Not like the pictures ”
The pictures are very old, and the place is now run down and dated with things falling apart. Five years ago, it would have been lovely to stay here. If you are on the bottom level, it will be very noisy when people are on the floor above you. Pro: friendly and helpful staff Clean pool, clean rooms, clean dining Easy walk to Palaton beach Cons: Very run down, not like the photos Noisy ground floor accommodation if people in the for above Things falling apart everywhere ... And not there fault, but roosters and cows all around that will wake you at 5am each day

Definitely a Paraiso”
I went on vacation with my family in Siquijor and we stayed in Descanso En Paraiso for 3 nights. I didn't expect that the place is very nice since there's not much review on it. The rooms are clean and tidy. The place is quiet where you can relax and calm your mind. The staffs are very approachable and very accomodating. They have a variety of food available which are very affordable and tasty. A kid pool (around 2 ft) where my kid enjoyed swimming, and an adult pool (4-9ft). We also enjoyed the white sand beach (Paliton Beach) which is just a 5-10 minutes distance walk. Overall, I highly recommend this place and we'll definitely book again.

This was a great deal! It was really spacious and a great deal for a family of 4! It even came with free breakfast. The view and the landscape were amazing! The staff were super nice also. Food was also great! Definitely worth staying at! Thanks so much to the entire staff & mgt for this!

If you want a good night sleep, then this is it. Matresses, pillows and comforter are of high quality. Great breakfast and staff are very friendly and courteous. cons - the width of your vehicle is how wide is the road leading to the hotel. Glad we are the only guest on our 3 days stay, but even motorbike has to clear the way for me.

Overall the best place to stay in Siquijor”
About the only thing that can't be rated as 5 star would be the ocean access and its waters since there aren't much to see when snorkeling within a short distance. The cliff access maybe not be suitable for children and even some adults. But there are lots of ocean beachside places around the island to compensate. Also the location is a bit a ways off from the main road with the super narrow roads immediately leading to the resort a challenge for bigger vehicles. Still, everything in the resort is 5 stars, from the amazing staff, the food and the super cozy rooms. If you need strong access to the internet for whatever reason, its best to use Smart network data on your phone as Globe and TM is spotty in some areas and their wifi does not cover the entire resort. Still, you're not in Siquijor to do work but to enjoy a carefree vacation. If you need to cool off, the pool is a welcome sight. Do make sure you are a confident swimming in the deep end which is 3 meters deep and only a small shallow portion. But a small kiddie depth pool welcomes the swimming challenged. The food is a value for the money with their reasonable portions and prices. Best of all is the boodle platter that has a little bit of everything. This place is definitely worth returning over and over again in the future.

If you want to be really close to the water with a ton of privacy, this is the place for you. There's no actual beach but rather a cliff, over which the resort built a "diving dock" straight into the ocean. The villas are nice, comfortable and clean but dated. But if you're coming here for the indoors then there's definitely something wrong with you. Great team. Friendly. Punctual. Extremely accommodating.
