everything here is done with care and they clearly built it with a lot of love. clean, very comfortable, had an ocean view with the most amazing sunset. close to a beautiful beach and some natural pools. quiet and peaceful. owners are very very nice people. good home cooked meal, amazing breakfast. basically our favorite stay in the whole of CV.

My most enjoyable stay in Ilha de Santiago”

Welcomed by Zeza’s (the owner) huge, sincere and warm smile, I felt almost like coming back home after a long time overseas!! The room was new and decorated with taste. The food was amazing. Zeza’s daughter, Gulieta, was here to help her mother as it was Christmas break, and she made my stay even more enjoyable. They both speak French pretty well and totally have hospitality running in their blood. The day after they even organised a young guide who took us to the beautiful natural pool 15 minutes away (on foot). If I had known this place would be so enjoyable, I would have stayed much more than just one night! Thanks again Zeza and Gulieta, I miss you already 😀❤️ Lovely family

Everything was great. The host is so nice. Very very helpful and is like a family. Cooked us great dinners. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed everything here. Great location, great apartment, great view. Nice beach nearby, one of the best.

Wonderful stayed, I enjoyed beeing situated 1km between piscina natural Cuba and Black Beach. All needed is there, beer, good breakfast and you can serve also dinner if you wish. Nice room and is cool seeing the ocean from window

The people are lovely. We had the best breakfasts ever, we also asked for lunch and it was delicious. Our room was comfortable, there was also a large living room with Netflix available. Walking distance to the black beach. Easy to reach Tarrafal using public transport (~15m).
The bathroom is not inside the room but next to it.

Fantastic stay and local experience”

Super friendly family and staff that are very helpful. Breakfast always was delicious and big. Dinner was great as well. Location is in a authentic village close to natural pool and a great black sandy beach where you'll most likely be all alone at.
Be aware that only local cards are accepted so as a tourist make sure to bring cash.

Fantastic host, fantastic place. Zeza and Ricardo are so helpfull, kind and lovely people that we decided to stay much longer in they place than though at first. Very good standard for good pqrice. We got nice room with big comfortable bed, private elegant bathroom, balcony, TV. Breakfast was included and it was very tasty and it was impossible to eat all of it. We also could relax in livingroom with huge sofa and big Smart TV with Netflix. Zeza is really great cook, so I recommend to ask for dinner too. You can get hommade meal as fish, octopus, tuna, beef and many more. About Ribera da Plata: if you are looking for really beautifull beach without tourist this is perfect place. Black smooth sand, clear water, viev to Fogo island with it's volcano on left and mountains on your right. Since april you can meet wild turtlles there. Lokal people are super nice, we will miss them for sure. Neighbours from village even invite us for baptism party, where was a lot of people, food and good energy. It is 15min by local mini bus from Tarrafal.
The only one bad think was we had to leave.
