Ziemlich laut in der Nacht, da sich in der Nachbarschaft ein Nachtklub befindet. Der geruhsame Schlaf wollte sich nicht einstellen.

Altstadttrubel”

Wir sind für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise eingekehrt. Der Weg von der Tiefgarage zum Hotel war kurz. Die Lage sehr schön, Samstagabends empfehle ich Ohrstöpsel. Es war schön viel los an diesem warmen Sommerabend. Das Bett war weich, dabei bequem, das Frühstück a la Carte und der Kaffee gut. Unser Zimmer klein, für eine Nacht mit kleinem Gepäck o.k. für uns.

Sehr zentral in der Altstadt, viele Cafés und Restaurants rundum. Parken ca 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt. Nettes Hotel, futuristisches Design, Bäder gut, jedoch nur durch Glaswand vom Schlafbereich getrennt. Frühstück gut. Nachts im Sommer bis 3 Uhr morgens sehr laut, aber das ist halt die zentrale Lage…

Top-Lage, sehr freundliches Personal”

Das Hotel hat die beste Lage überhaupt. Mitten im geselligen Zentrum der Stadt. Wir haben den Taxi-Service genutzt: Hervorragend und nicht teuer. Empfehlenswert. Wir hatten eine Kleinigkeit mit unserem Zimmer: Der Rezeptionist Klement hat uns hervorragend geholfen. Kompliment!

Sehr schön, aber 4 Sterne?”

Die Lage ist super, der Blick vom Dachpool auch. Man sollte wissen, dass es nur fußläufig zu erreichen ist. Das mit dem Minicar hat nicht so gut geklappt, war aber kein Problem, Rollkoffer sei Dank. Der kleine Poolbereich ist sehr schön, man hat aber sie ganze Abluft der Restaurantküche in der Nase. Das Zimmer war nett eingerichtet, leider etwas dunkel, da unterm Dach und sie Beleuchtungsmöglichkeit war ok aber eben nicht super. Das Frühstück wurde nach Bestellung serviert. War lecker. Wir hatten nur Problem zu verstehen, was aus der Karte zum Hotelfrühstück gehört und was nicht. Das könnte man besser kommunizieren. Sehr nett war der Willkommensdrink. Enttäuscht waren vom roomservice, wir hatten keine Karte auf dem Zimmer, was überhaupt bestellbar ist. Das wurde uns am Telefon nicht geglaubt. Der Lösungsvorschlag war entweder runter zu gehen und auf die Karte zu gucken oder im Internet nachlesen. Der Gipfel war dann, dass wir direkt bei Lieferung bezahlen mussten und nicht aufs Zimmer geschrieben werden konnte. Sehr eigenartig. Insgesamt eine schöne Unterkunft, das Preileistungsverhältnis passt unserer Meinung nach nicht ganz.

Eine komische und überschaubare Art ein Frühstück anzubieten. Hotel, Lage und Ausstattung ansonsten sehr gut.

Katastrophales Frühstücks-Management”

Das Hotel hat ein Mini-Badezimmer und das Frühstück wird nicht professionell serviert. Man bekommt automatisch Gebäck , Marmelade und Butter, zwei weitere Speisen kann man aussuchen. Die Forelle war leider aus und der Toast mit Avocado bestand aus einem getoastetem ,schweren Stück Brot. Die Vögel machen sich über die Reste her und niemand kümmert sich darum. Extrem langsame und unfreundliche Bedienung. Gäste, die nicht im Hotel wohnen und frühstücken wollten, wurden abgewiesen, weil die Wartezeit 45 Minuten war. Schade!

Super hotel kann ich jeden empfehlen. Super Frühstück war so lecker. Ich würde gerne wieder buchen.

