Great location close to Shinjuku”
Our home away from home at Tokyu Stay was truly wonderful! It’s a small friendly cozy hotel in the middle of or alleyway of lots of little restaurants and shopping! The hotel is quite clean and the staff are so accommodating and friendly!!! The rooms and beds are truly small not the standard size you would expect in the U.S. we booked the small double room and the beds are about the size of a full size bed. The plus is that they have a washer dryer to wash your clothes. The bathroom is decent with a bidet! Small restaurants are a few steps away outside the hotel and even big department stores and small drugstores are about 5 minutes or less a walk away. JR Shinjuku Station is quite close and the San-chome train station is a minute walk away. My sister who has been to Japan many times and is well traveled also loved the location of the hotel. This is the perfect hotel if you want to explore shinjuku area and be close to JR Shinjuku Station! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Super convenient location, lovely room and a washer-dryer in the room!!!!”
It was our first time in Tokyo, Japan and staying there made travelling became an ease with lots of public transport options. Limited room cleaning services but all the basics such as emptying trash was provided. We actually like it that way because bed sheets doesn't need to be changed every day as the room was already clean when we arrived on the first day. The washer-dryer in the room is a big hit because we could do some laundry without costing us extra !!! Yay!!! Lots of food places around. If you need teas or instant coffees, you can get right from the floor you're staying; or enjoy from their coffee machine on the reception level. Reception will keep your luggages if you arrive early like we did. They even brought them to the room already by the time we came back to check in. Amazing customer service!!! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location, good value for money, nice clean room”
The hotel is located near south east exit of JR shinjuku station and almost next to shinjuku sanchome metro station, very good for travelling by train. Staffs were attentive and helpful, I ordered a cash-on-delivery package, I leave the money at front and they manage to pick up the package for me. The room was nice and clean, though they do not include cleaning service if you stay less than 6 nights but you can pay extra if you want. They change towels and pajamas in the room everyday. The other good plus side is they have washer and dryer machine in room, also a microwave too.

Location was superb, u just have to exit from shinjuku Sanchome exit 3C & u’ll see it right away. Room was a pretty decent size. Although the hotel doesn’t provide clean up service they still change your towels & clear your bins daily. Making of bed in my opinion isn’t so important. Also the best part was there is washing machine if your room! & they provide you with washing powder! There’s lotsa bars right downstairs. & it very near to shinjuku shopping area! Will definitely stay here again!

Great Location”
It’s a minute away from Sanchome, and strolling at a leisurely pace will bring you to Shinjuku Station in 10-15 minutes. It’s a great location to explore Tokyo as line transfers are linked to the station. However, do your homework to familiarise yourself with the Shinjuku exits so that you don’t get lost- it is a massive station. Tokyu Stay has a Family Mart nearby and many eateries just at its foot. Overall it’s accessible to a lot of food options. I stayed in a Comfort Single room and the 4 pillows were comfortable. There was a humidifier (fill up on your own daily) and air-con to control the room temp. A nice bathtub and Japanese bidets make the stay a comfortable one. Get bath salts and soak in the tub after a long day! There was a nice desk to eat food or just do some writing. They provide 2 detergent packets and an ironing board, and there is also a kettle and microwave in the room. There is no wardrobe but a rack with 5/6 hangers. There are bedroom slippers. Outside the room, you can get your own free packets of tea (a variety of 3 types) and some hair brushes and sponges. There are vending machines at the lobby. If you stay less than 6 days, you will have your towels changed and rubbish cleared. But no bed make up (which is fine!) If thru can’t enter your room (DND), they will hang clean towelS in a bag at your door.

Fantastic location”
The location of the hotel in Shinjuku can't be beat, there are a lot of food options within walkable distance, and the exit of subway station Shinjuku san-chome is just a few steps away. You can either take exit C3 (need to climb a flight of stairs) or C6 (lift for easy access with luggages). The walk to Shinjuku station is an easy (and flat) 7 mins walk away. Very easy to navigate to the hotel even with luggages. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room size is considered spacious, considering the generally cramped rooms available in Tokyo. Overall an amazing stay at this hotel and I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Tokyo!

Great location & price for budget conscious traveler ”
Stayed here for 7 days. Great location for budget conscious travelers. They only clean your room if you stay more than 7 days but new towels are provided daily. The location is great, it’s right across from C3 exit of Shinjuku 3-Chome train station which can take you to many places as well as about 5 minute walk to the main Shinjuku station. The hotel is clean and new, although the rooms are quite small, it’s not smaller than expected AND bonus there is a washer/dryer inside the room! Staff is friendly and helpful and the surrounding streets have many restaurants and family mart (convenience store) also across the hotel. The only downside is WiFi was not particularly good, so if WiFi is really important to you it might not be a fit. The lobby WiFi was fine. Check in was at 3pm and we dropped our bags off early and returned later with bags inside the room already. Checkout is at 11. No late checkouts. Even 1 hour will cost you half your previous nights room rate.

