Paradise ”
We stayed in a bungalow for 6 nights with our 3 kids. This place is pure perfection. The owners, Robbie and his sister, are amazing and so is their staff; very nice, caring, helpful people, The property and the bungalow are beautiful, clean, and we felt like at home there. Good mosquito nets in the bungalow even though we didn’t need them. There are plenty of books and games (board games, kite, snorkeling and fishing equipment) to keep you busy and it you just want to relax, the beach is Beautiful. Most days it was amazing, clear water, but 2-4 days the waves were a bit bigger (though not big enough to keep us from swimming) and brought some plastic bottles to the beach. Robbie also organized boat trips to go snorkeling and see other par of Koh Rong (10$us for adults) as well as activities onsite (bbq nights, luminescent plankton -in the evening, a few meters from the property- fire show, ...). We loved everything about this place. The food is also very good at the restaurant!

An amazing relaxing place”
We planned to stay 3 nights but extended it for 5. We stayed in a very comfortable tent at the side of the sea. The tent had clean bedding towels and a very thick mattress. We ate every day in the restaurant, you can find lots of books to read and games to play. Robbie and Mia are the nicest and most helpful people you can meet. Every other night there is a large camp fire, music is played but if you are so inclined there is also a guitar,Bangor and a Tom Tom drum. We traveled here by Cambodia fast ferry, I would not recommend this company as they drop you at another port then it’s a bus ride, you are then dropped of close to the beach and have to walk. There are other companies that drop you directly at the pier on coconut beach. The toilets are clean and there is toothbrush, soap,body wash and paper all available. There is a shop on the island and the prices are the same as the mainland. We are very sad to leave this island but we will definitely be back. Thanks for a fab time

Charming place”
Staying at Coconutbeach Bungalows was the highlight of my trip. The beaches are generally clean. Food is delicious. Plankton experience was sublime. Rooms are rustic but tidy. The entire complex is well-lit at night. I never had to wait for the shared bathrooms. However, the staff and owners differentiated themselves from others through their relentless effort to go above and beyond for their guests. As a Vegan, the lady in the restaurant always accommodated me by ensuring my dishes were meat-free. She made an effort to ask if everything was OK. The owner and his sister are beautiful people who go all out to ensure that their guests are happy. Professional in hospitality would be an understatement. They are salt-of-the-earth people who want to you invite you to their homes and show you their culture and beaches. 5-stars across the board.

The food was good, the accommodation was excellent, we were in a tent on the beach. Ablutions are spotless all the time. They offer a lot of free add ons that one has to hire to use at other places, like snorkeling equipment, fishing rods with bait, Chinese lanterns to fly at night, & a huge bonfire & poi every night right there on the beach. If you catch fish they will cook it for you too. They also have a great library where you can borrow books to read, or swap out what you've finished reading for a other book. Excellent range of books too!! Just not recommended for anyone that's not fit, because there are 54 stairs to the restaurant & bar, & quite a lot of stairs to the bungalows. But for me & my friend, it was absolutely perfect. We'll definately be back there again.

Paradise ”
We loved sleeping in a tent and hearing the waves every night. The mattresses in those tents are very comfortable and we kept extending our stay.. first 3 nights, then 2 more and another 2 nights. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was yummy and reasonably priced. There is a library in the restaurant and there are lots of good books to choose from. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to switch off and relax.

THE place to stay in Koh Rong! ”
We had been switching between several different hostels and hotels on Koh Rong before we came across this one, and man was it a different world. You stay in a tent but it truly feels like a bungalow as it is elevated from the ground and roomy with a supercomfy bed. It's located on a secluded part of the island with an amaxing beach and super calm vibe. The restaurant in the hostel is very reasonably priced, and has the BEST bread we have had all trip. Ordered just plain bread and butter all the time as it was so good and freshly baked. The staff are also super attentive, always asking if they could help and looking to go the extra mile. They even sewed up a hole in our mosquito-net before we had the chamce to let them know about it. You will be secluded from the main part of Koh Toch, but if you are looking to get away for an island paradise this is it!

LOVELY! ”
+This place is amazing! Absolutely wonderful family that owns and works there--they are so helpful in every way and are well organized. Delicious food at the restaurant! Our favorite was the Kiwi breakfast. The tents are a great deal! Very clean place, great for all sorts of travelers, young & old, family & friends. Good amount of chill vibes.

