Great family place”
The pool is great it has a shallow side for small kids (about 18 inches) and a deeper side for bigger kids. (about 4 foot) The room is clean and vary big and the bathroom was good size also. the staff is great and vary accommodating. The food in the restaurant was really good and vary reasonably priced. we had 4 adults and 4 hungry kids in our group and dinner averaged 2,300 pesos and the breakfast buffet was good also. All a round Dotties is a great family place.

Our stay at dotties was amazing we visit twice a year,we go straight to the inland resort,I'm the head cleaner at the lakes resort in cairns Australia, now if I was to compare the inland resort with dotties ,dotties would win by a country mile,the staff are real close,but dotties would take first place for overall cleanliness ,will be coming back for sure

Have read some somewhat negative reviews of this place. I understand that those reviews may pre-date the renovation in 2019. This place is just exceptional value, in an excellent location, and professionally staffed. Our room was ideally located in that we could walk outside and be immediately in poolside lounge chairs. Room was just right, Bathroom maybe marginally less so. We ate three meals in the glassed in resto and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and portions. Beef dishes recommended. Breakfast 'buffet' was a solid pass but you can always order off the menu or go to any number of restaurants within a stone's throw. We stayed the night before at the Butuan Grand Palace and everyone in our party agreed that Dottie's was far superior, in a better location, and a bit cheaper.

Budget price but amazing pool and spacious room”
Dotties hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the two adjacent malls namely Gaisano and Robinsons mall... If you want to take a short stay with a superb pool you can plunge on it. Rooms are spacious. But ifyou have big luggage please ask the concerge or the receptionist that you will stay on the ground floor adjacentto the pool... Our flight going back to Manila was 9:00 pm so we asked the hotel administration if they could spare us Some hours for free...However, they refused and in fact they charged us half of the price of the room that we pay... Eventually, i would personally congratulate the security guard at that time for helping us finding a taxi or jeepney in spite of the heavy rains. He was really the gem of the hotel coz he was so kind and helpful... kudos to the hotel staffs for being courteous, and immediately to respond to their client’s need... In payer. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives eventhough its quite old compare to the othe hotels.

The place was good, though it was under renovation during our stay, it didnt hamper in our overall experience. The staff also was nice. The buffet breakfast was pretty good also, we just didnt know that we could request for different kind of "luto" for the egg as what was in the buffet table was boiled egg. Had we known, we could have requested for scrambled just like what we saw in the other table. The pool was also great, my niece enjoyed swimming!

Near to mall, hospital, pharmacies, fastfood and convenience store. Good for staycation. We stayed in a triple room, spacious but has very small cr and no mirror in the comfort room. Breakfast is good. Ambiance in the poolside is good. Frontdesk staff is very friendly ang accomodating.

My preferred place in Butuan”
The rooms are small, which is common in the tropics - living is done outdoors. Rooms have wifi and TV, the restaurant is not bad, and the breakfast buffet is quite good. It's easy walking distance from a major mall and a short ride by public transportation to city center. The lobby and public areas were tastefully designed and are well-maintained, it makes a good impression on visitors.
