Great hotel in great location”
Understand this first: Japan hotels are small and the beds are hard. That is just a fact. So keeping this in mind, Akihabara Washington Hotel is a great Japanese hotel. It's right by the JR station but don't worry, you can't hear the trains, they won't keep you up. The rooms are clean and, while I wouldn't say super spacious, they are perfect for a traveler who needs a place to sleep, shower, and safely keep their luggage. The staff was awesome and kind and had everything all ready when I reserved a room though Agoda. We will definitely stay with Washington Hotel (or hotel Gracery) at any location again!

Amazing location and great service ”
Located very close to Akihabara station, this hotel is in the middle of everything you'd like to visit in Akiba. The rooms are a little small but that's average in Japan. The staff is very kind and multilingual so communication wasn't an issue. The hotel has nice rooms very clean with amazing views of Tokyo. It's a wonderful option to enjoy one of the most vibrant neighborhoods of the city. It's just a couple of stations from Tokyo Station and Akihabara station itself has many connections to JR trains like Yamanote line and subway stations.

Great location and large room size for Tokyo”
This hotel is an absolutely fabulous location for exploring Akihabara and the rest of Tokyo through the metro system. The rooms are large by comparison for Tokyo, and it is very quiet - excellent soundproofing. The breakfast is a bit expensive, but it is very high quality food with a large selection, I would recommend it if you are looking for a breakfast option. Room was very clean and the bathroom updated. All in all, this is a great base for a stay in Tokyo.

Just 2 min walk from Akihabara Station. Close to all locations via yamanote line. Just 35 min away from Haneda airport. Room comfortable size for couple with 2 luggages. Love the eco friendly concept. Halal curry house located just 10 min walk away. Will stay here again next time.

Well. if you are a gamer and like to shop in akihabara, this stay may be the best. It just beside JR station and a short walk from central gate exit from JR station. Because when your shopping and buying is a lot, is better you have your hotel room nearby which you no need to spend a lot money to store your loots since it is quite expensive. Room is a bit small but other than that all is good.Family mart is just nearby and located at opposite street. Definitely will come back to stay here again.

Convenient hotel”
Room is slightly bigger than the one across the road which we stayed night before checking into this hotel. Bed and foam pillows were comfortable. JR station just across the road. Room is clean. Only disappointment is that it only has standing shower no bathtub to soak in after a long day out.

A very good hotel with an excellent location”
No issue at all except they did not clean my cups just because I adopted their eco plan? That was a bit weird, but I took only 10 seconds to clean the cups myself. Aside that, everything was clean, neat, well-organized. The air-conditioning actually works as some of the Japanese hotels seem to have dummy controls for some mysterious reason. The water pressure is a bit disappointing, but manageable. I do recommend the hotel if you are a business traveler who has to work around Kanda or Akihabara.

My wife and I stayed two nights at the hotel. Apart from the location which is about few minutes walk from the station, everything about the place is wonderful. The hotel is spotless, and the service staff are wonderful. They even provide you with a map detailing the attractions around the area, as well as a smartphone which you can use to navigate around during your stay. Another draw is that they do have private rooms for the onsen experience. But do try to use the facilities before 8pm, before it starts to get crowded. If not, you may have to wait for a while for a private room to become available. Alternatively, there is always the public onsen for the less shy.

What an excellent place to stay in Tokyo!”
The room is very spacious & comes with a full-sized bathtub! Love the excellent location, just a 2-minute walk away from Akihabara JR station. It's right in the midst of the bustling Akihabara yet surprisingly quiet. We love it & will definitely stay in the hotel again!

Great location! Easy commuting. Nice hotel for low price”
Cannot beat location! I was recommended to stay here by my friend who lives in Tokyo due to ease of getting around and not wasting time navigating a large station. It is literally across the street from the small Akihabara Station. After stepping off train, you are at front door in 5 minutes. Rooms are larger than most in Japan at this price point. Staff are wonderful! I highly recommend and might book for a family member to stay here.

Great location, near public transit”
Train station was only 2 minutes walk from the hotel. There was 7 eleven, Lawson and other convenient stores making it a great location for tourists.

Excellent nonluxury hotel”
Location is great. If you plan to take train and subway around Tokyo, this is the place to stay. My friend lives in Tokyo amd recommended it. It’s across the street (a literal across the street) from Akihabara Station, which is a small convenient station. Bath products were nice. I usually don’t use hotel hair products and these were so nice. Staff is great. Checkout is easy.

Hotel very clean, great environment & english speaking staff. Very nice, they offer a free sign up for member & there is a benefit & point for next stay. Also 5 - 10mins walking distance to shopping district, food restaurant & Toy figure street.

Very convenient”
The hotel is very close to Akihabara station. It's also close to Radio Kaikan, one of the most popular place for manga, anime figurines, Azone, card collection. There's Denny's family restaurant next to the hotel, you can access to it through hotel elevator on level 2. I never had dinner there but the breakfast has a few choices and the menu is not like Denny's western version. I really enjoy the breakfast there. Definitely will stay here again if I need to stay near Akihabara.

Hotel is good but the room size was too far from website quoted as 21 sqm. Perhaps only half.”
Hotel has excellent breakfast and located right opposite to Akihabara JR Station. My only critic is that, through online booking, they always try to offer you the dead end corner room.
