Great location and clean hotel. It’s literally outside of Kyoto train station. I would recommend this budget friendly hotel. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I made reservations for 2 adults and 3 kids and they only provided 3 towels. We made due but it was annoying. Other than that everything was better than I expected. Our kids are 7 years of age and younger. We would stay there again. You can’t beat the price.

Location good, breakfast lacking”
It is a nice roomy hotel in a convenient location. We were disappointed in the breakfast as the pictures showed a variety of fresh food choices but there were only 2-3 pre-made, pre-packaged sandwiches, a couple salad choices and konyaku. Do not add breakfast to your room package.

This hotel is located right across the Kyoto station and the staff helped us park our luggage before and after our check-in, which saved us a lot of trouble. It could be pretty crowded during breakfast time so you might want to arrange your day accordingly if you want to enjoy your breakfast before you head out for the day
