Wir haben die Woche im Barat sehr genossen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, der Pool ebenso. An Strand und Pool Handtücher. Das Meer wunderbar warm und sauber ebenso der Strand. Das Essen war sehr gut. Guter Service! Die Tauchschule ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert

Traumhafter Ort und Strand ”
Unser Zimmer war sauber (bis auf Kleinigkeiten wie der nicht geputzt Spiegel) jeden Tag wurde auf Wunsch das Zimmer geputzt Das Essen war in Ordnung...wir sind lieber in den kleinen Restaurants die Straße weiter runter gegangen Der Strand war wunderschön und sehr sauber, es wurde mehrmals über den Tag vom Hotel Personal Müll gesammelt. Das Wasser war traumhaft

Unfriendly stuff, nice rooms, noisy”
Als wir angekommen sind, wurden wir mit einem netten Willkommenstrink begruesst. An der Rezeption erfreuten wir uns zunaechst ueber die scheinbar zuvorkommende Geste, ein "Upgrate" in ein groesseres Zimmer zu bekommen. Dieses Versprechen wurde auch eingehalten, aber im Laufe des Aufenthaltes erschloss uns auch mehr und mehr der Hintergrund dieses "Upgrates". Denn unmittelbar neben unserem Zimmer wurden die Ausarbeitungstaetigkeiten des Hotels von morgens um 8 Uhr bis in den Abend getaetigt. Bereits am zweiten Tag machten wir das Personal an der Rezeption darauf aufmerksam, dass wir gerne morgens etwas laenger schlafen wuerden und baten um ein spaeteren Arbeitsbeginn auf der Baustelle. Dies aenderte allerdings redlich wenig und am naechsten Morgen zeichnete sich das selbe Bild ab. Am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes bekamen wir nach dreimaligem Beschweren eine Rueckerstattung von 120RM (ca. 24 Euro), was nicht sonderlich viel war bei einem fuenftaegigen Aufenthalt. Ein Raumwechsel "unmoeglich"

Nevertheless, we listen to our guests and based on your feedback, we stopped work and moved to another location which was far from guest rooms. However, since your request to change room came on the 2nd day, we were fully booked by then as your stay was in Aug 2018 which was our super peak period. Noise is inevitable from other guests when the hotel is full and we would like to suggest that you visit us during the low season which is from now till March 2019 if you prefer peace and quiet. Unfortunately during your stay, there was a congested underground pipe. This has been fixed. This is a village in a remote location and not on the mainland or in a big town. Hence, we have limited infrastructure and the resort has been built mainly by hard physical labour using limited resources available here. Wir hatten eine Familienvilla gemietet, die glücklicherweise am Hang, oberhalb der restlichen Anlage stand. Dadurch waren wir etwas abseits und hatten haben vom Getümmel am Pool nichts mitbekommen. Außerdem war der Blick auf das Meer und den Strand recht schön. Positiv war auch, dass die Klimaanlage gut funktioniert hat. Sonst hat alles einen „abgewohnten“ und nicht besonders gepflegten Eindruck gemacht. Die betonierten oder hölzernen Gehwege zu unserer „Villa“ waren teilweise mit muffigem Kunstrasen belegt genauso wie unsere Aussenterrasse. Das Restaurant hat uns an die Jugendherbergen vergangener Klassenfahrten erinnert. Wenn wir denn etwas bestellen wollten, war eine Standardantwort: sorry - don‘t have! Wenn sich der Zimmerpreis auch auf Jugendherbergsniveau bewegt hätte, wäre das Ganze zumindest fair..

A very c.omfortable stay”
This was our first time staying here, I felt that it was great value for money for a room with two double beds. Air con was cold, the room was clean and quiet. It was lovely to have a pool and many options of activities available. It was great to be right in the beach which was very clean and quiet. There were plenty of beach loungers and hammocks available. It was lovely to experience kampung life, walking out from the resort to the mini mart, animal rescue centre and Juara Turtle Project which is definitely worth a visit. Staff in the restaurant and reception were lovely. The evening entertainment was fantastic - something I don’t appreciate, but this guy was a pleasure to listen to, playing the guitar and singing. There was a wide range of food available on the menu too. All in all a very pleasant stay and I would definitely go again.

