Comfortable and well priced.”

Good amenities on 13th floor. Easy to use laundry, free washing machine and inexpensive dryers. Free mini ice creams out side of onsen baths, and complimentry Yakult in the mornings. Interesting massage chairs.

Relaxing staycation that doesn't hurt the budget. Onsen is just around to unwind at the end of the day. Location's at downtown Hachinohe, convenient access to whatever just by a stones throw away.

Exceptional”

Bit far from the Hon Hachinohe JR station, but close to many nice eateries around (yokoucho) and the popular silver mackarel place. The massage chair on 13th floor is awesome; you get free ice cream too. The onsen is so zen (have hot and cold onsen). However, the bed / mattress is relatively small (just nice for 1pax)

Always decent”

Everybody knows the Dormy Inn is known for their amenities, and this one is no exception. With the exception of the pillows, they are hard and not comfortable. On site Onsen and relaxation area is nice. The hotel is located close to downtown just a couple minute walk from the hotel where you will find a large selection of Reasturant’s to satisfy anyone. Also several convience stores close by. The downside unlike other hotels when I checked in( late afternoon)I found the staff very cool and not friendly. I hope they were having an off day. And parking is limited and if you have a bike your forced to park without and cover from the weather.

Onsen and freebies are the best. Location is not good if you’re only travelling by train.”

Spent so much time on the onsen and sauna, I almost fainted ahahaha. The free ramen, ice pop and yogurt drink are much appreciated too. The location is good if you’re exploring hachinohe but if you’re travelling by train to aomori and hirosaki it is quite inconvenient. There is an hour interval on local trains and shinkansen too so plan your travel well if you want to stay at Hachinohe.

A great hotel in Hachinoe center”

I enjoyed this hotel twice in my travels to Hachinohe. It is close to the city center and to Hachinohe Yataimura Miroku Yokocho. (the streets lined with Yatai Izakaya stalls...However it is a 10-15 minute, slightly uphill walk from the nearest station which is Hon-Hachinohe. (The good news is the walk to the station is slightly downhill) As others have mentioned the free coffee and fresh apple juice in the lobby is great, though I never had a chance to try the "night noodles". Front desk staff was great and let me store my luggage before check-in. I would recommend getting a double room as it is slightly more luxurious than the single.

Great Location, Polite Staff. ”

I stayed in the Queen Bed Room which was the biggest room of 6/F. The room setting was good although it was around 20 m2. The Onsen is on the top floor which is real nice. The hotel locates in the main shopping and eating area. I fould everything I need in walking distance. Might be this was the point for the hotel to restrict car parked could only be allowed to go out after checking out. Staff was helpful and nice. The free udon at the night was delicious. I was enjoy in the staying.

Totally love the public onsen. The complimentary ringo juice in the afternoon and soba noodles at night are really nice touches offered by the hotel. Near amenities and museum so I love this hotel! Will stay again!

Takes 15min walk from 本八戶 station, but very convenient as just a straight line walk. Just a three min walk to 八戶橫丁, supermarket and department store.
