Very good option for tourists”
The hotel price in Amsterdam is going nuts but this hotel just finds itself in a relatively quiet corner in the city next to the wonderful central park. The stuff of the hotel are super friendly warm and hospitality. I was told a lot of suggestion on how to experience the city in a local way :). Rooms are a bit old but clean, breakfast are nice, with many options as well. Will definitely choose again next time.

Our room had a water leak and we were immediately transferred to the sister hotel Magnolia, which is around the corner. Staff in both hotels were friendly. Both hotels are close to the tram station. Tram No 2 takes you past many museums, the palace, flea - and flower markets to Amsterdam Centraal. You find many restaurants close by the hotel. For us the location was perfect.

Well situated hotel with super staff”
Nice little place in quiet area close to a few nice bars and restaurants. Easy walking distance to museums and various trams, the bus from the airport and the Metro. Every reason to stay there again. Special shout for Rekha on the front desk who was very kind to our little boy.

Lovely helpful staff. Our rooms were nice the shower was very hot and powerful. Avoid the basement room, we heard someone complain about it. Our rooms were fine the beds were very large and comfortable.

Good hotel in a good location. Very close to the Van Gogh and other museums (in the museumplein and Vondelpark area). Not far from the central area of town, medieval center, if you don't mind a 20- to 30-minute lovely city walk. We did not try their breakfast, which at 12 euros may be expensive for some travelers, but not really expensive for Amsterdam. Also, Vondelpark is a really nice park. We had a room on the bottom floor, below the front desk area. Probably not the best, but worked out ok. The tub courtain is way too long. An important issue is that the room safe still has the factory default code enabled, which, of course, should have been changed by management. I wanted to use it but did not due to this issue. I stayed at two hotels in Europe in this trip, this one, and Teatro B&B in Lisbon. Both had this same issue regarding default codes. Hope all hotels address this problem soon.

We were there for two nights, the rooms are really small, but is okey if you are not going to spend too much time in the hotel. We didn’t take the breakfast because it was so expensive. The location was perfect and the neighborhood is really quiet. The hotel is too expensive but everything in the city is like that. So about price and location it is worthy. The staff is really friendly.

Ok-ish but I will NOT return here. ”
-The room is small(as in description), the area is really quiet and beautiful(near to a park) and the staff very kind and nice. We didint took breakfast but smelled really good in the morning. - The walls are really thin and you can hear any conversations especially in the night when is quiet. - The heater in the room was working only 50%. On our first day we kept the winter clothes on us until was warmer in the room. -In the bathroom it was very cold like we were having the toilet in the garden, as in some countrysides. We had a heater but didint work at all. Also the shower was separated by the toilet only with a cheap curtain and when we were taking a shower all the water ran in the bathroom. Fortunately the water was really hot.

Overpriced”
Luckily we had a good deal on the privé but the normal rate is heavily overpriced: Tiny room and very small smelly bathroom with only very few toiletries.

Best nights' sleep in years!”
Classic business trip: arrived late and left straight after breakfast. In between however I had the best nights' sleep in years. The decoration in my room was a bit shabby, chipped paint around the doors, etc but the facilities worked well and lovely bed and pillows with clean sheets. The breakfast buffet was on the basic side but had everything I needed and set me up for the day. Location was chosen as it was near where I needed to go and I would stay here again. Thanks.

cozy and home-style hotel in calm location near Vondelpark”
The Hotel Atlas Vondelpark is in a residential street only a few meters from Vondelpark. The hotel is within walking distance of most tourist attractions, and access to public transportation is easy and convenient. The coffee and dessert shop across the street, by the way, is very good! Although our standard room in an extremely well-kept house was a bit compact in size, we were very pleased with it because it included everything we could have needed - flat-screen TV with multiple international channels, comfortable bed and pillows, closet with safety-deposit box, free WIFI, complimentary coffee and tea (as well as fruit), and a nice sitting area with period furniture. We also appreciated the bathroom amenities. Interior details are tasteful and reflect attention to detail. All staff members with whom we interacted were charming and happy to help in a friendly manner. In short, we were very satisfied with our stay and already look forward to making plans to return in the future!

Picturesque hotel in a quiet neighborhood with comfortable rooms, friendly, helpful, attentive staff, decent amenities and a great location close to the Tram, museums and Vondelpark with many things within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again (except in the summer months since there is no air conditioning). Great value for your money. Enjoyed my stay very much with no complaints to register. You should consider this hotel for your stay in Amsterdam.

I really liked the neighbourhood. It was a small old bedroom though. Staff were really nice and the location was good as well. Very close to Vondelpark and you can all walk to the museum area.

Historic experience”
Great location in a historic building. Nicely appointed for being an old town house. Our room was small, but cute and a nice experience for one night. Hotel offerings are generous (free coffee/tea, fruit and mini wine bottle in the room plus nespresso drinks in the lobby). We didn't do the breakfast buffet (€11), but would if we stayed again. The hotel staff was much nicer and friendlier than at any of the restaurant staff we encountered. If you're looking for something different, with character and charm, this is the place!
