Usual hotel in Japan are small but complete. The hotel location though is superb because Keisei train is just across coming from Narita is a breeze. It’s also near the JR trains which stops at most tourist spots. Checking out was fast if you have no issue.

Aside from a tricky books ready at the room, everything else was super. It is literally 30 seconds away from Keisei-Ueno station so if you are traveller who does not want to roll your heavy baggage for 5 to 10 minutes only to check-in at your hotel, this is the hotel.

Unsecure hotel & unprofesional management”

17/7/19 I found my room was open (unlocked) . HK make up room she 4got locked my room. I asked housekeeper , she asked appologize 4 her fault . I told receptionist & ask to meet manager & complaint form (or whatever they have). Manager didn’t see me & for the form was in a room. Can u imagine how unsecure guest if the room unlocked (open)? If something lost who will responsible on it ?

Small but comfort and excellent location”

The room is small as same as another hotel in Tokyo, but comfort with the facilities. The excellent point of this hotel is the location. It's opposite Keisei-Ueno station with a little Family Mart inside the station, and some stores near the hotel. You can walk to Shinobazu Pond (with a lake), Ueno Park, Ueno station and Ameyoko market in just 3-5 mins.

Convenient location close to transport and amenities, helpful accommodating staff”

The conveniently close to the train station making trips on subway, JR and Shinkansen relatively easy with or without luggage. The nearby markets are fun to walk through and offers a great selection of foods and souvenirs. The staff were very helpful and conversed in English quite well. The rooms are clean and tidy but small and therefore do not accommodate loads of luggage so keep that in mind if you pack heavy, though the hotel does offer some storage

Great location not much else”

Location is excellent however hotel needs a makeover. Pillows are worst - about as thick as a newspaper and beds are old as well.. Id go elsewhere for breakfast. Rooms very small.

Convenient”

Tiny room as expected in Tokyo, not much room for opening our suitcases. But the location is so convenient, just opposite of Skyliner Ueno station and walk around 10mins to metro station. The staffs are nice and helpful.

Great location”

The hotel is in an excellent location, just outside of the exit of the Ueno station of Keisei Main Line/Skyliner, making it easy to get to/from Narita airport. It is also connected to the Ueno metro station and JR station so it's a breeze to get around the city. There were plenty of food options and convenience stores within walking distance. The room was tiny, especially the bathroom. Room cleaning services were inconsistent throughout my 4 nights there. There were stains in my coffee cup and no bottled water on my first night. Then I got 2 bottles on the second night, 1 bottle on the third night and none on my last night. The bed was also very soft, making it difficult to get in and out of bed.

Preferred option in Tokyo”

Ueno is great, the hotel itself as well. If you are catching an early flight out of NRT but prefers to stay in the city, this one would be a great choice as you are literally 50 meters away from where you catch a Skyliner

Good value for Ueno”

Ueno is my preferred stay in Tokyo, easy access to Skyliner and Yamanote. APA offers stable quality and this one is no exception. Room size is what you get in Tokyo. Walking distance to a whole lotta restaurants, decent ones that is!

Great hotel for a short stay”

This is our second time at this hotel and we enjoyed it more than last time as we didn’t stay as long.Because of the room being so tiny you can’t spend any time at all inside and there is no lobby downstairs but it is very conveniently located in a busy area of Tokyo,next to a charming park and a pond ,there are many places you can go like shops, restaurants and markets within a few meters away.

Just walk 1 minute to Keisei Station using skyline train to Narita Airport easily. Also close to Ueno Station. Microwave and ice maker are at 2nd floor. Nearby food & convenient stores. I will be back here again if I come Tokyo for leisure.

Very near the Ueno station and Shinobazu Park”

I can assure you that this hotel does not come in cheap but it is very convenient and it is at an area where noise is at a minimum. We deposited our luggage near the hotel for a week and really was very happy with the service. APA rooms are smaller so you have to be prepared.

Super Location and Super Convenient”

This hotel located just 1 minutes from the Narita airport direct train station. And its located at Ueno, a very happening area of Tokyo with lower cost if comparing to others parts of Tokyo. Hotel also super near to Tokto Metro and JR train station. Just 5 minutes walking. All foods and convenient stores are all nearby.

Very good location”

Location is very good, very near to the station, especially keisei line to Narita airport. The room is small but normal size for hotel in the big city in Japan. Air condition system is set by hotel, I cannot change mode from heater to cool in autumn, open a window is the only way.

A good business hotel.”

Aside from controversial book selection in the room, everthing else was beyond good. It is a bit funny that majority of the travellers who uses this hotel is Korean or Chinese who may feel quite bizarre if they pay a little bit more attention to detail. However, if you do not care of it, this hotel is a great hotel with super quick access to the express train from/to Narita so that you can just start doing your business or trp immediately. Not to mention that it is literallly a part of the big Ueno park, also close to Todai.
