Staffs are very kind / friendly. Strongly recommend to stay, it’s worth staying!! Location: The hotel is located where close to the Hirosaki Castle park! It’s 10min walk to the nearest gate “Outremon”. Also you can find many restaurants around. Convenience store is in front of the hotel. (1 min) Facility: There is a big Onsen bath on 10th floor. Paid roundly machines as well. Room: Clean and comfortable size to stay. Air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, room ware, tooth brush are available (free), of course towels and kettle /mug cup. Unique service: Small Ramen and some canned drinks are served at the canteen on 2nd floor , it’s free(9:30pm-11pm)

As good as before”
Having visited this hotel before the pandemic, and I was impressed with the quality of this hotel then. Great thing is that it still remains the quality it used to be even it seems a bit short staffed. This hotel will be my top choice if I visit Hirosaki again. However, to meet the need of international visitors， it seems necessary for the staffs to upgrade their English.

Was within walking distance to Hirosaki Castle”
Loved that is was within walking distance to the castle and gardens! The women's outdoor rooftop onsen was so beautiful and relaxing. The staff was very nice and accommodating. My husband did get a massage but it was with him fully clothed even a goodie on so wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a traditional massage. But we loved it and will definitely go back

One of the best hotels we have stayed in so far”
We had a great experience staying at Dormy Inn Hirosaki. The hotel is quite new. Location is a bit further away from the station but there was a free shuttle service provided from the JR station (every half hour) and back to the station from the hotel. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious, but we were most pleased with the complimentary hot water spa and sauna on the top floor of the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was superb and very extensive. The hotel is also walking distance from the castle.

I was looking for a hotel near castle for one night. This hotel is pretty new and located a few blocks from Castle and garden. I had bit trouble finding it but if you follow the direction for Hirosaki University Hospital you will find it as it is located very near hospital. We had a car so I don't know how far this is from the public transportation. Restaurants are all around, we walk to castle at night to see it lit up - beautiful! I love the hot spring bath located at the 10th floor. Japanese love to bath - it is beautiful, relaxing. Watching those night lights and soaking in warm water (outside) was my favorite! The breakfast was also great - traditional Japanese foods and european buffet was fresh and tasty.

Relaxing getaway near Hirosaki castle”
We spent 3 nights at Dormy Inn on our anniversary weekend. It is a clean, comfortable hotel with an onsen on the 10th floor overlooking the city of Hirosaki. It has an nice breakfast for an additional ¥1200 which offers a great variety American & Japanese options.

Well equipped hotel ”
Hotel is well equipped with onsen which is prefect choice for us. The only 2 issues for our stay is about location and accident . First about location , it takes more than 20 mins walk for us to be there from Hirosaki station which you have to consider if you are carrying heavy luggage ( suggest to take taxi from the station to hotel. Seacond , When I went for hot spring bath , the door going to outdoor bath which is unexpected close in a short time. When I try to hold the door for others who are going out, my hand has been stuck ! Then I find my hand was bleeding non-stop coz the edge of that sliding door is really sharp! It’s like knife cutting to my fingers! Hope they can improve this in the future!

With the loop bus (bus stand no.2, 100 Yen, every 10 min, until afternoon / evening) it takes 10-15 min to the Dormy Inn; the bus stops right opposite the hotel. There is a free hotel shuttle service to the station in the morning - as places are limited, make sure to get a seat. Hotel room windows can be open. The onsen on rooftop is very well kept. I enjoyed my stay, would come again.

I stayed here for one night last September. I came to Hirosaki to see the Apples and had a wonderful time visiting the apple park and seeing the Hirosaki castle and gardens. The hotel is walking distance to the gardens and the castle. They had fresh apple juice in the lobby and a free shuttle to the train station. Very convenient!!

Comfortable room & relaxing onsen”
We enjoyed our stay at the Dormy Inn but on the Agoda website, it said BREAKFAST INCLUDED. When we checked in, they said Breakfast is not included but is 1050 Yen extra per person. This was false advertising on the website and it took away from an almost perfect weekend.
