Not quiet ”
Good form the outside but inside you can't sleep, the dog is always barking, the kids are always yelling in the morning and not even an ac or a simple fan, so hot inside! I would not recommend

A big, beautiful and happy place in Almaty”
I stayed at Dostyk for 2 weeks and it was a sad time when I finally left (very reluctantly). This place is beautiful like a castle from the outside, but the inside is even better. When you enter you will be greeted by the wonderful Gulnaz, who will do anything she can to help you out (she also runs a family, she’s like superwoman really). Dinara, the other staff and the Kazakh guests are all so friendly and helpful, sharing their time, food and stories with you. I feel so lucky to have met some amazing people here. The rooms are spacious, comfortable beds and big lockers for storage. There is a big bathroom on each floor (3 floors) so you can always find one empty. There is a big kitchen downstairs, access to a washing machine and clothesline, tv, front yard and outside cooking facilities. 5 minutes or less away is Dostyk Avenue which is full of restaurants, supermarket, bus stops, exchange office, basically anything you need, but the hostel is still in a quiet area. Love this place !

Оказался в хостелей сразу по прилету в Алматы. Хозяйка приняла хорошо, все понравилось. Был даже бишбармак очень вкусный, домашний. Белье чистое, дают шкафчики индивидуальные, помогают с документами. Вообщем рекомендую.
