Excellent Room and Location!”
We made the right choice staying at this hotel for 2 nights before we travel to Paris by the Eurostar. 1) It was 8mins walk to Angel station. Only one station away from St Pancreas Station (to take Eurostar). But we chose to walk to St Pancreas (from our hotel) in the morning with our two luggages to enjoy the cold morning breeze. It took us only 15mins. Perfect. 2) 5mins walk down to the right of the hotel and you can find Tesco Express to get your chips or drinks. And if you are muslims like us, there's a halal kebab joint near Angel station. 3) Room was about 20sqm ( which is big compared to other hotel rooms near St Pancreas), spacious, clean and comfortable. 4) Friendly staff at the reception and we received welcome cookies. Warm and delicious. Overall we had a wonderful stay and definitely will be back! Thank you Doubletree by Hilton! The Lims

- Stayed for 5 nights - Location is safe and good - Easy to get bus and Uber - 5 minutes walk to angel station - Check in process was fast and smooth (thanks to the staff named Julia) - You can check in early if they have ready rooms (no any extra charges) - Complimentary cookies was given to each of us during check in - If you are a hilton honors members, they will give you hilton honors floor (3rd floor) - Parking is available for hotel guest but it will cost you 20 to 25 pounds per night. 15 minutes walk from the parking lot located at Upper Street. - You have to book one day early if you wish to have breakfast at the hotel for 12.50 pounds only. Otherwise the breakfast is 17pounds. - Room was clean and comfortable - Overall highly recommended

Good location. On the main bus route from Kings Cross (2 stops) and very close to Angel station (Northern Line). You can find nice bars and restaurants around, too. The hotel is clean, has plenty of room, and offers good food and drinks too. Perfect if you want to check out the main sights of the city.

The room was clean and the staff are really nice and polite. The location is good which only 2 minutes walk to the angel station. Also, We stored the luggage at the hotel after we checked out, this is a great services! I would recommend other guests to stay here!

Staff lovely-room clean. Room was very dark though as at the back/side of the hotel surrounded by similar height buildings. Should think the front facing rooms are great. Only a minor thing, wouldn't stop us staying again or recommending to others.

Loved staying here!!! So pleased I changed my mind from my original plan!! My friend and I stayed on the executive room which came with a cocktail hour between 6-8pm! Loved the room, the location and the staff were brilliant!!!

Overall stay was good. Rooms are clean and the beds were oh so comfortable. Minor details like bottled water and bedroom slippers are not available but can live without. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Solid hotel with great price!”
We chose DT Islington primarily because of its price. We wanted to stay in more central hotels, but they were too expensive for the popular summer travel week. When we arrived we were super happy with the location and all the accessibility around it. It is not in Central London, but with the Underground station 5 min walk and King's Cross a 10 min walk - a lot of London is at your finger tips. Islington itself is a true Londoner's neighborhood. It's not touristy at all. Has some great restaurants and coffee/juice shops.

Everything was basically good. We took King size room, which was fine and allowed us to get access to the executive lounge. Small meals are served in the morning and evenings, which is great- it is definitely sufficient for breakfast. They allow soft drinks and wine/bears in the evenings. Bed was comfortable, linen and towels of god quality. The sink was partially blocked and I wonder why the cleaners did not announce the maintenance. Not much interaction with the staff, because everything works with the room key, but they were very helpful. Location is OK. Not very central, but fine, not far from tube and buses. Close supermarkets and other shops. Price was fair for what we got- 160 US $ per night

Good hotel for your stay close to Kings Cross (Angel)”
I got a room in the older part of the hotel, which will be renovated as I understand it. Room was nice and modern, water pressure a bit low in the shower. Staff was good and the location is fine. Reason for me choosing this hotel was price. And for what I payed the value was good. The neighborhood have several food options, as do the hotel with a restaurant. Would stay here again.
