ANA Intercontinental in Minato-Ku-Ku, Tokyo is an excellent hotel, next to Tokyo subway station Tameike-Sanno and is very clean. The rooms are spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a wide variety of well prepared food.

Brief stay for one night at this hotel. All was impeccable from check-in till check-out with friendly and efficient staff . Main buffet is excellent and warm restaurants propose different styles of dishes. The only point is that beside everything is very clean and properly taken after, decoration needs to be modernized with current taste and fashion.

Wonderful rooms, we were upgraded as it was our little pre honeymoon / engagement trip, and our room was just amazing, not super big, but beautiful view, and layout just so smart and cozy! coming back thats for sure!! Thanks Intercont!

Grand Dame of Tokyo”

Second stay at the ANA Intercon Tokyo. Always lovely to return and the buffet breakfast is something to look forward to. Excellent choices. Good pool of staff, from front desk to the restaurant section. Keep up the good work.

Exceptional”

Stayed there for 6 nights with a group of 5 adults. From check in to check out, the staff took great care of us. Rooms were clean. Pillows & mattress were the best we've experienced thus far. Metro station nearby. Taxis aplenty.

Great value and location”

The ANA Intercontinental is really a tale of two stories. The Pros. The location is unbeatable within 10 min walk to 4 subway stations with access to many different lines to get around the city. It is conveniently located to bustling restaurant / nightlife hubs of Roppongi and Akasaka. Also it is connected to a commercial complex called Ark Hills which has about 10-15 restaurant options. The food we experienced was limited to the breakfast buffet and a Japanese breakfast but we thought both were high quality. The facilities are great, including a nice gym which is also well appointed, a few shops within the hotel (eg pastry shop and a cigar store), and a nice bar on the top floor. Lastly, the price was fantastic for the Christmas period. Frankly it was the best 4.5 Star hotel we could find for the price. The cons boil down to 2 things: the room quality (presumably only non-club floors?) is really not great; more similar to a 3.5 Star. Also front desk staff was slow.

ANA InterContinental: worthy of its 5-star rating”

I made the right decision in choosing ANA InterContinental Tokyo. Its personnel are commendable for their courtesy and efficiency. It offers excellent housekeeping with ample daily replenishment of toiletries. It likewise have a number of fine restaurants.

First time in Tokyo”

It was a good stay with very decent crowd, mainly business travellers as this hotel provides corporate rate for most big MNCs. The breakfast served was good and the staffs at the buffet restaurant were kind and attentive.

A nice hotel but pricey”

This is a good standard international hotel. Large and good for conferences. Staff are very good, rooms can be small but I had a good size room and very pleased with the staff and service. not a cheap option

Professional staff and friendly service”

The hotel is actually a far walk (400 metres to 1 kilometre depending on which line) from the train platform, despite the subway exit being very close to the hotel, so it is not very convenient to reach the hotel by public transport if you are coming from the airport with a lot of luggage. Service at the hotel was remarkable. Hotel staff made us feel very welcome. There are a lot of fine quality restaurants in the hotel. Downside is there is no free drinking water in the room, which is what I would have expected in a five star hotel. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Good interntional hotel, a good base to visit”

I stayed there two nights on a weekend, back from a skiing trip in Nagano region. It is a conventional international hotel with large and comfortable rooms and plenty of choice of restaurants. Not much surprise here. We found it to be a good value option, with easy access to Ropponggi area, which offers plenty of restaurants and nightlife options. It is also a central location to discover Tokyo with easy access to the public transportation. Overall a comfortable option without much charm but easy.

Pleasant city stay”

The Priority counter for Prestige card holders was manned by a staff who was not up to the basic customer service standards, and fumbled with our reservation that had been manually changed somehow. This made for an unpleasant welcome and a wait for 30 minutes in the lobby with our young children. Some of the managers were obnoxious and clearly kinder with business guests than holiday ones like us. However, the hotel is a world class business hotel that we enjoyed and would go back to.

A true 5 star hotel with all the facilities”

this is an excellent hotel for business travellers. similar to intercontinental hotels in other major cities, this hotel provide a very good service and fast, checking in and out is just a few minute. the location of the hotel is convinient as metro station is right infront of the hotel. alsothe airport bus drop you right at the door

Great location, great service! ”

Great location train stations, Ropoongi entertainment district, restaurants. In a very international part of Tokyo. Easy access to all of Central Tokyo. English speaking staff so very easy to communicate. Wonderful service. Great rooms (should be for the price).

Five Stars with drawbacks”

Everything was of the very best, but the room we had was quite small. We were shocked at the prices of food and drink, even though we are not budget travellers. For example, we had to pay each for a very slender continental breajfast For a cup of coffee and one small pastry at afternoon tea we were charged per person. We were able to each much more cheaply and agreeably outside the hotel in the Akasaka district - not known for its budget restaurants.

The gym is well equipped. Business Centre is somewhat neglected though. The room is small but comfortable. Bed is comfortable, definitely good for hectic business traveller.

Very solid business trip hotel...”

Breakfast and lunch buffets were very good and moderately priced... Concierge staff was very knowledgeable and proactively helpful. Convenient airport bus which leaves directly downstairs from the hotel is a great alternative to the standard airport commute. Central location provided easy access to a number of great neighborhoods... Only drawback was the ridiculously long walk to the actual train once you enter the metro stop, which is advertised as being right next to the hotel.

Great Location, Great service, excellent value...!”

We had 3 days of business and 3 days of leisure in Tokyo over the New year period, we enjoyed the ANA InterContinental for good value in general, except for the Food & Beverage. Internet was great in the room, TV was a bit average but we didnt expect much in the way of in-room entertainment in english. Location was awesome. Concierge team were very good at giving advice in general but need to learn more about the tours they recommend or make bookings for, we went on Mt Fuji tour - the "inclusive lunch" for additional Y2,000 was a complete bust, tiny meal, not tasty and not good service.. better to go without, most on our tour just ignored it and bought take-away at the next stop...
