My stay in London”
Being my last stay for my 2017 Europe trip, it is awesome to splurge ourself with Doubletree. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The room is slightly smaller than what i would have expect as there aren't really space where we can open up our suitcase, but it work just find. The room is clean and neatly presented. Location of the hotel is superb, it is walking distance to Metro (bus or train) and it is opposite express tesco that operate till late at night. It is filled with all the necessity without being in a busy town. It is just slightly a little far from the city. It took us an hour to transit to most of the places of interest. But overall, I am satisfied with my stay with Doubletree

I stayed double tree by Hilton Chelsea London about 10 days, the last day after I checked out , n want to hv a sim0le food at the lobby bar before i was leaving for airport, but waiter not allowed even I discussed with reception desk.

comfortable and good value”
I asked for a softer bed and was provided with a soft cover that was very comfortable. For London the room was quite spacious. Requests were promptly attended to. The hotel is only 2 minutes walk from Imperial Wharf railway station - however this is on an OVERLAND line and requires train changes to get there from the underground lines. A bit inconvenient, but this is probably reflected in the price. One has to ask for complimentary amenities.

Within working distance to imperial wharf station which can connect to metro for going to city easily and cheaply about 1 or 2pound. Comfortable clean and relax hotel. Staff are very professional. Was welcome with a warm cookie which is very nice. My wife's birthday was during my stay and the hotel was very attentive and nice which make us very presently surprised. They show some English league football at the bar.

Had a very nice weekend at this hotel. The only thing that was bad was that the bed was very small and short. Im just 182 cm but my feet was outside the bed. Otherwise the hotel was very good, and held a high standard.

Bad experience, unfriendly staff with exception”
Booked a room at the last minute for the kid to rest a few hours. Though I already received the confirmation from the hotel the staff was not informed yet. Eventually got a room and asked for a baby cot which arrived ...just at the time of our departure after we were told at least 5 times that it would arrive within minutes. We had a quick meal in the restaurant and put the bill on my room...however the waiter told us on a very unfriendly manner that that there was no money deposed on my room ...asked him to check again as gave my credit card as it is usual at the check in...I stop here as could continue for long.

Bad reception”
We had resevation for two double beds. The front clark (receptionist) said they have one double bed, and one single bed: and no other room was available. We stick to our reservation, and showed the print out and the electronic media we had with us. Then, after a quite sometime (going back and forth, that reminds me of new car purchase negotiations!), they had room available. What does it mean? To me, they wanted to do what ever they want, not what we paid for. Isn't it?

Situated at few meters from metro station, bus station, supermarket, the location is excellent. The neighberhood is beautifull and quiet (may be too quite, lacks animation and restaurants) Good breakfast. Cleaning service is really poor and disappointing: Sometimes they forget to clean the room at all unless you ask for it, and when they do clean the room, the quality is very poor (dust everywhere, coffee marks on the wall (was there from the begining)...

Xmas Holiday ”
There was a Duty Manager; Ms Angelayka, that was extremely courteous and kind. BUT the rest of the staff's were quite rude to Asians but very friendly to Europeans. Breakfast served was good but the same every morning. Bed and pillows were comfortable. But room condition was not as clean as expexted even though house keeping cleans it everyday. The shower area was badly clogged and is always flooded. 2 workers in the restaurant were extremely friendly and they made out family feel at home. Overall i can say its not too bad.

The toilet is dirty, they did not clean it up nicely. Even the bedsheet was not properly clean. Especially hair is all around..
