"The wonderful 2 Star Resort Hotel"”
i used to stay some 3 star hotels but diamond resort hotel(2 star) is even better.the rooms are clean & comfortable,bungalow here are wonderful,near swimming pool,beautiful flowers garden,i like to have a sun bath in the morning,listen to the birds&nature.location is good,quiet and near bien hoa downtown & some famous history place.it's also convenient to go to saigon(15km),vung tau(90km).staff are very friendly& helpful,they even let me borrow the mobile battery charge,dvd films when i need. i'll always stay here whenever i come to bien hoa city.

Awesome 2 stars resort. ”
I'm from Seattle and travelling with my wife and my young baby. Diamond resort is the only resort in Bien Hoa city, about 10 mins away from downtown. It's clean, nature and peaceful. These staffs here are very friendly and helpful, some people can't speak English well but the receptionist can do good and I also have Google translate, no problem. The food in the restaurant is pretty good and variety. we enjoy the blue and clean swimming pool, and the sun of tropical town. The rooms is clean, have pool and landscape view, also have LCD TV with cable, free wifi everywhere. Overall, Diamond resort is perfect as 2+ or nearly 3 stars hotel with very good price. We recommend it to everyone and will be back.

Relaxing, peaceful setting just outside of Bien Hoa's bustle”
Diamond Resort is a quiet, charming little place a few km southwest of Bien Hoa town with easy access to Tan Son Nhat airport. Run and operated by a nice group of people. Garden/country-like setting free from the noise and fast pace of Bien Hoa itself, though at the resort one does here roosters and an occasional passing train. Not much to see in the immediate vicinity of Diamond. Overall, excellent value for the money and a very pleasant experience.

Nice Hotel with friendly helpful Staff”
The stay was very nice and pleasant with a friendly staff who was always willing and ready to help. It was value for that price and the facilities are great for a two star hotel which was exactly as what the website specified. Most of all it was the staff who made the difference with a friendly courteous service at all times.Special note of Winnie who is the main manager who goes out of her way to make the guests feel relaxed, comfortable making it a pleasant and memorable stay. Thanks also to her friend Vy, who helped with useful info on getting about and places to see. The location is about an hours drive away from the main Ho chi min city and with not too many attractions around the hotel location it makes it a bit far for for shopping /site seeing etc. Would also be good to increase the list in the menu with a little bit more variety with a mix of eastern, western and Vietnamese cuisine as there aren't many restaurants nearby the Hotel. But overall if you are looking for a calm, relaxing , peaceful place with a staff who'll make it a home away from home - then this is the place to stay - Diamond Hotel & resort, Bien Hoa.

I live in Ho Chi Minh City, and wanted to get away for the weekend, but not travel too far. I read some reviews of the Diamond Hotel before booking on Agoda. I'd read some complaints, one of which was that it was ''too quiet''., which for me what its main draw!!! I was not disappointed!! I found the places quite easily, riding by motorbike from Saigon. The check in was very prompt, and I was lead to a small villa room next to the pool / garden area. The aircon was not working so well, so the staff quickly changed me to a new room, also by the pool. The place is so quiet, it's why I loved it, and the design of the pool garden area is lovely. The nearby street offers some small stores / and small market, sellling water, fruits and other snacks. The hotel is near a railway line, but to be honest, I heard none of the trains. This place was so relaxing. When you book a room with 'breakfast included' you will get the traditional Vietnamese bread with fried egg, with a side of tomato / cucumber., which was enough for me. If you would like a larger breakfast, you can order from the menu, for a small extra charge. This place was so relaxing, and it will become my new escape for weekends out of Saigon! Thanks Diamond, I had a great stay!!! I'll be back!

Very nice hotel with good price”
It was a nice time in Diamond resort hotel. Beautiful garden, pool, room design. I like the bungalow surrounded by palm trees, also fast free wifi. The staff are helpful and friendly. Can't complaint or ask more for 20$/day hotel. This hotel is better than some motel in usa with 45$/day. I'll come back with my friends soon, highly recommend for staying in this hotel.

I live in Saigon, and often come to this hotel to get away from the big city for a few nights. I really like the quiet, and the location, out of the city area. It's just a short motorbike / taxi ride into Bien Hoa if you do want restaurants or shopping. I've always been happy with my stay here, although this time, the swimming pool wasn't very clean, so my son and I didn't want to swim in it. Please clean the pool, and then I will be able to give your place 5 stars again, like in my previous reviews! ;) <3

Thoa and Thanh were great - so was nice lady in restaurant and guys on reception and security guys - and room cleaners - so friendly and helpful - great pool - biggest problem = 98% of taxi drivers could not find diamond hotel or did not know where it was - ( even when i gave them hotel card and amp )

Lovely quiet place. ”
I live in Ho Chi Minh City, and have used this hotel 3 times as a weekend getaway from the big city. Located in a very quiet area, this place has a lovely garden and pool area. There is also a restaurant at the hotel, offering basic and reasonably priced food. This is a place for people wanting to relax and explore the surrounding countryside. Do not come here if you think it's going to offer you lots of entertainment. The surrounding area is deadly quiet from about 8pm. That's why I love this place, as a retreat.

economical small resort only 40 min from ho chi mi”
we wanted an economic resort not far from ho chi minh and we got it. outside is not that great but for tourist can be a nice walk to know the real vietnam country side life. inside the feeling was to be in a the forest and during the day was quiet. night was noisy with trains passing by, dogs and chickens but if you don't bother as i do, it makes you feel out of the city. last, the food is great simple vietnamese but they are willing to do market dishes for you if available at reasonable price. my wife enjoyed great local clams...

Isolated location”
The hotel is quite isolated from anything. Taking a cab to Bien Hoa town is around 8km away and cost about VND120,000 or USD 6. Forget about going out at night without taking a cab as the street becomes totally dead by 8pm.

Good Value”
This place was out of the way and in a housing/commercial area. However, for the price it was excellent. It was far from perfect. Bathroom wasnt great and quite a bit dirty. Room was average and the air conditioner was noisy. But I paid almost nothing for the room and all up it was OK. I will stay there again because it was comfortable and friendly. Pool was ok and restaurant ok too. I liked it there.

Lovely owners were very helpful, nice size room and breakfast included. Nice enough, though the hotel has seen better days, but as we are used to lower standards by now we thought it was very nice. A pleasant experience, wouldn't mind staying there again.

Relaxing budget hotel”
We booked a weekend at the Diamond Resort because it is quite close to home and it has a pool. The prices are cheap so our expectations were not that high. In the end, we had a quiet, relaxing weekend, but we won't be rushing back. The whole resort has seen better days. The room was OK, but lacked some of the facilities no balcony, no tea & coffee, no hot water, no complimentary bottled water. The staff were willing, but they had little English between them so communication was difficult. The pool was cleaned twice daily while we were there, but it still didn't look that clean and had broken tiles. There was very little choice of food in the restaurant, but what we had was nice enough.

The hotel is a little difficult to find. The room was so so. Though the bathroom was a little old. Water pressure was weak. The swimming pool was a little dirty because they served food right beside it. The hotel was quiet. Overall, a good destination if you want to relax.

Friendly and helpful staff”
The staff are very freindly but do not speak any english. It is quite noisy with roosters crowing and a train line behind the property. The room is OK but the bathroom is definitely basic. A taxi driver is onsight and can be trusted for your local transport. Good resteraunt and food. A bit out of the way for tourists but good value low budget stay.
