Would definitely come back”

Super kind staffs, gourmet dining, can't take my eyes off the scenery of the ocean, lovely relaxing massage, I can still feel the warm crispy ocean breeze when I close my eyes, it was a short trip this time but will stay more than 3nights next time. and I recommend to stay at least 3nights. So much to do. beautiful snorkeling, watching amazing corals with uncountable beautiful fish under the crystal water. I felt like being a mermaid. I love this resort the most of my Cebu trip!!!

Diving trip”

Blue Star Dive Resort is an amazing place to stay, the staff are friendly and always smiling while being super attentive to anything you may need. The food is amazing and pizza night was super good and really tasty!!! My personal favourite was the mango shake, of which i was having about 3 a day!! The diving is also completed in a very professional, fun and friendly way with many great locations just off shore ready for you to explore. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely return here if im in this location again!!

the hotel is about 1.5h away from the bohol airport, in the quiet area of anda. facility wise: jacuzi, swimming pool, pool table. lobby and eating area taking great advantage of the fantastic view. rooms were clean, well maintained. no aircon in the room though. staff was polite, well informed, attentive and discreet. hotel food, if priced above local standards (at about us$ 10-15/meal) was excellent. reason to go (and come back): one of the most astonishing views in bohol. on the edge of a small cliff over the beautiful sea. for divers and snorkelers: hotels is very well equipped. equipment rental is painless and cost effective. the house reef itself is a sort swim away. caves, corals; tons of nudibranches, star fishes and other frogfishes/lion fishes await you. also excellent for snorkeling as the house reef is 50m away from the hotel. on the low side: enjoying the local filipino food was a little difficult as the local villages have very little choice in terms of eateries. that would be the only small negative point. i would also not recommend the place for party goers. this is a great quiet area, lost in the bohol nature & local villages. wonderful, wonderful place. the perfect quiet retreat.i will definitely be back. p-a

Great, quiet resort and nice diving ”

We stayed for seven nights at Blue Star and had an amazing time. The resort is a little out of ways, you need to be aware there is not much around. Simply walking to the nearest restaurants is not possible. However, the hotel organizes a tricycle for you. The small but well managed dive shop within the resort offers very nice diving at quiet and beautiful spots. Richard is a great guide - thanks for some beautiful and relaxed dives! The whole resort is well maintained and staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a variety of international as well as some local food. Don't expect anything fancy, but we had good food and drinks throughout our whole stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a great view of the ocean. Overall, we loved our stay here and can definetely recommend the resort as well as the dive shop!

Dive shop is top notch!”

My mom and I were on vacation and chose this place because I heard Anda is amazing for diving, so we wanted a resort that specialized in diving. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Mick, the dive instructor, is one of the most charming, open-minded, and veteran divers I've ever met (over 17,000 dives over a 40-year career!). Anda is hands down one of the most beautiful places I've been to in the Philippines and staff here made our stay exceptional. I'll be recommending this place to friends for sure!

Resort in age but still nice ”

It’s a resort in age. But it’s still nice. The room (pool view) is big. The bed is great. Included breakfast is ok the juice is just concentrate, would expect real juice for this price. Pizza, pasta and sandwiches are good and normal price for western food. Stuff is friendly. The rental price for snorkel gear is so expensive, we get on other places a whole day tour for this price. Rent snorkel gear in town. Laundry is expensive as well. You get in town for much much Cheaper. All in one you fell good but the price is to much.

Thought the room we booked was air conditioned. (3pax) But still it was very cool and windy even with just a stand fan. The fan had no match with the strong wind considering resort is on a cliff side about 150 feet above the sea level. The room was great and had enough room even for 5 or 6 people. The site is very quiet - a perfect place to relax and unwind. No Videoke in the surroundings which is great. Their breakfast menu (plated) is good and worth the money. But would be better if they have a buffet option. A bit far from the town proper (Anda). You can request a local tricycle to pick you up and arrange with the driver should you need transport to the Vhire Terminal if you need to travel back to Tagbilaran - But go to Guindulman town instead. Php 150 per tricycle trip.

Персонал очень приветливый и всегда был готов помочь. Обязательно попробуйте дайвинг, риф невероятно красивый, инструктор хороший, не выпускал нас под водой из рук в прямом смысле слова :) С интернетом конечно проблемы, работал перебоями, но в таком месте ты забываешь об этом.

My children enjoyed a lot, they were having fun. The place was clean, especially the rooms. The swimming was clean also and the water was clear. The staff are very hospitable. The place is quite and peaceful. The breakfast was great. It was plenty and well cooked.

