Pros & Cons of Chiisai Natsu”

Pros : • Secluded, peaceful and amazing view of a luscious mountain in front of this resort. • Clean and cute swimming pool • Staff are friendly and courteous • An affordable hotel with inclusion of breakfast which adds value to the room you pay Cons : • Found 2 cockroaches in the room • Toilet bowl flush is defective. Good thing we have a connecting room. • Faucet's water pressure is a bit low which causes delay in washing your face or when brushing your teeth. • A big deal for me is - No complimentary water for the 2nd and so on day. The two water bottles inside the ref has a charge which I only knew by surprise when checking out. • A bit pricey tricycle price for riding going to Alona Beach (100 php) or to any other places. Taking aside these cons, I would say we still had a good overall experience with Chiisai Natsu because of the luscious green scenery and quiet relaxing environment it provides.

nice and calm place”

Happy we discovered this calm and cute place. We spend few days there and it was excellent. Bedrooms are spacious and comfy. The staff is really kind and available. The only negative point would be the food. There is no kitchen there so you have to order from one of their partner and it's not excellent. But you can find several restaurants to go in town. I recommend !

Nice and relaxing...”

Lovely place to stay. 5 mins on a tricycle into main Alona beach area cost P100. Staff very helpful, especially Rose who was so cheery. Breakfast was ok. Pool and rooms clean. Would defo recommend...

Great Value for Money”

A more than adequate enough accommodation, but the welcoming nature of the staff is the one that really shines. The receptionist deserves a raise for her warm nature.

The stuff is really helpful. The lovely girl in frontdesk help us check out and call tutu in 5:00 am. I want say thank you. The hotel is clean and quiet. If you want a place far from noisy that is a perfact place.

Surprisingly prepossessing resort”

It was my last night in Bohol, stayed here and I made the right choice. The whole resort area isn't too wide but the whole concept was neat. The price was reasonable, room was clean and it was also peaceful. Not too far from nightlife area for those who are into that you can just rent a scooter/motorcycle to reach those areas. Some additional notes: The resort doesn't stretch its perimeter to the shore, though beaches aren't too far anyway. Could be a walking distance and just like in Dumaluan where there's an entrance fee of 25php. They don't have restaurant but they can offer you delivery meals which is pretty convenient if you prefer not to go out. Overall, I loved how my short stay in Bohol went.

Best Value Hotel in Panglao”

Very good. At first glance when I entered the premise I saw there was no water in the pool and they had said the tiles were leaking and it needed to be repaired. It sounded like a large fix and would not be done anytime soon. Initially, it was a deal breaker because I had read other reviews here saying the pool was very good. Aside from that, everything else was top notch for its prime location near all the other high end beach resorts. The landscaping is nice, quiet place with a zen style breakfast, very friendly staff, convenient restaurant right outside the entrance with above average menu. If you're staying for more than 1-2 nights then alternative food options are slim. They have free shuttle service a few times a day to both Dumaluan and Alona beach (launch point for dolphin watching tour). I had heard good things about Alona beach but had found it to be rather unclean and both beaches are really not swim-able but have nice views. The small childrens pool was sufficient for my young daughter, however with the pool out of commission it poses a danger, the young children cannot go unattended on the main premises because there is no protective barrier around the main pool. Wifi/cable worked well, rooms were spacious with large bathrooms with new toilets, hot water shower, fresh and clean tiling throughout.

Nicest place on our trip.”

It was just a lovely place to stay. Situated about a ten minute tricycle ride outside Alona Beach it was easy to get to but far enough out to be quiet. The rooms were lovely and clean with a flushing toilet, hot shower and area to store and hang out wet clothing. The AC was powerful and electronic- we had to keep this on very low as it is right above the bed! Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels as well as having a fridge in the room and a small mini-bar selection of soft drinks and nibbles which were very reasonably priced. Also the pool was cleaned daily (I witnessed this). The staff were really friendly and kind to us. The one thing that lets this place down is the breakfast- not fantastic with an attempt at a hot breakfast but it was cold most mornings. Also the day that we were leaving, we were vacating quite early in the morning and couldn't even have a cup of tea. But this really was the worst thing about the whole stay.

