A Wonderful Experience”
The staff here was very accommodating. They were very friendly and they always smile at us. They make sure that we feel comfortable in their place. The Japanese-style room that we stayed in was quite big for a couple - very spacious and I loved it! Everything in the room was in placed from toiletries to beddings, and welcome food and tea (we also got Yukata!) The view from our room was very nice. On top of these, the private onsen that we rented out for 50 minutes was a superb experience! Everything was great! I highly recommend this place, especially to those who want to experience traditional Japanese-style accommodation.

I love my stay in this hotel so much. The internet is fast. Room is Japanese style and very spacious. The bed is comfortable.It is very conveniently located to the train station. There is a bus going to Gala resort at the hotel entrance. The staffs are all so wonderful, made me feel so welcomed. I really enjoy the hideki dinner and the japanese style breakfast. There is onsen inside the hotel - private and public. Enjoyed that so much. I will definitely come back to this resort.

Superb experience ”
They know the way to provide hospitality with heart! My snowboarding binding was broken, instead of referring me to a retail shop nearby the hotel, they went extra mile and helped me to call and check and drove me to a local store for repair. Beautiful and spacious room, nice and clean Onsen, excellent service, a great bar inside the hotel for Japanese whisky and sake while playing table tennis, convenient location. It’s my second visit to this hotel and I am going to come back again!

Excellent location, interior and services”
The location is great, just few minutes walk from shinkansen station, also you can contact hotel to arrange free pick up services. And the hotel interior is excellent, they have prepared water shoes for guest to move around the town in snowy days. Moreover the services is outstanding! I have left my watch in the room during check out and realized when back to Tokyo. We have sent an email to the hotel and got reply immediately after they found it, and they have delivered to our home by courier within a week with perfect condition. Really appreciate!

Friendly, Clean and good location!”
We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. It is a few minutes walk from Echigo Yuzawa station. Room and bath are clean and the staff are very friendly. Dinner and breakfast are also great. Reception helped us to book rental ski and shuttle van, which was also nice.

Excellent staff and clean rooms”
Firstly I have to say, the level of hospitality at the hotel was superb! We were picked up from the train station promptly. When we arrived, we were given tea and some sweets and chocolates for the kids. We left our shoes at the guest area and are given some Japanese slippers/footwear to go to our room. The tatami mats were great, and the futon beds were comfortable. The location is near the ski lift area. When we were leaving, our packed food from a vendor has not arrived. (We were Muslim travellers and had some dietary restrictions). They offered to send it to us at the train station if it arrived in case we miss our train and they did it! We were so thankful for our stay there!

Lovely weekend getaway ”
Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay here. From the green tea that was provided during check-in, to the onsen and the delicious breakfast. It’s also conveniently located near the station and many restaurants. We would definitely go back again!

Pros: 1. Clean room 2. Huge room size 3. Meal is very authentic, u can try out different authentic japanese food. Kids like it 4. Staff very friendly and tried very best to communicate in English Overall good Ryonkan experience Cons: Not near to the ski place, so if need to go to other ski resort, need to take another bus to go up with specific schedule, one adult cost around 650 yen to naeba ski resort
