        Great place to stay, like a boutique hotel !”

        The eagle & child is a really nice place to stay in Ramsbottom. The views from the dining area across Ramsbottom are beautiful. Emily & Alexis were really friendly & professional & nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful & very clean with little snacks, mince pies & drinks in the fridge.... all included in the price ! The breakfast was exceptional, fresh local produce, cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend.

        Fabulous place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent continental breakfast in a picnic hamper, delivered to the room. Beautiful room, comfy bed, amazing shower 👍 Best of all, the fantastic meal we had on Sunday night - it was my birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better treat! We will be back...❤️

        Fantastic and Friendly”

        From the second we arrived to the moment we left, I absolutely loved this place! Every member of staff was a pleasure to speak too, so polite and friendly, especially the 2 Jacobs and Joshua the Manager. Food was delicious and definitely one of the best Sunday lunches, we’ve had in years. Breakfast waiting outside our room in the morning was a really lovely touch and again all added to a great night away! I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely be back soon.

        We loved our room. Like the fact that there are nice toiletries in the bathroom. Good shower too. Always good to be offered fruit in the room and water etc in the fridge. Good to have fresh milk. I love the decor in the actual pub and the views are super. Great breakfast with a good range of offerings. The garden is fab.

        Having stayed at many five star hotels around the world we were more than surprised to find that the Eagle and Child ranks up there with the best. No attention to detail has been spared including complimentary Prosecco and snacks. The hotel must be ranked in the top ten boutique hotels in theUK.

        The only VERY small thing that could have been improved upon was the quality of the toilet roll. I am comparing this to other boutique hotels I have stayed in within this price range.

        Absolutely perfect place to stay for a a night (wanted to stay another it was so good but they were fully booked!) Staff are the most friendly and down to earth team, but the service was still amazing. Great food and drink and the room was so cosy.

        Very attentive and pleasant staff”

        Met by friendly helpful staff nothing too much trouble stayed one night but offered to get us a taxi , on arrival back to room one of staff came to help us work the coffee machine fire alarm went off and a card pushed under door apologising as false alarm then the icing on the cake was the delicious breakfast loads of wonderful choices would definitely recommend this place !!

        We where greeted after a very long road trip by two very friendly and helpful young man. The manager and bar man. They went out of their way Tim make us welcome We where able to have a lovely cooked supper even in lock down.

        This is a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous view. The decor is lovely - pretty little touches everywhere. Breakfast was superb and all the staff were warm and welcoming. We will absolutely return, for longer next time. Amazing value.
