Great Hotel”

Dunkeld House Hotel is a very well appointed hotel situated in a perfect location by the River Tay. We had a very relaxing weekend in a well appointed room. Would recommend a visit. Good food and pleasant staff and a great nights sleep. will be back.

Fabulous views, great location & great facilities”

The hotel offers fantastic views of the River Tay, it is located in extremely large grounds & offers great health spa facilities & outdoor pursuits like quad biking, clay pigeon shooting.. etc. On arrival at hotel when checking-in at reception, greeted to an unfriendly welcome. Later that evening restaurant staff were busy due to bookings over the Easter weekend & as a result had to wait over 90 minutes before we receiving our main course, staff did not come over to our table to explain the reason for the delay instead they avoided any communication with us. Eventually I spoke to the manager regards the delay & explained this was unacceptable. The manager apologised for the delay, explained the reason for the delay & removed the evening meal off the bill. Not a great start to the stay considering the hotel & staff had great reviews on the web. On day two we noticed service from the hotel staff to us in all different areas was a marked improvement & then we enjoyed our stay

I will certainly be back at this lovely Hotel and location!! Looked out of room window two. Deer munching away on some vegetation beside my car. I can't wait to go back was there for a great wedding stayed one night only but could easily have stayed for three nights!!

Used to visit the hotel often in the 1980s and90s but this was my first visit for 15 years. It was as good as I remembered but the service is a bit amateur in places and the blonde lady on reception badly needs some training on how to be professional and friendly!!

The food was amazing. Beautiful scenic location. Interior of hotel and rooms are 5 star since their recent upgrade. The spa couple do with a bit of an upgrade. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away.

Returning to Scotland after more than 10yrs absence. I have stayed many times in the past.”

I was a little disappointed in the evening as very busy and poor service. This I hasten to add was not the barman Anthony's fault who seemed to be doing everything nearly single handed but still with a smile. Thankfully did not detract from excellent food.
