Fell asleep to sounds of the ocean”
We had a gulf/pool view and it was perfect. High floor, which helps the view. The balcony is large, private and screened-no bugs and we could leave both patio doors open all night and hear the waves. Our room was 2 rooms, one the bedroom with king bed, the other a sitting room with TV and refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and dishes which was great; we could prepare snacks or sandwiches or anything that didn't need a stove. Beach towels are provided, beach chairs you rent daily if you want. Pool looks nice, we never went because the beach beckoned. The Cabana was fun and good bar food; Randy was a great bartender. Rick was our"bellhop" arriving and departing. He was pleasant and offered helpful information about Diamondhead and things to do. It was pricey this time of year but worth it to us. We stayed 7 nights, we're hoping to return before the year is out.

I know this is a beach resort, but going barefoot in the room from day 1 there was sand on the floor. I took a blanket out of the closet, while sitting on the couch I shook the blanket to cover up and sand flew up in my face. There wasn't enough regular coffee in the room for two people. On a good note...there were plenty of towels in the room. We chose not to have housekeeping come in while there 2 nights due to resting during the time they would have come in. The only thing we needed was coffee and we asked for it at the front desk. All and all, it was a good experience.

Beautiful gulf views and great beach!”
We rented 3 one room suites connected with our daughter, her husband, my son, his girlfriend and our 22 year old. stayed on our pull out We loved Ft Myers Beach and the Cabana outdoor bar/restaurant at Diamond Head. Wish there had been housekeeping but they were good about giving towels when asked.

A fantastic beach resort ”
Me and the wife stayed here for two days while we were in Florida for a friends wedding. Everything was perfect. We had a great view of the ocean and Fort Meyers Beach from our room. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful, clean and delightful”
My husband and I needed a little getaway and I booked less than a month ahead of time. Diamondhead set us up with a car service to and from the airport (we paid for) and we did not need a car all week. We spent our days at the resorts beautiful pool and hot tub, sat on the beach, enjoyed drinks by the pool and their outdoor bar. Everyone was very pleasant and hospitable. Sat through the time share schpeal for some extra cash for our tab of extra amenities and had a great week. I would recommend Diamondhead to anyone!

what no beach chairs ”
very nice resort, they do have resort fees what is fine, and I knew about . but if you want a pair of beach chairs it will cost you $30 per day. pretty cheesy

January quick getaway ”
We really enjoyed the resort for our quick 4 day weekend.the only thing we were disappointed is that you have to pay to use beach chairs on the beach - I think it was $20 a day : the day we got there we went to sit at around 4 pm and I was asked if I want d to rent- I asked “ rent what”:.... we got up and left : I understand charging for non resort guests - however, this was annoying.

Easy to move around..fast elevator, minimal doors. From my room on 12th floor to sandy beach in 3 minutes. Staff was subtly amazing..always there promptly when we had needs. Front desk helped me troubleshoot my computer . Smart, friendly, excellent staff! I feel like I have a second home in Florida!

Great Place To Stay Right On the Beach”
We enjoyed our stay very much. I loved that it was right on the beach. It was so convenient! I loved that we had a balcony, and we could sit out and enjoy seeing the beach. The suite was also nice and big. Staff was very nice.

Checked in early, staff was wonderful, great beach and pool with a nice outdoor bar/restaurant. Walking distance to public beach and pier. Be back soon!

Weekend getaway”
My wife and I stayed for a long weekend in June of 2018. The hotel is very nice with clean rooms and a great view. The pool is nice and clean and they have activities scheduled at different times. The Cabanas bar and restaurant has great food and a great atmosphere to enjoy the beach and they have live music and different times.

great time at the beach and pool”
I was only disturbed on one morning by the construction going on and the rest of the stay was pretty quiet. Can't wait for the new restaurant to be finished and open. The only complaint I had that was serious , is the fact that I'm an asthmatic and there was no place I could escape from the smokers at the pool and cabana. I had to keep moving my seat. Also someone's child jumped on my head while diving into the pool and I got kicked in the face. An adult time or pool would be nice.

Excellent resort on beach! Bed was not good quality!”
We had a great time! Everything was available right at the resort. Our only issue, and it was huge, was our bed was terrible. The springs made it impossible to rest well. We ended up sleeping on the pullout bed, it wasn’t as bad but still it’s nice to be home in a good bed!!