Top Lage mit einigen Makeln”

Das Hotel liegt in Premiumlage, das Personal ist super nett, hilfsbereit und sehr unterhaltsam. Das Frühstück ist großartig, die Lage direkt an der Flaniermeile lassen einen gerne länger dort verweilen. Leider gibt es auch etwas zu beanstanden. Der kleine Raum (small) soweit ok, jedoch war das Bad so winzig, dass es ein Kunstwerk ist, nicht ohne blaue Flecken zurück zukommen. Das Bad ist durch eine Glaswand getrennt, mit Schiebetür, was keine Privatsphäre bietet. Sichtschutz bietet ein Vorhang, welcher leider recht befleckt war. Richtig störend war der Geruch im Zimmer. Das Zimmer und wahrscheinlich das ganz Haus hat Feuchtigkeitsprobleme sodass es stark nach Schimmel roch. Einige Kleidungsstücke haben diesen Geruch nach nur 1 Nacht angenommen. Wer keine empfindliche Nase hat, die Lage des Hotels entscheidend ist -go for it.

When in Ljubljana, You Should Stay Here”

The Vander Urbani Resort in Ljubljana is the place to stay when visiting the city. Situated in downtown on the Ljubljanica River it is in one of the best locations for exploring downtown Ljubljana, whether shopping, dining or enjoying the historic architecture. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms are modern, clean and quite comfortable. The prices are higher than other hotels in the city, though quite reasonable for the location. I highly recommend that when you visit Ljubljana that you stay in the Vander Urbani Resort, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic location ”

Young super nice crew looking after all your needs. Small roof terrace with small pool great if you have it to yourselves, otherwise a nice place to catch up with other travellers. Food at the restaurant delicious and nicely presented. Would definitely come back and recommend this hotel.

Location ”

This is on a walking area of the downtown if you are travelling by car you need to park your car at the garage then you walk to the hotel it’s easy access to different restaurants bars and attractions along the river and the downtown Square

Great breakfast, very helpful front desk, Clement, rooms ok bit shabby furnishings and lenens. Smelly bathroom n rm 34 & noisy n rm 19. Price for value not really. 3.5 star not 4!

Bad service ! Water damage but no relocation ”

Our stay could have started very well if there had not been a water damage in the room of this hotel before our arrival. We had left our luggage at the reception desk and presented our ID cards without being warned. After several minutes in lubjana, the reception called me to tell me that the room was not available. Back at the hotel, the staff only said they were sorry but did not offer us any alternative accommodation. A part of the hotel was privatized for a party and were overbooked. We had to ask them to call another hotel (found on a other site) to check availability. A problem can happen but the staff was not able to solve it. Beyond that, the rooftop is beautiful (privatized at our arrival so inaccessible). The toilets, in the basement shared with the restaurant, were not clean. In short, to deserve 4 stars and positive ratings, the infrastructure and service must impeccable

Disappointment ”

First of all I would like to mention that the hotel has an amazing location and very good restaurant , runner by a professional staff. But when it comes to the hotel facilities the picture is completely opposite. It’s not a problem that the rooms are small , the problem is that they are dirty and really bad maintained. Definitely not a value for the price.

Disaster experience with agoda and Vander urbani

Not as expected”

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel. It is a charming hotel from the outside and very well located. We booked this specific hotel to take advantage of the rooftop mini swimming pool which looked so relaxing with lovely views, however it was not yet operational so we could not use this facility as programed. We had the tiny and cozy room that stinked 24h/day (Room 12 on the first floor). I suppose this is due to the age of the building/pipes that needs to be renewed. The toilet is so small that you have to "cut your nails" to get inside (can not fit 2 pax inside the toilet). Views to another building that people can see you in bed. Pillows are too low but using 2 pillows make it too high to sleep. On the third night/day there was no hot water, husband could not shave. TV channels did not work all days and was never repaired or the TV replaced. Reception girls very friendly and they try to do their best to help you but it is clearly that they don't have the power to solve the problems... maybe there is a management issue in this hotel. Breakfast is ok and a la cart with some variety and quality but not very suitable for those who intend to stay more than 3 nights, in this case I think it can become limited. The young brunette lady in the restaurant is very friendly and extremely professional. We have looked and stayed in other hotels in the city center with much better service, quality and price. Considering the described staying I don't think this hotel is a good option.
