Excellent Hotel with Hot Spring and Near the Train Station”

The hotel has a parking lot adjacent to the building for those who are driving. The hotel is also located right next to the Izumo-shi Station (South Exit) for quick access to the train. The staff were very hospitable and spoke good English. Our room had two twin size beds with enough space to lay down our luggage. There is 1,200yen bathing fee for using the hot spring facilities located on the top floor of the hotel, but it was totally worth it. The (men's) hot spring has a changing room with lockers where you can store your clothes and valuables. Inside the bathing area are shower stalls for washing your body, a large sized rock-lined tub with 41°C/106°F soothing hot water, a smaller 18°C/64°F cold pool for cooling off your body, a sauna room, and an outdoor hot water tub lined for an open-air relaxing experience. There is a small bar/lounge next to the hot spring rooms, which the hotel offers free drinks in the evening. The hotel also gave us coupons for using at selected restaurants/shops which is always awesome. Overall this was a great hotel with comfortable accommodations and a built-in hot spring in the facilities. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Izumo again.

best dormy inn ”

dormy inn has always been my preferred choice while travelling in japan. this is the best so far in term of location, cleanliness, space, services. besides the free ramen, they also offer free beer from 7 to 9pm. due to covid19 , they cancel all buffet breakfast n make the refund . very kind gesture that they offer free simple soba during breakfast and this surprised me . must comment well on the proactive extra step taken my the management. as for parking, their charges is yen 900 and you can park nearby within 5min walk for yen 300 for those who drive.

The best hotel I have stayed so far in Japan for years. Room is better and better than average rooms in Japan, friendly staffs, English friendly reception. Great onsen experiences. They even have 1 free beer for each guest from 19:00 to 21:00, good choice to have after a hot onsen. They also provide half-size Ramen from 21:30-23:30. Free coffee all the time from coffee machine, although not many choices of coffee but more than enough. 4 free washing machine to use in the each onsen. ¥200 for dryer usage which is totally cheap! 1 minutes walk from Izumoshi JR station. Excellent location in Izumo.

Good hotel at near by station. If you wanna eat great morning breakfast I can recommend it ! 1500 yen for breakfast but it was really great . They had Japanese traditional way and western style too . Love it!!!

Great amenities: coffee bar, popsicles at the spa entrance, 20 hour access to the spa. Great breakfast, maid service. I think I'll always choose Dormy on future trips.

Wonderful! Clean, new and right outside Izumo Station. They have a wonderful hot spring bath and free ramen at night. I loved this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. Rooms are big and modern!!
