umbrellas. the place is near Ueno station and very easy to locate. plus points on the additional pillows and pajamas you can get on the lobby. the breakfast food is good too.

If you value a delicious healthy breakfast,cleanliness, nearness of subways & airport train, yamanote trains, abundance of restaurants catering to all walks of life, reasonable shopping for pasalubong, museums & a green wide park with temples and cherry blossom trees, then book at Super hotel JR Ueno Iriyaguchi. Value for money, not far from Ueno station”
I spend 2-3 times at Super Hotel JR Ueno-Iriyaguchi when I visited Tokyo, and the hotel will be in my list. The hotel location is closed to JR Ueno at Iriyaguchi exit for 7 - 10 minutes walk. Even though the room is small but its Japan standard. Hotel staff are very service mind and hospitality. I would strongly recommend the hotel for solo, couple traveler or business man. But if you have children, the hotel may not suit for.

Great Hotel”
Close to Ueno Metro station (within 10 min) and Keisei Ueno Station (within 15 min). Very close to JR Ueno Station (within 5 min). I chose the super room with a bunked bed, size of room is small especially the bathroom but all facilities are well designed that i can still find space to put two 26" luggage in the room without blocking the passage. Room is very clean. The window can be opened a bit and the aircon is cold enough (traveled in May). Breakfast is okay, the soup is delicious. Staff are very friendly, helpful and able to speak simple English.

It’s abit exhausted while we can’t drop our luggage first due front desk counter only open from 7am - 10am and 3pm - 12am. Please do inform all the customer who early arrive at hotel and wish to drop luggage first prior check in time 3pm. So customer able to walk around without huge troublesome luggages.

My favorite hotel in Ueno”
Close to one of the Ueno station exit. Family mart are nearby. Room is small but enough for 2 people. The bed and pillow is so comfortable ~

Worth it as it has a breakfast buffet and walk away from ueno station”
Pros: small bathroom(very normal in Japan) but very clean, has toto toilet seat, heated shower, liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner and towels available. Toothbrush set provided each night but if you return an unused pack, you’ll get a cookie(or small trinket) -environmentalist as they have an option : if you don’t ask them to clean-up your room, they’ll give you a drinking water bottle. New towels however will be left at your roomdoorstep. - mini gift pack for ladies (face mask,etc) - comfy beddings, one can choose a pillow in their lobby depending on one’s need. - wide range of breakfast food in their buffet. 4–6 different types of soup,drinks, coffee, water. Love their croissants and danish pastries and scrambled egg! -approachable receptionist and kitchen staff Cons: -nearest convenience store and fastfood chain is about 4-5minute walk(near ueno station already) -small dining area. May get full on peak times(740-820am) -few tv channels -cannot go inside the hotel between 10am-3pm as they’re cleaning it. But didn’t hassle us sincw we’re out the whole day all the time.

Comforable hotel with accessiblity”
The hotel room is very comfortable and clean. The buffet breakfast served by the hotel are good. The price of staying there is very reasonable. The location is not far from the JR station and you can also take the train to the Narita Airport direct. It is a recommneded hotel, please.

Friendly staff! Will visit again”
This was our first time to visit Japan and we really liked this particular hotel. The staff was always there to help you if you needed. The breakfast buffet was very good. Although it's a bit far from Ueno Station, you can still use the Iriya exit of the JR ueno line to get to it. I hope they give out free water on the first day of your stay. Overall excellent experience and highly recommended!

Operation time”
This is need to be noted that the hotel will close at 10 am and re open at 3 pm everyday. Then if you wish to go in and out during that time, you cannot. It was quite inconvenience.

Small and cosy hotel. Value for money”
Very polite staff at Front Desk and restaurant. Simple buffet breakfast gives room a very good value. I enjoy eating each morning. With this type of room and price, other hotels don't include breakfast. Front Desk can make photocopies of our documents for a very small fee.

The cultivation of JAS vegetables meets the standards set by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and are therefore not just delicious, but healthy as well! Which food did you like best? By the way, did you use the toothbrushes in your room?
