Great Place To Stay”

I had a great stay here, nice room, big bed which was cleaned every day, fresh towels also each day. Great location with lots of restaurants in the area and a big supermarket right opposite the hotel plus only 5 minutes walk from Otsuka station on the Yanamote line. Would've been nice if there was an English channel on the tv if only to watch the news in the morning but the wifi was good anyway.

Location very near Otsuka Station, only a few minutes walk. Nearby have convenience stores. Staff very kind and helpful. Room and bathroom is clean and room size is standard, enough for 2 person and 2 baggage. Overall it is an comfortable hotel to stay-in.

Super GOOD hotel, New and Clean especially the bed and the bath room. Size is small but it provide wonderful place for a good sleep, shopping downstair is good. A very big local supermarket is just within 1 min walk (opposite). Highly recommended.

Near the otsuka station (yamanote line). Has a 7-11 opposite. Room is abit smaller compared to my stay in toyoko inn in osaka. Tv was dissapointing, no english or sports channel. Other than that, all other facilities were superb.

Great budget Hotel with Superb Location”

I love this hotel. Simple, Clean and convenient as it is located close to many convenience shops. There is a supermarket right opposite of this hotels. Therefore, it is really easy to get foods even in the midnight. However, the room is really small and there is not much space to move around. Both me and my husband have to spent more of our time sitting on the bed as the floor space is mostly occupied by our luggages. The room is clean and comfy. Staff is also very friendly. She tried hard to assist us as she hardly understand english. Breakfast spread is quite limited as most of the time they served japanese style breakfast. I will stay in the hotel again for my future japan trip as the price is really worthy.

Fantastic! Compact room but very cozy with all the items u need has everything in the room. The room doesn't need the key or card, password is required to unlock the room which is very convenient. The staffs are all very friendly and can understand simple English. The location is near Otsuka Station of JR Yamanote Line and many restaurants n convenient stores nearby.

Just all around great”

Super Hotel Otsuka is in a quiet neighborhood, located one stop from Ikebukuro, which is perfect to escape to after being in some more of the more crowded areas like Shinjuku and Shibuya. The hotel is about a 2-minute walk from the station and is very easy to find. The area around the hotel was great, with many different restaurant options to choose from. There was a pharmacy next door, a supermarket across the street, and many conveniences stores. The room was functional if a little small, but if you're spending more time in the room than Tokyo itself, you're doing it wrong! Overall, I'd stay here again without a doubt. 10/10

Stayed for 3 nights with my cousin and we loved it. Great location about 5mins walk to Otsuka station, friendly and very helpful staff who speak English, housekeeping everyday, free good breakfast in the mornings. Laundry facilities on site for a very cheap price and you can borrow an ironing board and iron for 3 days! Will definitely stay here again next time.

It's about 8-10 mins walk from JR Otsuka station. Staff r very nice n friendly. And they are very informative. They will try their best to give u information u needed. Room size is typical Tokyo hotel size. Supermarket is just across the road. 2 mins walk to pharmacy ..

Its a super clean hotel..they change beddings everyday...the staff were so helpful..this hotels provides you with all the things you needed..the buffet breakfast was superb..and by the way just in front of the hotel is a supermarket...and just a 5 minutes walk from the JR station..would highly recommend this to travellers..

Great location, good services”

The hotel is very close to Yamanote circle line - Otsuka station. Just a few mins walk. Not far from Ikebukuro area. a room is clean. The breakfast is good. Reception is very polite but could not speak much English.

Great location, breakfast, friendly staffs”

It was a pleasant stay at this hotel, the staffs were all friendly, you get a small delicious breakfast, 5 mins walk (or less) to JR train station (if you are JR pass holder, it will be an advantage for you), many food around open till late, the amenities was also superb, cleanliness as well. The only that need to be considered for this hotel are that the bathroom is too small (for me, 192cm height), especially the ceiling that i think only 2metre height. And the other major thing that I really regret was that if you need to have your room cleaned, you couldn't stay at your room from 10.00-15.00. (Super Hotel you need to do something about this) The other thing was superb, I recommended to stay at this hotel

Great value for the price”

It's a very basic place, but it's clean, comfortable, in a great location (minutes from the JR line and surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores), and even comes with free breakfast! The rooms are small (and the bathrooms smaller), but for the price it's a great value. Would definitely stay here again.

the hotel is easy to find, just 5 mis walk from JR station, that area is very quiet at night but you need anything to eat, just 2 mins walk you can find the 24hrs shop or restaurant. and there also have two japanese supermarket, that is really nice. the room is small but is really clean the bed also comfortable and the hotel looks very new. They also provide free breakfast and their bread is very very nice, I ate 3pcs every morning. they also have one coffee machine to provide drinks from afternoon to midnight. for the check-out is super fast, just tell them you can go immediately and this point I'm also like so much.

Excellent choice”

Stayed here for 6 nights with my sister. Staffs were courteous, breakfast was great (especially the pastries), and the room was clean and comfortable. The size is pretty small, which I think is common in Japan. Great thing they have coin laundry in the hotel. Location is perfect, close to konbinis, station, and very central in yamanote line. Only a station away from ikebukuro, but the neighborhood is much more relaxed and of course very safe. Will definitely stay here again.

Good alternative hotel near a train station”

located just a station away from Ikebukuro, very convenient for tourists as Ikebukuro serves the NEX and airport buses both to Narita and Haneda. Better for people who like to shop because Otsuka is on the other half of the yamanote with Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku and Ikebukuro.

Great location and value”

Hotel location is really comfortable; situated in a calm area yet only one station from the major one where you can switch to other lines, there are at least three convenience stores around, the big one situated right across the hotel with its second floor function as a 100 yen shop. Room and bathroom is indeed small compared with our other hotels we stayed in Tokyo, but with the price I think it is very reasonable moreover I think almost everything in Tokyo are designed to be compact. To reach: Super Hotel is located in Otsuka Station (JR Yamanote Line). Otsuka St. is a small and calm station, located between Ikebukuro Station (one of the major stations) and Sugamo Station. Take the north exit in Otsuka St., cross the street (there is 7 Eleven in your left) and just go straight, walk for 5 minutes and you will see a yellow board with katakana character written "Su-pa- hoteru". Staffs: The two ladies in the front desk are friendly and helpful. They saved our MiFi that arrived before our check in time and kept our suitcases for several hours before our check in time and after our check out time. The lady that works in the dining area is so polite, friendly and helpful. She greeted everyone with smile and checked every time to make sure every dishes were available. Breakfast: is decent and delicious. We were told ahead that at 8 a.m. the dining area will be full but as we were exploring Tokyo since early morning we always took breakfast at 7 a.m. and it was quiet and many seats were empty. Menu consisted of bread -soft, delicious, with several fillings such as red bean paste, and of course there are butter and jams-, I saw rice inside a rice cooker, four kind of soups, salads, main dishes. For drink there are hot/ cold water, ice cube, coffee, juices, tea, barley tea etc. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we come back to Tokyo.

convenient location with reasonable price”

I will choose super hotel again as it situates at a very convenient location with 3mins walking distance to JR yamanote line and the bed is spacious compare to other hotel in Japan, morning breadfast is included and price is reasonable
