It is my second time in tokyo and I was disappointed with this hotel and service. First day the receptionist was not welcoming and she was not approachable. I paid $130 per night but to me it was only worth $90. Hotel was old and dirty. On our first night the fridge was not clean and still had food in there from previous people. Hotel has a laundry with only had 3 washing machines that was always occupied when I went to use it. Room is small which is expected in Japan but bed was comfortable and you can also control your own aircond which is good. Location wise it had 2 7/11 and family mart nearby also a subway within walking distance just 1min away. However from experience its better to stay at a hotel that has easy access to a subway and JR line. Because you end up wasting time changing lines and spending too much money on buying tickets. This hotel is only close to asakusa, ginza, tsukiji market. Every other attraction is on the other side which takes about 45min away via subway. I wouldn’t stay here again, I would stay in shinjuku.

Perfect location”

1 minute walk from the nearest exit from Tawaramachi station (Ginza line), 10 minutes walk from Kuramae station. Walking distance to Sensoji temple, great variety of food around hotel area (within 10 minutes walking distance). Nothing to complain about. Room is spacious according to Japan standard but they are very strict as the pillow is very tough and when we try to request for one additional pillow, they said surcharge applies. No water bottle provided on daily basis which I enjoyed in other hotels.

Nice, quiet hotel in Asakusa”

Hotel can be easily reached from either Tawaramachi station (2-mins walk) or Asakusa station (10-mins walk). Room was comfortable and clean though small. Standard toiletries incl slippers and room wear are provided. Walking distance to Asakusa’s main attractions and easy accessibility via Tokyo metro to other sites. If you request for early check-in, there is a charge of ¥1,000 per hour.. I will stay in this hotel the next time I visit Tokyo.

Very Bad-Not recommended”

I stayed there for 4 nights, though booked for 5 nights. Smallest Room in the world. Smallest bathroom. Not even sufficient space for keeping luggage inside the room. The Wardrobe is the smallest one in the planet where you can not keep any cloths at all. Bathroom is also very small.

very accessible and near transportation, food and sight seeing spots. friendly staff. they also provide wifi and internet enabled tablet for their guests to utilize and bring outside of the hotel to make navigation within the city easy and time efficient.

Very good hotel for Moslem Tourist”

Hotel location is super only few steps from Tawaramachi Metro Subway St. It is in the Ginza Line (Orange Line) that connect to most of Tokyo Most Visit Tourist Destination such as Asakusa (We can walk to Sensoji Temple from the hotel) , Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku and Ginza. I really love the bed and the pillow, very soft. Hotel provides all moslem's needs, such as Praying Mat and they serve moslem's friendly food for breakfast. Very thoughtful. Too bad I have no time to try the food as I always in a hurry every morning. What I don't like about the hotel is the room temperature, it is so warm i even sleep in sweat hahaha May be because outside weather is cold so the room is adapting so we can not adjust the air con, the staff hotel said that the room temperature is centralized so we can not adjust it

They are very close to Tawaramachi MRT station. It was easy to walk to Sensoji temple and shop around Asakusa. They are so convenient. Staff are polite and helpful. As I lost my baby trolley upon arrival and they help me to coordinate with airline. Room was clean and housekeeping change your used towel daily. We enjoyed stay here and would return if we have chance to visit Japan. Thank you Jolie

Very good Location... But be warned!!!”

I was quite disappointed with this hotel. I rarely complain about an accomodation especially in Japan. --- > The good points.... •••It is very close to Tawaramachi Station, so if you're carrying luggages it about 100 meters from the Eleveator Entrance Exit of the Station. •••The food if included in the breakfast is quite good especially the grilled chicken option. No buffet. •••The restaurant staff are very good and really attentive. ---> The bad points... ••• The hotel is really old, tell tale signs of deterioration everywhere, especially in the toilet/shower area. •••THE WORST PART!!! We found a cockroach nymph crawling on the side of my niece's pillow and that was when we just checked in. We managed to chase it away and swat it with a slipper. We mentioned it to the receptionist and she was really "shocked" and surprised. She did apologise, but that was it... No report. was taken, nothing. I just thought I couldn't be bothered to argue anymore....

