We spend two nights in Fukuoka as a resting place between Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The hotel staff was outstanding, just excellent. Helped me with my rental car that needed to be swapped. I’ve traveled a fair share and these staff members were the best I have come across. Room was very comfortable and the amenities they provide at the Dormy inn were plentiful from the free use of the washing machine to their ramen meal at night. Bottom line your not going to find a better value or service for your money. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel that ticks all the right boxes”
Good location that’s 2mins walk from Gion station and 10mins from Hakata station. Hotel also provides 1-way shuttle to Hakata in the morning. Very clean and well-maintained rooms and facilities. Service is also good and staff is prompt with responding to requests. Impressed with service whereby they already put my luggage in my room when I checked in for 2nd stay after a night’s stay in another town. Good onsen and nice gesture with ramen supper although soup is slightly salty. Highly recommended and will stay again.

GREAT STAY IN FUKUOKA, JAPAN!”
First of all, the location is great. Only three train stops from the airport for Y260. Make sure to take Exit 6 which has an elevator. A Gion Station employee told us to take Exit 3 for Dormy Inn, and we two seniors had to haul our suitcases over 100 + steps! Argh!!! You end up only 50 feet apart! It is also a short stroll to Kawabata Arcade for old-fashioned shops, Canal City Mall, and Tenjin Station with an enormous underground mall. One can spend all day perusing the shops. Our room was one of the largest we have ever had in Japan. We enjoyed the natural hot springs before breakfast. They warmed us and were such a treat as it was chilly and rainy outside. Breakfast is amazing!!! Even if you must pay more for your room, it is worth it! All you can eat and all so delicious. It will carry you until a late lunch or early dinner, then you can enjoy the delicious complimentary ramen at 9:30pm - 11:00pm in the hotel restaurant, too!

Nice place and good location”
There is familymart in 1st floor. It is very near to Kushida shrine where is beautiful temple. It is near to The canal city that place has a lot of brand. It is not far from airport. I take taxi go back to airport around 1500 yen. There is free laundry in 2nd floor. Onsen is very beautiful and clean. Facility is perfect !!!. There is free ramen every night. It is very delicious.

Good things in small package”
Location is excellent (walking distance to the Gion station, near to Hakata station and Canal City). There is a Family Mart next door where you can get all the food supplies needed. Restaurants are nearby. In term of service, the onsen provided is good to end our day with nice soak bath. Free ramen is provided at night for those who are hungry at night. Portion is just nice to fill up the stomach. We didn't include our breakfast into the reservation but after reading the reviews, we decided to give it a try. It didn't disappoint us. The breakfast is excellent with variety of food to choose from (mainly Japanese food). All in all, I would highly recommend for those who are looking for their stay in Fukuoka.

Love the hotel with a great location which just 5mins walk from the subway. Provide good facilities like onsen and free ramen for supper is an add-on service to the customer. The staff provide good services for all the customer. Help me to keep the luggage while room not ready to check-in. Their check-in process an easy and simple. I would like to stay again when visit to Fukuoka.

Exceptional”
Great hotel will very accessible location. It only requires 3-min walk to the Gion Subway Station and there is a bus stop just outside the hotel. Staff is friendly and they can speak fluent English! Excellent! Free hot spring service is definitely a highlight of the hotel and it allows customers to relax completely after a day of tour around Kyushu area. More than that, the hotel offers complimentary late-night ramen service, which is perfect to enjoy right after taking a hot spring. Overall speaking, an excellent hotel!

Perfect in many ways”
The 24-hour hotspring is wonderful. There are coffee machine at the lobby for guests to enjoy. Family mart is just opposite the reception counter, you can get almost everything you want. The room is big and clean. I totally love this place!

The hotel is clean and cozy and the onsen on 2/F is great with good security. Many restaurants are also nearby the hotel. It is very convenient to have a private entrance between hotel and the Family Mart. I will come again next time.

Excellent location, clean, Onsen, night ramen on house!”
We chose Dormy Inn Hakata because of the location. We were there for Hakata Gion Yamakasa Festival (July). Hotel locates only a couple blocks to the iconic Kushida shrine, so we manage to witness Hakata's tradition that started over 750 years ago. Also it's very close to Hakata main station/bus terminal, covered shopping street, and Canal City shopping mall. Going to central Tenjin area is also easy with bus or subway. Breakfast buffet has many choices, and late night complimentary ramen!!!! Don't forget to mention about Onsen. It was perfect for us!!! I would stay agin!!

Exceptional”
Great location. Great price. Staff were friendly. The bus station right outside the hotel was convenient. The buffet was okay... the Japanese food was better than the western food. Our room was quiet. We loved using the massage chairs in the lounge on the club level (have to reserve a club level room). We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Located in strategic location, minutes away from subway. A station away to Hakata station, where you can get good selections of food, and with few supermarkets. Easy to airport, 3 stations, the earlier train to airport is 5:45. The gate open at 5:30. You need to get shuttle bus from domestics terminal to international terminal. Our flight is 8:55am. We arrived and check in without any issue.

Convenient location”
Hotel is located near to canal city shopping mall. Gion subway is just round the corner. There were many eateries nearby. We enjoyed our stay especially the in house hot spring bath. Hotel to Fukuoka International airport is 10 min drive by taxi (<1500 yen). Double bed is a little small for 2 but shouldn’t be an issue if you’re too tired from sightseeing.

Value for Money, Will Definitely Stay at Dormy Inn Again”
