This place was absolutely perfect for us after completing the Abel Tasman for 4 days. Small family-owned lodge with great attention to detail. Stayed in room 3 which had AMAZING shower pressure. Loved the herb garden and the fresh fruit for guests. Breakfast was a nice touch! Very clean and peaceful. 5 minutes to Motueka town (smoking barrel burgers were fantastic!). Laundry service available and very nice communal area and tv room. Would 100% stay again and am going to recommend this lodge to fellow travellers and friends heading down this way!

Was nice to be upgraded but the cabin needed more attention to cleanliness. No comfortable seating in cabin. Dust on everything. Mould in shower, smoke detector removed in bedroom, benchtop not clean, past it sponge at sink, expired products in fridge, lots of crumbs in the drawers and an already used dirty tea towel. It was a shame that the gardens and pool/pond were so unkept. The common area was very well equipped and a pleasant space if you enjoy this type of holiday. Host was very friendly.

Me and my partner stayed there for a night, this place is such a nice and relaxing. Room was good and clean, kitchen was tidy and plenty of things on offer. We would be keen to stay there again if we come to Riwaka in the future.