Too noisy”

We stayed for 2 nights, Room was ok. Aircon hard to readjust, heater in the shower was not readjustable and always on maximum heat it was way too warm. Worst was the noise, directly beside the street, old refrigerator and AC with lots of sound. And the Pool 1 meter infront of the room. Kids were in the pool 7AM and very noice, no chance on sleep anymore.

I enjoyed my stay here because the place is very nice. Quiet far from the beach where you have to ride a tricycle and pay 150 pesos to go to Alona or eat at the restaurants.

Awful service. Pay for everything!”

The staff were horrible and charged for absolutely every little thing. Want a spoon, pay pesos! Extra pillows, pay more. We couldn't believe it. One day we wanted to order pizza and were given a totally different menu than the day before with 30% added to all the prices! We complained and were told it was an 'accident'. They obviously did that to get extra money out of us. We absolutely did not feel like valued guests here. The pool was too warm to swim. More like a hot tub. The location is not walking distance to anything.

Experience was great until check out”

The staff that handled our check out was just a little too rude! Their other staff, Karen was great! She helped us all the way from check in, transfers, tour arrangements, food. Until we checked out, the other staff that handled was a bit rude and ruined the entire experience.

Simple yet worth it”

I went to Bohol for a wedding, and Chiisai was the nearest resort to the reception. I liked how it's along the highway, so if you need to catch a ride, it's easy to flag down a passing tricycle. Despite being beside the highway, the noise from it is minimal. It's a nice quiet oasis after spending a day out on the beach or exploring the town. Staff was very accommodating and I loved the familial set-up. The gates close at night but the night guard will open it for you. Comfortable sleeping space. Spacious bathroom. It's not beach front property, but after the busy days I had in Bohol, coming home to Chiisai really made my day. Thank you to the staff. Our stay was wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean and quite big. The pool is nice and they clean it regulary. They only serve brekfast, but you can buy drinks at the reception through all day. The resort is few kilometers from the Alona Beach, so a motorbike is a must if you want to get some food, nightlife or go to a bech. The staff is realy nice, they arranged us the transfer to the sea port. I would recomend this place.

Far from many basic amenities like convenient stores and restaurants”

From the map, this place seems near to the beaches where all the activities and restaurants are at. But in actual fact, it is a good 20 min walk away from the nearest beach. Room is also old and not clean. Please bring your own shampoo, body wash, toothbrush as they do not provide any. We thought that the bottled water in the room is complimentary but it is not. However, it is good that they do provide rental of scooters for commute and/or service to call tricycles/taxi to bring you around. Service is good here.

Beautiful resort”

Nice swimming pool, average rooms but beds not too comfy. Location is 20 minute walk from the beach. Staff were really helpful. We did really enjoy staying here. The layout of the complex is well thought out. Reception near the entrance. All room front doors facing the swimming pool. Could have done with a few sun loungers to sunbathe but none of the venues seem to have sun loungers. However I would recommend it because it was cheap £20 a night. There is also a go carting track around the corner. Its a 15 min bike ride from the beach where you go on a boat tour.

Wonderful stay”

The staff at Chiisai Natsu were so helpful and easy to communicate with. The breakfast was more than generous, the pool clean and refreshing and room spacious. A little far from Alona beach for some but I loved the serenity and peace of the location. Close to Yoga Barn and as far as I'm concerned the much better Dumaluan beach.

Not the best but not the worst”

this little hotel was not really as expected and kind of a let down. The room was very very basic the shower drain was blocked and filled like a pool and the room walls are thin so you here a lot and many people closing doors or should i say bang them closed was annoying in the mornings and at night. Breakfast was meant to be served to room in the morning but had to go find staff to get them to do it then second time they served it before we were even out of bed and we did not even know so we were not happy with staff performance here so will not recommend this place.
