One of the top hotel in Kagoshima”

I booked a room of Dormy Inn Kagoshima for 2 days, and i was very satisfied by many kinds of services that the hotel gave me. Staffs are very kind and they always asked me whether i felt unconvenience. condition of Hot spring was always good, but available time is too short in the morning, because i usually want to take a shower after 10 o clock, but at that time, hot spring closed. But others are very satisfied. If I go to Kagoshima once again, I'm gonna reserve Dormy Inn Kagoshima once again happily.

Breakfast wasn’t that exciting as expected but that’s really much to cover all the traditional Japanese food. I think more variety of choice can be provided. More fruit should be provided too. And the time limit is better if can extend to 10:30AM. Because normally staff starts cleaning and not refilling from 0900am.

Staff is helpful and nice. Room is clean. Parking fee is $950yen per night (unlimited in & out from 3pm-11am each day). Breakfast quality is not bad but with limited choices. Excellent hotel at affordable price”

Hotel was nice in all aspects. Although it was located far away from JR Kagoshima Chuo station, it was easy to reach by city tram. Staff were extremely nice. They helped us to move the luggage directly to the room after we left our luggage before the check in time. When we were enjoying ice cream in the lobby, one of the staff even handed pieces of tissue to us. Highly appreciated. Onsen at the roof top was enjoyable. Free ramen with good taste was provided every night from 930pm to 1100pm. Most importantly, the hotel was at affordable price. This hotel well worthed its value. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and good facilities, but rude guest”

The hotel is 10/10 for the facilities while there is a public hot spring on the top floor for all the hotel guests. TV in your room could show the busyness of the hot spring and also the laundry inside the changing room, which is really useful for everyone. Warm and caring service. Professional instruction for parking and check-in, fluent-English speaking front desk staff. However some of the guests (mostly from Hong Kong) are rude, speaking loudly and screaming in the public area (especially in the hot spring), avoid going to the hot-spring between 2200-0100 if you want a quiet and relaxing environment.

love the hot spring so much, room is bigger than other hotel in japan. staff are polite and helpful. Just one thing that can be improved, the bathroom was a bit smelly.

Comfortable and convenient hotel to stay in Kagoshima”

My wife and I staid in Dormy Inn two nights in a triple room (308)with our 15 year old daughter. The room was large enough for us, the bathroom was quite big and well equipped. Staff kind and helpful, some of them speaking c’very well English. Japanese breakfast buffet was good and some westerns style dishes were available (eggs, yoghurt and pastries). Helpful and efficient staff in the restaurant. Nice location not far from the city center, museums and also from the ferries to Sakurajima or Yakushima (although we prefered a more comfortable and quick taxi ride ;). We recommend
