        The location was very good for me. It's high on the hill, just below the castle, and about 500 metres from the old town so it's quiet and away from the crowds. The views from my room were great. The host was polite and friendly. The bed was comfortable.
        I have no complaints at all. (It would be nice to have a bedside lamp for reading.)

        Very beautiful building with a nice patio full of plants. We stayed for 3 nights and it was very comfortable and clean. The hosts were very helpful and always on hand. The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to the historical centre but in a very quiet area. We could park our car on the property, the hosts helped us to find the place (don't trust Google! The old town has very steep and narrow roads so it's better not to make a mistake when getting there..). We liked Gjirokastra so much we decided to stay an extra night :)

        the location is so beautiful, situated next to the castle of gjirokastra. it’s just a 10 min. walk to the old bazar where are all the restaurants and shops. the location itself is really clean and comfy, we liked to stay at denis house. they were so friendly to us even though we checked out way too late because we slept too long.
        in our room the shower was leaking on the bathroom floor, everything on the floor got wet, that could’ve been fixed

        Nice location in the old town. Friendy and helpful family. Clean and quiet room. Great parking. Excellent wi-fi.
        The room didn't have the facilities mentioned in the prescipition. There were no facilities of cooking your own meals no fridge and restaurants are long away especially if you are a bad walker.

        Bad experience for us, but positive points too”

        Good sized room, near to Old Town, comfortable bed, good views, reasonable price. Authentic style that we had aimed for.
        Cobwebs on window pelmet (pic taken). Sink gushed all water out on floor for my partner within 5 minutes of arrival: Male owner blamed us and called us liars. Fell out over exchange rate too so we paid in Euros. Couldn’t use kettle as it is used by hosts put herbs in and brew Albanian tea. Despite Booking.com ad, there are NO BALCONIES at this establishment. Hosts tried to say to Booking.com we hadn’t arrived, to avoid our rating!!! Who are the liars? A little bit too “authentic” as it turned out.
