Not bad ”
Room is very small but good enough for few days stay. Spa room quite big, we went in the morning, no people. Location quite a distance from train station, about 15min walk with luggage. Not easy to find. Overall stay is nice.

The hotel is perfectly located in a very vivid neighborhood but a bit noisy. The spa isn't an Onsen but a jacuzzi. It is very loud, busy and not perfectly clean. There is only one massage chair. The staff is nice.

First & most importantly - there r several Centurion Hotels/Locations near the Ueno Stn. Be careful when bookng. Ours was the Centurion Hotel & Spa. Public Bath, Sauna and Cold Splash Pool available, Men & Women separate. Our room had a furo located on a lanai. It was entirely closed off w/ bamboo walls (even the top). Very nice with a sitting area (2 chairs & small table). Could have seated 4-6 people, to just hang out, and if you could find chairs LOL! The furo was deep but narrow. I am a small 4'9" & it was a little cramped for my legs. My husband is 5'6" & he was totally cramped & used the regular tub in the bathroom so he could stretch out. But you can't beat the outside ambiance. Difficult to enter/exit as you needed to step all the way down into the furo. No steps. We had a twin deluxe room. The size was american size, 602 was larger than 601. The lowest price rooms, 605, 502, doubles, were really cramped. Close to the zoo & muesums & shopping & restaurants.

Excellent location, nice, clean and safe facility, helpful and friendly staff. We were a family of 4, with kids age 13 and 10 and had a “cabin room” with 2 bunk beds. The one drawback is that the room was VERY small. It basically had the 2 bunk beds and a small desk. No seating area or closet, no room for suitcases. We all had one suitcase so we kept it at the end of our mattress and slept curled up. There was about a 2 foot by 5 foot area between the beds and desk, then maybe a 4 foot by 6 foot space when you enter the room, which is unusable for storing anything since the door to the room and bathroom open into that area. We would definitely stay here next time, but get a different room. Some hotels in Japan have tv’s that can be dubbed in English, this one didn’t, so all tv was in Japanese. But just watching some of the crazy shows they have was entertaining even not being able to understand what they were saying!

Great front desk staff, clean and spacious (for location and price) room, excellent location in many ways - including within a 15 second walk to a Kuroneko location (handy for shipping luggage to airport, etc.) The only issue was that the battery had a sewer smell.

Hotel situated walking distance to Ueno station & in the center of eatery & shopping areas. Spa was nice & clean, but room was so small & with airport type bathroom. Loss room key will cost u ¥3000 (👎). No bottle of water provided. Staff was nice but unlimited with English.

Tip #1: Request for the main building as laundry room, onsen bathe and reception are there. The annex is not sheltered too. Tip #2: Do not stay here if you are a light sleeper like me. Partition between room is thin and you can hear annoying people talking loudly even at 1am. In the morning at 5am, you can hear people slamming their doors to check-out. Tip #3: If you request for room cleaning service, they will not give you bottled water. They will advice you to drink from the tap. They will give you bottled water if you asked for change of towels only without room cleaning.

Great hotel but location isn’t ideal”
I have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. From the staff to the facilities it’s was all great. My only complaint is the area. The hotel is located in a very busy neighborhood with lots of pachinko clubs, massage parlors, adult VR experiences, restaurants, stores, etc. with all the noise that comes with it. It is very convenient but if you want a more peaceful stay you might want to keep looking.

Great location, short walk from the train station that takes you directly to Narita Airport. Rooms are small as typical of Japanese hotels, but they are cleaned everyday. Towels and bottled water replenished daily. Hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants and convenience stores

We had a double room with a sofa bed for three adults so that it was smaller than our expectation from the sample photos. No wardrobe at all. Not even enough hangers for clothes! However, it is Toyko and it is acceptable. The hotel has a laundry room including a washer and dryer. It is convenient. The location is great and very central, close to JR/Metro station. Food is everywhere! Love to stay again.

The rooms are smallish and there is little space for luggages and a lack of wardrobe to hang our clothes and jackets. Other than that, the location is good with plenty of entertainment and dining options nearby.

Good location. Facility is full optioned but price is quite expensive ( we have a 10 years kid and this hotel is count to be adult. The other hotels are count and a child and pay half price for breakfast.

Spring is good ”
The room is not email ( compare with other hotel room with same pricing), the spring is nice but it locates in the building opposite to mine. It’s a little bit inconvenient because i need to take elevator and walked on the street and then enter another building and take elevator to my room. But it’s not a big deal, 2 building is just 10m apart.

The room is clean and nice but a bit small for family with young children. Good location for transportation, shopping and eating even after midnight. Very nice staffs and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again if we are in Ueno.

they didn't clean my room properly when I put the regular cleaning sign on the door instead of the eco-cleaning sign. breakfast also sucks and there is always the lingering smell of cigarette smoke due to its location.

The room is clean, Onsen is good but the facilities is too less such as hair dryer , no comb and brush. The breakfast is good. The location is the best, in the middle of Ameyoka, not far from JR Ueno, Kiese Sky Liner and Takeya for shopping.