Best value for solo travelers”

PROS ::: location, location, location! From the airport, it was an easy transfer all to Tawaramachi station and the hotel was a mere 2 minute walk. I had access to the Ginza line easily, and about 7mins walk is Asakusa station. Everything was nearby and quite accessible to supermarkets, 7-11 and Family Mart. The room was small, as expected of Japan, but I had the best view of the Tokyo Sky Tree at night. The laundry machine was perfect downstairs and the front desk was very nice. They even helped me book a table for nearby Nabezo and guided me on where I can buy a certain brand of eye drops. This hotel will be my new go-to place when in Tokyo. **tips for Tawaramachi station, there are elevators on both sides of platforms if you have luggage. CONS ::: None

A Good Place to Stay”

This is just a few walks away from Tawaramachi Station. Asakusa is also walking distance if you need to see more of the locals. Avail of their breakfast package. You have several choices and its worth the money already (not buffet). Kids 6 yrs old and below are free, older kids will be charged 1500yen per night no breakfast, so make sure to include all the headcount in your booking to avail of the best price. They provide portable android device that you can bring outside for your trip. They have a common microwave overn you can use. There is also pay per use washing machines in the hotel. There is a nearby Family Mart and 7-11. I rated 4-start for the Staff because not all staff are nice. There is one that I tried to avoid becuase she is the one who insisted to pay for the extra person (my child) during the checkin and wont even include the breakfast, she should be promoted as Manager.

Value to performance!”

I think this is cheapest full service hotel we ever stay in tokyo! Only sadly no bathub and room was still cold even we set aircon about 25C but real feel is 20C, we suspected that windows not insulated enough to prevent cold from outside.. Other than that everything was awesome!

Best location!”

Worth every penny! Has free smartphone service that you can bring outside. Also if you want to tether just pay 300yen /24 hours! Very cheap than renting wifi in airport! Only no bathub if you are looking for one.

Location, cleanliness and Halal food”

Location close to Tawaramachi on Ginza/Asakusa metro line, about 100metres away. It s easy to get the halal food nearby. The wireless is not strong enough, the room a bit warm as they got centralized aircond, we need to ask their staffs to open up a window.. .check out time needs to do on the time else you need to pay for 30mins late.

We stayed for 5 nights here at Agora Place, such a great location (150m from Tawaramachi Station - Ginza Line), close to Family Mart & Asakusa Don Quiijote. Yet, the room was too small and it doesn't have any soundproof so we could listen to our neighbour convo at night.

Check in and check out was a breeze. Staff are nice and approachable. Room was compact and small so it is not advisable for those bringing large luggage. Bethroom was clean and bed was comfy. They also have a phone inside the room you could bring out and use for internet. WIFI connection inside the room is strong enough for browsing. Location is very strategic with Family Mart and 7eleven nearby, train station is only a few blocks away.

Conveniently located near tawaramachi subway station ”

Location: good as it is very near the tawaramachi subway station. Walking to Asakusa JR station was pretty straight forward as well. Family mart, bakery and restaurants were walking distance from the place room: - clean w basic ammenties (hair dryer, toiletries, bedroom slippers, bathrobe) - there is a handy device that you can bring out to navigate around - the wifi signal strength may vary. During our first few nights the wifi was not as strong but when we came back to stay the 2nd time it was better Staff: They were friendly & nice. They gave us a free upgrade to let us stay in the same room for all 3 nights though we booked the wrong room type for the last night

Very simple but convientient ”

The location was very convenient. The place was just a minute walk away from the Ginza line, and around 5 minutes from the Oedo and Asakusa Line. Unlike other locations which are more lively, I found that this place is made for people who prefer a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Great location”

Pros: The hotel is very close to Tawaramachi metro station (Ginza line). Family Mart and 7-11 are a few steps away. It’s very convenient! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cons: It’s too dark inside the room and it’s a warm light, no cool light at all. I don’t like that because it’s hard to see things. There are some crack and mould in shower box. It’s dirty. Too many dust in room.

Wifi is very very weak, my first experience with eco-friendly room”

I booked the eco friendly room through Agoda, and I did not know that the eco-friendly room did not provides new toothbrush and shampoo. luckily I had brought a spare. The room provides a free portable andriod phone with 1TB data, allowing us to Tabelog for places to eat and provide better google map directions. Bed is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
