Cleanest accommodation”

Very clean rooms. Kitchen area fantastic! Fill of all the utensils that you need.Staff really nice. Only 10 mins to beach. Gardens we're emaculate. Would definitely come back here. Only con was the pool needs a good scrub

Great Pool. Great Staff. Excellent Location”

Alona Swiss is a 5-minute walk from the main beach. This was perfect for us because we were close to loads of shops, restaurants and dive shops without being right in the most hectic part. There is also a really nice pool with lots of seating and the staff were the best we have encountered in a long time. We were upgraded to a bungalow with a kitchen and liked it so much we stayed an extra night. If you like local food Mylah Amabelle Lim Restaurant on the main road is the best, with good portions, low prices and tasty food.

Nice resort”

Nice room, good facilities. No restaurant on site and WIFI was weak. Coupled with bad signal on my globe, not a good situation. On the plus size, power went out and back up generator allowed all amenities to function, including AC

Comfortable ”

I requested a ground floor room, nice big room, but the bathroom is a bit small. The resort is down an alleyway but I found the venue nice and quiet, away from the road. The wildlife can be a bit noisy but that’s wildlife. 10 to 20 minutes walk to Alona Beach. Staff nice and friendly and the pool is a lovely.

Feel like Home”

We really appreciate the stay in Alona Swiss, worth the money and feel like home as you got everything you need.. My children stay in Bungalow and they have full kitchen facility which i did not expected. Walking distance to Alona Beach. Security is tight too. Would recommend to those with family members.

Great place with beautiful garden. Room was large and comfortable. Staff were helpful, but I hope they would be more friendly. Blanket was extremely thin that I thought it was a bedsheet. Location is good, less than 10 mins walk to Alona Beach.

Nice large apartment for family ”

Booked the 2 bedroom apartment as their was 5 of us. The apartment was clean and spacious. Living room with kitchen Was large and kitchen quite well equipt for cooking. Both bedroom were onsuit and comfortable. The swimming pool was great and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a good value property in a good location for shops and restaurants. The only negatives were wifi was shocking in the room but outside on balcony it worked a little better. The road to the property is a shared road and dirty. lots of rubbish and litter thrown everywhere. This of course is not the fault of the hotel but should be addressed. There is a nice bar in the hotel next door which you can use. Overall this is a very nice hotel. I would recommend for any traveller.

Good location but my money was stolen.”

It was so nice hotel! So big, clean and everything is perfect. However, I have lost my key inside of the resort near the swiming pool and then my money was stolen next day when I go outside. I don't know who took my money because there was no CCTV. Anyway, lock your bag whenever you go outside.

Huge rooms, beautiful pool, away from noisy part of Alona ”

Overall a beautiful resort; since the beach in Alona isn’t that nice, having a pool at the resort is great. The surroundings are kept clean. It’s about 10 minutes by foot to the beach, so it’s perfect if you like it quiet. It’s near convenience stores and restaurants, so you’re good. They have a kettle, free coffee and tea inside the room. Towels and toiletries (except toothbrushes) are provided. You get 2 bottles of water free. The mini fridge has water and beer for a fee - priced cheaply (40php for a pale Pilsen). The rooms have their own balcony and drying rack. The staff is accommodating. We arrived early in the morning so we went to the beach while waiting for our room. They kept our bags for us and texted Cons: The door to the room (#8) isn’t flush with the jamb, though, so it keeps making a sound whenever there’s a slight breeze. Can be easily fixed, though. The WiFi is really bad and doesn’t reach inside the room. Globe and Smart LTE don’t work well either.

