Great location at an affordable price”
The hotel is located about 7mins walk from the train station. The room size for an individual is sufficient and the bed is fairly comfortable. The staff have limited English skills but are very willing to try and communicate. The umbrellas can be borrowed for free on a rainy or snowy day. The free evening supper is a good service as guests are often hungry in the cold season at night. The onsen on the top floor is great! Male and female have separate baths. There is also a washer and dryer available for use. All in all a confortable hotel with lots of eateries nearby. There's a '100 yen shop' on the basement level next to the train station and a 'Seria' (everything here is also 100 yen each) in the shopping centre attached to the train station on the 2nd or 3rd floor.

Love their outdoor onsen”
Good onsen on 11th floor. Nice smoking room 311. They have Non-smoking rooms too. Free soba from 9:30pm taste so good. They have a coffee machine at Lobby from 6am to 11am and 3pm to 11pm, free for guests. 5 minutes walk from Akita JR Station. Excellent staff services. Due to the current Covid19 outbreak, they don't have breakfast.

Hotel Dormy inn in Akita is amazing. Very nice located near Akita sta. Very clean and the personnel staff is very reliable. Onsen located at 11th floor is the best ;) I really enjoyed my stay, highly recommended!!!

I had a good time at this hotel. It's a business hotel with a fantastic onsen. No complaints from me! A good price and walking distance to the train station and lots of restaurants in town. Great location!

Nice rooftop outdoor hotel with free Ramen for supper. Room & bed was clean, but please be aware that you have to pay for carpark. It was under construction but the inside of the hotel was ok.

nice view, on the heart of the city, tasty breakfast”
the building has a full view of lake with sakura trees on its bank. 10 minutes walk to Kubota castle and senshu park. The sakura tress are in full bloom on senshu park on 3rd week of april. The 2 public onsen is great to use at 5 am when not crowded.

Everything was good exept the smell in the room. The reception had mentioned it, but they had no other room. The smell was beyond expectations though, and I was glad I could slightly open the window. Onsen was nice, staff helpful and hinest in their concern for the smell!
