Beautiful view, amazing staff”

I stayed at Tenyu for one night. It's perfectly located with a magnificent view to the rocks in the sea. The public onsen has the same view. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. The hotel staff made my experience unforgettable. Mika is a lady who works at the hotel and she was super helpful with giving me information and making me feel welcome. She went an extra mile for that with a beautiful smile. The room was perfectly clean with welcome tea served both in the lobby and the room. I LOVED my stay and I would come back to this place. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great view, nice ryokan”

The ryokan has an amazing view, second to none (get an ocean view room). It's not just any ocean view; it has 3 rocks protruding right in front, making for a spectacular view. It also faces west, so you get an ocean view with a sunset! The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Osen is nice, and there is one outdoor onsen that also faces the same amazing view as the rooms with the ocean view. The food is great (and far too much, couldn't finish it most of the time) It is a little out of the way, but it's well worth the trip.

Hotel with a nice view”

We were there End December 2017, and had a friendly reception by the counter staff and they even took a family portrait against the famous island background; and presented it to us upon checkout. The Keiseki dinner was sumptuous and yummy too. The scenery around the hotel is superb, however; we were a little disappointed as the tide was not in out favor for us to cross over to the island. Probably we may have to visit this area around Spring season to view the wild flowers.

A good place to stay in Dogashima”

We were here only one night but enjoyed this hotel, and its Onsen overlooking the sea. One of us has some dietary allergies and we told the hotel about this before we arrived. They were very careful to serve us a beautiful meal which took account of these allergies, with no problems. Much appreciated.

Great View and nice service”

We were there early Jan 2018. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, but speak in Japanese only. The Keiseki dinner is yummy too. The hotel is facing West. You can get good view with a sunset and 3 rocks. Probably we may have to visit this area around Spring season to view the wild flowers. The location is a bit out of way.

很美好的住宿”

房間很大很乾淨，尤其海景超美，餐食也不錯，女湯的露天風呂景色好，聽說男湯的景被樹擋到，有點美中不足。旅遊書上記載堂島夕陽最美是在9月到3月間，我們3月1日入住，雖有看到夕陽，但不是染黃一整片天空。原計劃搭船去看天窗洞，也因潮汐高，而無法搭船出遊。
