I like this Japanese Hotel Chain”

Location is close to the metro station but the two closest exits to the hotel don’t have elevators/escalators. Either look for that exit with the elevator/escalator or be prepared to carry your luggage all the way up 5 flights of stairs. But with that aside, this branch seems like a combination of the regular Dormy Inn hotel and their capsule hotel, Global Cabin. I got the private capsule in the women’s section. Like most Japanese hotels, they provide the common necessities: bath/face towels, pjs, and bathing/hygienic supplies so there is no need to bring those necessities. They also serve a free bowl of ramen starting at 9:30pm to 11pm. Free flowing coffee is available every time at the lobby or the restaurant. Their onsen was wonderful. It’s located at the same floor as the restaurant. Breakfast was not included in my deal but I availed it at the hotel.

Pros Hotel very clean. Breakfast had a good selection. Free ramen at night. Onsen was nice addition. Close to the Tokyo dome and a couple of subway stations. Cons If not going to the Tokyo dome a little out of the way.

Great hotel”

A small but very clean room. Nice hotel breakfast and way above my expectation for business hotel breakfast. Hotel is a bit far from the popular tourist spots, but still can be reached within 30 min by public transportations. Subway station lacks elevator so carry heavy luggage could be difficult.

An upgrade from capsule hotel”

while it is still far from having a standard hotel room, It represents a better compromise than going to a capsule hotel. The doors do not lock and are made out of some thick fabric, so you can hear your neighbors. You have to leave the place by 10am, even if you stay several days. You can leave your luggage in the cabin though, and a locker is provided for free. The spa though is fantastic and having the ability to stop by the sauna and hot bath after a long day of walking is very much appreciated. The location is just across the station which is also very convenient. Note that I don't think the staff spoke English, but they have some English flyer on how to use the facility.

The location was nearby the hotel. I took 2 minutes to reach the hotel from the subway station. They have been providing a spa and onsen and Japanese noodle to the customer. The facility and location and service are all good.

Good Hotel in Tokyo, near Tokyo Dome and Korakuen. Can access by both Subway(Tokyo metro and Toei) Have mini-mart "Lawson" on 1st floor The Best Hottub on B1. However I think the Breakfast is expensive (1,500y).

Really happy with the room size. The split design of the sink and bathroom works well. The spa was great and breakfast buffet was reasonable for the price. The surrounding area has great restaurants and parks too.

Good Hotel for Backpacker ”

The Dormy Inn Korakuen Hot Springs is good idea for backpacker. The price is cheap. The environment is comfortable. The Service is good. The location is excellent. The price is around $5K yen/ night, provide the noodle at night. The hotel include the hot spring facility . The staff is very nice, I can store my luggage and take a rest before check-in. 5 mins walk between the hotel and the subway station .

We booked the hotel a little bit last minute but the price was good for us + it was really comfortable! It was clean, staff were nice and there's even a spa if you wanna really after a good day of walk in the city. Thanks Dormy Inn!

Great stay! Near subway entrance”

Easy to find, took subway to kasuga and exit 6 to access lift due to heavy luggage. Then nearest exit A2 when you need to take subway. 7mins walk to donki and toyko dome where there’s food and entertainment rides. Need to give thumbs up for the super clean environment for my inn provided!

A pleasant stay in Dormy Inn”

I was travelling with my family. We had 2 nights stay in this hotel. Easy access by Metro Train and we get off at Kasuga station. We requested to store our luggage prior to our check-in date as we travel to Fuji-Hakone for 3 days. They accepted my request and there is no additional charges impose to us during our check-out. My children age 15 & 13 had a wonderful time as they enter to the LaQua Theme Park which is a walking distance from this hotel. Highly recommend to stay in this hotel.

Superb facility at a less convenient spot”

The hotel is very new, clean and comfortable. I stayed at the spacious, quiet and almost luxurious capsule and enjoyed the privacy a lot. The free night noodle and washing machines (with coin-operated dryers) were lifesavers. Hot bath was very comfortable and changing room was well equipped and very spacious. Good selection of delicious food at breakfast, albeit a bit expensive. The only downside was the location: it’s near two metro stations, but they are not the most convenient ones if you frequent places on the Yamate line.

I would rate it 10/10 for value for money and everything in between. I would definitely try the other branches the next time i visit.

Amazing staff, hotspring, breakfast and location”

Staff speak reasonably good English when I checked in. This is the third Dormy Inn and while the previous one was very good, this is even better! The buffet breakfast has a great range of healthy salads and grilled fish as well as cooked veg. There are also sweets such as cold custard (‘pudding’) and a range of fresh fruit. Love their Japanese curry and braised chicken cubes and mixed grain rice. Best of all is the Manager whose was so kind to help me telephone a shop which seemed not to have received my online purchase order . The Manager’s English was superb; I appreciate the care and time he took to help me resolve issues of delivery of my online purchase. I would book this branch of Dormy Inn again, given it’s amazing service quality, breakfast and the location.

Close to Tokyo Dome but at least 30 minutes from other major attractions”

The staff was nice and very helpful. I enjoyed the daily breakfast. It was delicious. I also enjoyed the daily bath and sauna. I wished they had a "rotenburo". outside bath. Oh well. The only drawback was if one does a lot of shopping, the Kasuga/Korakuen train station has so many stairs. With heavy bags, it's a real challenge.