Best stay ever in Tokyo”
Greatly appreciate the warm welcome and stay in this hotel Very accessible location with Family Mart just diagonally across the street. Not to mention, hotel is surrounded with many food stalls and super near metro station Last surprise was washer / dryer is located in the room and hotel was very nice to also provide complimentary washing powder. Room may not be as big as other hotels we stayed in during our Japan trip, but the size is just right, bathroom is adequate and we feel at home. Lastly, we will like to say a big thank you to all the staff we met along the way.

eco-friendly cleaning schedule”
I don't see a lot of people commenting on this, so instead of saying again how good the location is and how clean the hotel room is, I'd say about their cleaning schedule. The hotel only cleans your room once a week, so if you stay less than one, you don't receive room cleaning service. This time, I stayed for 9 nights and I was well informed when they would come and clean my room. I like this service, first it is very eco friendly, so they don't have to wash everything for you, which may not be needed. second I don't have to pack everything to give way for the cleaner, so I can live it my way :) But don't worry about clean towels, toilet rolls and rubbish etc, if you run out of clean towels and toilet rolls, you can just go down to the reception for refill and I bring down my rubbish bag to them every next day too, and they're always happy to help. This is my 2nd time in this hotel, and I will come back to this one if I visit Tokyo again.

Super Accessible”
Tokyu Stay Shinjuku literally saved my holiday. The location is just perfect and its right opposite of Shinjuku Sanchome Station Marunouchi Line. Less than 4 mins stroll to the station. The staff was very helpful and fret not, they do understand English. Checking in and out was hassle-free, and best part for my wife, they have a washing machine in their room. Meaning, back at home, no washing to be done! It was really a pleasant stay, and we will stay in Tokyu Stay Shinjuku again the next time we visit Tokyo. :)

Value for money, with facilities such as a washing machine and even an ironing board. The room is compact, but it's possible to fully open 2 full-sized suitcases with a bit of clever re-arrangement of furniture. Toilet was spacious by Tokyo standards. If you forgot to bring a travel adaptor, you can borrow one from the hotel when you place a returnable deposit with them. Location wise, it's very near the C3 exit of Shinjuku-sanchome. Do note that there will be a flight of stairs, or you can take the food hall elevator in the building connected to C3's exit up to street level.

Great location, with a 5-10min walk to the main station or subway next door, heaps of places to eat and shop, and a 5minute walk to the park! Staff lovely and room 14th floor for us had a lovely view.

Excellent and comfortable hotel in the middle of Golden Gai”
I enjoyed my stay here. This reasonably new hotel is very clean, and with a very comfortable bed. WIFI is excellent as is the water pressure. The outstanding feature is that the hotel is in themiddle of the Golden Gai area and is easy walking distance of a lot of cool bars and restaurants. It is on minutes walk from one subway station and only 5 minutes walk from the main Shinjuku station. My only regret was that I moved out of Tokyo for a couple of days and cam back. I booked a different hotel to save a little bit of money. This hotel was two subway stops from Shinjuka. Amount I saved was not worth the added travel. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Clean room with Humidifier Air Filter to keep the room humid during Winter time. Aircond/Heater system is available. Good stay, high security and peaceful sleeps. Convenient store (FamilyMart) is nearby within 1 minute walk while availability of restaurants around the hotel area. Very strategic location as nearby to Shopping and Subway/Train station. Staff proficiency in English is reasonable and friendly. Luggage storage available before and after check in.

Great location, just a 7-8 minutes walk from JR Shinjuku station. Next to many small izakaya and restaurants. Family mart is just right opposite the hotel. Booked a room with a washing machine/dryer and it was great but the duration of the entire washing & drying takes a bit long, about 3 hours for half a load of laundry. A small packet of powder detergent is provided free and given by the reception during check-in. Overall, a great hotel!

This Hotel is very well located if you like night life. There is a very nice restaurant right in front of it and the subway entrance was tricky but nearby. I needed new clothes so i just had to walk 3 minutes to a nearby famous clothing retailer and that saved my trip. I think it's a good hotel for the price.

Comfortable hotel in great location!”
Hotel was in a perfect location for our 5 day trip to Tokyo. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and close to Shinjuku station for quick trains to the rest of the city. Rooms are on the small side but well suited with the essentials and having a washing machine / dryer in the room was incredibly helpful.

The two best things about this hotel are the location and the staff. The hotel is very near Shinjuku Sanchome Station, which usually means you can avoid the insane Shinjuku Station. The staff here are super nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet isn't all that great. Skip it and get something from a convenience store instead. There's a CU Mart around the corner.
