Needs work”
The wait staff and bar staff were absolutely phenomenal! The room was clean and accommodating. However, the advertisement online doesn’t say that the casino is across the road and not connected. The same is true for the second pool and health facility. The public restrooms by the main pool were out of order the entire week we were there. And for some odd reason, the manager decided that it would be a good time to have a 62 year old lady go out and shovel rocks off the beach mid day when it was 85°. That had to be humiliating for Ann. Then they decided to bring in a large piece of equipment and have five workers try to shovel seaweed, and rock onto it. That made for a great view! The property just seems to be completely mismanaged, but has a lot of potential.

Such friendly service ”
The week at Divi was our first all-inclusive experience. It was a simple relaxing vacation, with just one day of sightseeing- an island tour by Sweeney, who is extremely knowledgeable and something of a local legend ($75/person), plus a taxi visit to Point Udall. The breakfast buffet was extensive and varied daily. Lunches at Oceans Bar and Grill by the beach, pool and hot tub were entirely satisfactory and came with breathtaking views and steady warm breezes. There were only 40 guests the week we were there; it was very uncrowded. Buffet dinners featured a changing variety of Caribbean food. Toscana, the fine-dining restaurant, is open only Monday and Tuesday nights but was outstanding. The bartenders can mix all sorts of cocktails even though the bars are small. Entertainment included fire dancers, a DJ and karaoke. There were also activities like pool aerobics, but we mostly just sat and read a good book by the pool, enjoying the warm sea air. The winter weather is just pleasantly warm, with highs around 81F, and of course humid. The sea is warm, but water shoes are recommended due to rocks and shells. (The beach is strewn with shells, including large conch shells.)

Adult-Only AND All-Inclusive!”
What's not to love in Paradise! Special shoutout to Veronica, Tristan, Ramon, Pablo and Bethany! These staff members made our honeymoon trip exceptional! Extra special shoutout to Mr. Francis Didier, our taxi driver for the entire week. He made sure that every excursion was safe and relaxing! Honest and dependable, we look forward to partnering with him again in the future!

Above average”
This property is ABSOLUTELY NOT READY TO BE OPEN. Extremely understaffed, Only ONE restaurant is open, and it is only available every other day, other days you get a buffet downstairs in the breakfast room . We waited over 2 hours for our dinner, at least twice in a week and the orders were never correct ! The beach is totally unusual due to tons of seaweed washing onto it continuously. They are working on it, but it’s months away from ever being anywhere near what’s advertised. As of April 2022, this property is not worth even half of what they are charging 😱. Staff was wonderful but extremely overwhelmed and overworked and the location is not as advertised at all. Please save your money for somewhere else !

Great Hotel”
The staff are super welcoming, the facility is clean and perfect. I love the east accessibility to the bar, pool and the beach. It was great to wake up to the view of the ocean waves highly recommend!

Great potential ”
Let me start by saying the reviews on this place scared me. Was it a 5 star experience, hell no. But the bad reviews instilled enough fear in me to just have a go with the flow attitude. The staff varied; the restaurant folks were hard workers with a smile, some others, well, let’s just say I had to plead for an extra roll of TP. there is plenty of room for growth and finishing construction, but it’s a beautiful off the beaten path with some great views. Just make sure you don’t have every meal there, the buffet is questionable.

Not finished”
Nothing is fully operational. One restaurant not open. Mini-golf and Spa not open. It actually doesn't appear to be actively being worked on. Rooms are nice but not totally operational. It is ,however, directly on the beach with nice pools and staff. Scheduled entertainment was a no show.

Misrepresent amenities ”
It was advertised and presented with the check in information that the Tuscany restaurant was available. The restaurant was never open. Instead of a fine dining experience we were provided a cafeteria experience in a lesser restaurant. I feel that Divi resorts should compensate us for this short fall.

Terrible ”
We had no WiFi, no TV, no phones and on two days no water or electricity. I’m still trying to get some reimbursement from the hotel.

Bad place to vacation”
The facility was not ready in my opinion The computers were down when we got there. The elevators did not work and we were given a room on the third floor. The phones did not work so we had to go in person to the front desk if we needed anything. There was no hot water when we arrived and it never got fixed. The power went down on the entire complex ( not any where adjacent) around midnight. Since the power was out we did not have any running water and the toilets quit working. No one at the facility bothered to check on us. We left the next morning and tried to find another place to stay. We were able to find a room for a couple of days at the Palms (highly recommended) and plan to stay at the Sandcastle on the beach for the remainder of our trip.