Really improved our stay! ”
My partner and I didn’t have the greatest time in Koh Rong, getting sick on our second day of a four night stay. But the lady who runs coconut beach bungalows went above and beyond to make sure we were well and recovering. She helped us reschedule buses and accommodation we had booked because we had to stay an extra day, and provided us with 110% hospitality which we were so grateful for. Although travelling in low season means a lot of rain, staying in the bungalows is a beautiful way to have some down time and there are plenty of books and games to keep you occupied in the main area. Can only imagine how fantastic this place is during the high season! They have plenty to take advantage of (for no extra charge) when the weather allows for it :) Highly recommend and would stay again!

Amazing Family trip”
Words can't describe how much fun/relaxation I had in this amazing hostel. I was so lucky to land on this beach. Me and my family had a great time we decided to stay 8 days here and are sad we could not be here much longer. The price is amazing the food was so affordable and good! The family who work here are so kind and hard working. I see them working basically 24/7. I was so impressed by them and sad to say good bye. My mom who never travels also really loved this place. This is not a party loud place so if you come here please don't make too much noise and chill out. Thank you so much!!! - CLAY

Wonderful place on a calm and beautiful beach”
Robby and Pia run a wonderful facility where the staff are always friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your vacation. We stayed here almost an entire week and wish we could've stayed longer. Robby is always planning fun things for his guests such as flying lanterns, fire preformers, calm live music, bonfires, glowing plankton, snorkeling and beach games. There are hammocks all around to relax in the shade I you need a break from the beach. They also have a restaurant that offers everything you need. We are very grateful for the relaxing ambiance of coconut bungalows, thank you!

A hidden gem!! ”
Our stay on Koh Rong was made absolutely unforgettable! To this day, we still talk about how "Coconut" was the best beach we were to in SE Asia, largely due to the amazing Bungalows. They are accessible by local taxi in 30mins, and I recommend asking around if anyone else is going there to get a better price. The owners are some of the most adorable and honest people I've met (they remember everyone's names!). They organise boat tours and cook really well for very cheap. I would tell you to book it without hesitation! (and for the beach alone it is worth it)

Great place to stay, isolated beach”
Had a great time at Coconutbeach Bungalows. It's set a bit away from the restaurants (though there is a restaurant on site) and bars, so be sure that's what you want on your vacation. It does sit right on the beach though and has lovely views. You can rent a moto for the day and travel anywhere you want to on the island. Robbie and his family run the place and they are hustling nonstop all day and all night to ensure that guests have what they need as well as entertainment at night. 10/10 recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We booked for one night and stayed for 8 days. We stayed in the bungalow and tent - both are clean, really comfortable bed and friendly staff. We would recommend 100%. The staff are really helpful, chilled, very nicer relaxed vibe.

The best place w/ the sweetest family!”
This quiet little bungalow place is located on a very secluded and absolutely breathtaking beach in Koh Rong. The family who runs the place go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying yourself. They also make the most delicious and cheap food!! 100/10 going back as soon as I can!

We had a great stay at coconut beach bungalows. The cabin we had was great: clean, enough space and great ocean view. Snorkel masks and fishing poles are free to use and food is good and decently priced. Would highly recommend!

Coconut Bungalows ”
The place is set back in the jungle over looking a white sand beach and clear water. I stayed in the fan bungalows with it’s own bathroom for a week. With the fan on I never felt hot. At night it’s very quite, all you hear is the sounds of the jungle and the waves. The family who runs the property is extremely nice and fluent in English. The food in the restaurant was good. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Coconut Beach bungalows for 6 nights. Robbie and his sister are incredible hosts. Very attentive and super helpful, they really make the experience amazing. The location of the restaurant is great, the beach is quiet and beautiful, I would stay here again for sure.

Cosy bungalows in Paradise ”
Exceptional location on a hillside up one end of coconut beach. The views from the bungalows are exactly what we had hoped - views of the sea which made the attached balcony area a perfect place to chill when not on the beach. The restaurant-bar has some of the best views on coconut beach and serves reasonably priced food and drink all day. Staff are extremely knowledgable and helpful and often recommending things you may not have known, such as what time to see the Plankton at night and the best place to see the sunset etc. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room came with a fan, a mosquito net in good condition and plenty of toiletries. The cabins are set amongst the trees and as such feel very private, cosy and give a good aesthetic. However, understand that this also means you are essentially sharing with the other wildlife in the area. We had a pair of huge 10-12inch long Tokay lizards in the room which were quite noisy at night - but that can't be helped.