Great diving!”

We made a last minute decision to stay at Blue Star and didn't regret it. The diving is excellent - fantastic house reef and lots of great nearby dive sites. We managed to get a decent photo of mandarin fish mating! Rooms are fairly modern - not the best, but perfectly clean and comfortable. Food is okay - similar to other hotel food we are in the phillipines. :)

Awesome Stay”

No regrets! The very first info I checked prior to booking our stay was the wifi, since my husband and I were on working holiday mode. It was fast and stable! We aren't divers, but we're always up for good reviews, thus, we booked them! Their food was awesome - big serving and delicious! It was a sweet surprise after knowing that we can also visit their sister company, Anda White Beach Resort, all for FREE (except for the transpo going there)!!! Free use of their swimming pool and you can relax at the beach with its breathtaking view. Not to mention their swimming pools (both in Blue Star and Anda White) are well-maintained. The rooms are clean and spacious. Their employees are courteous; always smiling - always ready to assist. We had an awesome stay! I highly recommend this resort and we'll definitely come back! :)

Wonderful stay at Blue Star”

We had a wonderful stay here at blue star. Staff is super kind, always trying to help. Thank you to the reception and diner team, you made our stay perfect. Included breakfasts were copious and very good, they adapted to what you wanted even though not really on the menu... food was generally good and not expensive. Thank you also to the crew and divemaster Jam for the great diving. The reef and wall dives are beautiful, lots of turtle at the home reef, which can be seen whilst snorkelling too. I can't recommend this place enough, and Anda if a great part of Bohol if you want to flee the tourists of Alona.

Relaxing stay but with an optional adventure”

The place was very exclusive which was good for people who would like to be away from it all. If you like to be closer to the sea this is very good place because of the nearby reefs and dive spots. There is no beach though but for me the resort has all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay

Wonderful quiet vacation”

We stayed 3 days there and everything was wonderful. Best thing about this place is quiet and fantastic view. We didn't dive but should be great place for diver too. Food was not the best but pretty good. We stayed at pool view but it was facing ocean too so view was just fantastic. Location would be a little bit annoying but if you use hotel's pickup service it should be fine(but expensive) Only complaint about our exprience would be no water problem we had couple of times(no water all of sudden) Overall, It was so good and I will definitely come back later

Lovely stay off the beaten track”

we had he chance to try out two completely different rooms and both charmed us. The newer bungalows with the seaview make you feel on top of the world. Staff was great, people were friendly. Hotel is in an area without tourists and gives an excellent excuse to just let your mind wander and relax. Also in good distance from the Chocolate Hills. Greatly recommend!

Best cottage for soft coral snorkelling”

I enjoyed snorkelling three times at reef in front of hotel. There are abundant of so beautiful soft corals and fishes. 'Habagat'of south wind blow has already started. Sea surface,there was somehow choppy wave pushing to sea shore and it was required to be careful to land on the steps from the hotel at the time of high tide because wavy water often hits the concrete steps. Restaurant has splendid view of ocean and moon. Food is OK. We got good pasta, philippino dishes and good original dessert. Room is neat and clean. I chose no air-con room but it was not hot because of good breeze from sea and monuntain. We heard cry of gekko at night and whistle of birds in the morning. Somehow like a camping cottage with full of nature. Take a bukket from reception because toillete flush is not enough. Staffs are very attentive and friendly with smile and greeting. fantastic setting, nice rooms”

nice setting an rooms, unfortunately a little off with a very small but beautiful beach; probably not ideal if you don't want to dive or snorkel; offers a pretty little pool; rooms are spaceious (didn't see the cottages) and very clean, but not very beautifully designed; in house restaurant offers decent foods but nothing that blows your mind - also it's rather pricy and there are few alternatives and or / nightlife around it seems! WiFi at the club house but not very reliable definitely great for any diving related activity (as the name suggests)

Since we decided to spend a few days in Boracay after Bohol, so we chose Blue Star Dive in Anda instead of Alona beach, a bit far away from the noisy crowd, but just what we expected for a quiet and relaxing vacation. I'm travelling with an elderly and a child, and the resort offers everything we needed for the 3 of us -- a fantastic view to enjoy especially in early morning for my mother, a lovely pool and a jacuzzi for my daughter, and all day diving fun for adults. We also booked road trips to the Chocolate Hill, Loboc River and Lamanoc Island through the resort, and the services were simply surperb!