Great little place to stay”

We had a great stay here for two nights in the 2 bedroom apartment. Freindly and helpful staff the place is only a 10 min walk to the beach and many resto's close by. The pool was good and the coffee was great. WIFI worked fine it's a very neat and tidy garden and pool area. Only one complaint is the lounge in the room was very uncomfortable. Would stay again

Nice hotel for the price”

The room is big, cozy and clean. The small pool is nice too but it was a little cold especially at night. Overall it was good my only complaint about this hotel was the staffs are not accommodating, we ask for a hot water for our coffee and it takes them almost 1 hour to provide it. Panglao beach is only a short walking distance.

value for money and staff were so helpful”

travel with family with one small child,the staff were so helpful cos i had to ask for 1 additional occupant as my other family member was staying in other hotel way toooo far from the alona center. they just agreed for an extra fee. and good also cos they have kitchen and place to cook specially if you frequently need hot water to make milk for babies.

It's so close to being incredible. ”

For the price of 25 USD per night you cannot complain about this hotel. It is a big room and close to the restaurants and beach. small patio where you can smoke was ideal. A couple of things I wish I had known before I got there. There is no bar only the rooms mini bar. Shame because the hotel round the corner does 99peso cocktails from 3pm. Ended up going there... just wish I could use their pool but thought that would be a bit cheeky. The pool here is good size but really cpuld use more attention in the morning. There were a lot of dead insects floating. Hey, I get it. It's to be expected in PH but I was up early enough to see the pool guy clean and it was a pretty shabby effort to really make a dent in the floating debris. No complimentary water, no shampoo and some basic soap. It's also stuck down a lane so need to really look for it and the lane can get a bit grimey as the dive shop dumps some funky stuff in it. My review score remains high because the things that are not perfect are not terrible. The hotel is at the upper end of the budget range for sure. Staff are pleasant as was the stay. NB. would be nice if you were presented with a checksheet/bill for the mini bar daily rather than just lumping everything and presenting it at checkout. Hard for customers to keep track or confirm if your bill is accurate.

Very Nice 2 Bed Apartment”

Alona Swiss is very well hidden behind Heritage Hotel in Tawala. Nice and peaceful most of the time there. We were pleasantly surprised with detail and quality for the price here. The pool was lovely and we found good facilities in the Apartment. Wi-Fi was up and down a bit but OK. It was nice to see that the kitchenette was properly equipped and that water was supplied for us. Plenty of Cable channels and an excellent Air Con in both bedrooms. It is only a 10 minute stroll to Alona White Beach and for the price I think it is very well located. The next time we visit Bohol we will return here. Very Nice. I rate this hotel 4.8 out of 5.

We really appreciate the resort. The two bedroom apartment is quite big with complete facilities for cooking and yet the price is very affordable, very appropriate for those with limited budget. Though the resort is about 7-15 minutes walk (depending on the pace) from Alona Beach, the resort is quiet and private. The resort even provided ropes per room to hang wet clothes. The staff are all accommodating and helpful. We were more than satisfied with our staff.

great place to relax”

The staff are friendly and the place is clean and well maintained. The place is perfect for relaxing and the kids love the pool. What we really love is that we can cook our food and they have complete kitchen utensils.Well recommended^_^

Feels Like Our Home Away From Home”

It's our second stay in Alona Swiss Resort. I actually enjoy the few minutes walk to and from Alona Beach. I love the rich garden in front of our room, including the sound of the Bamboo plant. We probably will stay again.

Relaxing vacation”

The resort is a little bit far from the beach. You have to walk to the main road to get tricycle to bring you to the beach that would cost about Php 50. Walking would take about 15-20 minutes. The resort is nice and quite. The standard rooms are large and clean. You have a balcony where you can smoke or dry your clothes. The garden is beautiful with a nice pool. We had a pleasant stay. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend the resort if you want and quite and relaxing vacation. The place is very ideal for family vacation. Thank you for pleasant and relaxing accommodation.

Great Small Resort in Center of Tourist Area”

Found this resort on Agoda and enjoyed my stay. Took 2 BR Suite and they have stocked everything you need to stay, kitchen necessities and cook=top, even water all supplied. It is in nice quiet spot very close to everything and few min walk to the beach. Highly recommend.