Excellent stay at Juara beach Tioman Island”
I wanted to explore clean and less crowded beach and clear water in Malaysia and chose Tioman Island from various reviews. Juara beach is good option though reaching there is crossing a steep mountain. Choosing Barat Tioman Beach Resort proved to be correct as it had all facilities that a family expect. Hospitality, cleanliness, smiling and helpful staff and amenities are key plus points. Stayed there for 4 days and explored the underwater world near island by snorkeling. Resort had steady WiFi. Its money worth spent on holidaying there. Will go back again.

Great place & delicious food ”
We actually ended up cancelling our reservation because of the Movement Restriction Order by the Government, but when I went back to the island, I visited the place. It was neat and beautiful. The staff is very professional. We actually dined in at their cafe twice, the food was super delicious, and the staff was very kind and professional with a nice smile. Also that part of the beach is pretty nice, I would argue it is better than the other beaches in Jura. It is also a nice place for swimming, but if you want to go snorkeling, you should take the boat trip to other places in the island.

My friend and I loved our stay at Barat. Overall, I highly recommend Barat. Pros: facilities are clean, maintained, new; great food at good prices; the beach is STUNNING, clean and we were frequently the only people in the water; incredibly friendly and helpful staff; easy transfer to the hotel. This hotel will provide you whatever you need to enjoy holidays and relax or do activities in an isolated island 2.5 hours away from mainland. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is their most priority. The location is awesome. One can enjoy the sea view from dining and some of the rooms and relax in their private beach too. The food price is a bit high though.

Near the beach, staff is awesome, clean, superb, u just need to buy ferry ticket online, dont expect to get the ferry ticket there, i learn my lesson, but overall the trip is awesome. Snokling is cheap, people are very friendly

We had a very good stay there ! Very convenient & clean. However, there’s no internet there (there’s WiFi at the lobby, but it can’t be used at all during our 4D 3N stay). Purchased the data but still hardly use the internet.

Clean room and territory, biautiful beach and friendly staff. Huge waves (monsoon season), the only place we found good cafe (as it was low season it's realy hard to find place to eat). Spend there only one night (31.12-01.01), as actually live in another hotel, but this place was wonderful, so decided to spend new year night in Barat Tioman Resort). But I think it's real price about 50$ per night (as we paid), in high season the price too high.

Peace and calm, best place to relax”
It's the best place to relax from busy world. The ambience will give peace to the mind. Great food options and nice beach and environment. Staff are so polite and very helpful. Nice experience on pickup truck from jetty to barat resort. My kids enjoyed a lot. I stayed 3 nights and 4 days, feel to stay one more day. Will visit again.

Very friendly staff. Room are big and clean. Tv got no channel but they give hard disk to watch a movie. Good! Got a lot of activities can be done here, several are free and certain need to pay additional fee. Overall nice stay here.

Relaxing and tranquil”
I cant find any fault on the hotel’s part. Everything was perfect. Food maybe a bit on the higher end but there are local cafes just a walk away which are more affordable. Although at first i was worried about crossing the hill to get to kg juara but it was surprisingly relaxing and i enjoyed the greeneries. The sea was a bit rough during our stay but still ok. I definitely want to come here again.

Front desk staff was accommodating and took lots of initiative in resolving issues. For families with young children strongly suggest sea front rather than sea view rooms. Food and rooms are rated highly.

Those who seeking quiet relaxing and most of all, Romantic getaway, this is the best location and the best hotel. My first time to Barat and it was AH MAH ZINGGG. Big two thumbs up to all staffs and management of Barat resort. I will definitely will come again and next time with big group of family. When i first know where is this resort situated, i'm quite disappointed cause i need to incur additional taxi fee to reach the resort from the jetty. However, when i reached there, i found it quite suitable for me and my family cause is not crowded which i believed the other resort that situated nearer to jetty would be. The staff also very nice just at night, the electricity will keep off cause too many occupancy that day. The resort may need to improve in this area
