Old hotel”

10-15mins walking distance to atami station. Luckily there’s a free bus shuttle from the hotel. But the hotel room looks old. It has buffet breakfast japaness and western, but we are so disappointed tht their worker didn’t inform us there’s western corner which we only saw it when we are leaving. It’s at a separate corner which I think no one notice tht corner.

Excellent service and nice room view for sun rise”

Service is excellent! Speak moderate English. The room is super spacious and all room consists sea view. Love their breakfast as it’s jap style with varieties. Provide free shuttle from Atami Station thru and flow.

Spa and breakfast is good ”

Hotel room is quite old but it is tidy and clean. The spa room has two tubs and one of them has massage function. Breakfast is delicious and provides a wide variety of choices. Front desk staff is nice and helpful.

Great Hotel with Hot Spring Bath”

I had a single, non-smoking Western/Japanese style room with a great view of Sagami Bay. The room had a spacious living area and comfortable bed. The bathroom, while small, was well appointed and the shower had good water pressure. I enjoyed the onsen, 5 in 3 days, especially after a long walk at Jogasaki Kaigan. There were many choices for breakfast and the evening meal dishes was superbly presented, many pre-prepared which explains the reason booking is essential. The staff were polite and helpful. I was pleased to use the hotel shuttle bus because one wet evening none of the four taxi drivers on the rank at the station I approached claimed they knew the location of the Resporia Hotel.

Nice location and view”

The hotel stuff has limited English but ok to communicate. Hotel is a little bit old but cozy. The hot spring spa is big and has good view of the sea. Both men and women spa are need walk downstairs from the entrance, a little bit inconvenient. Sea view is spuerb. Shuttle service to the train station is good in operating hour.

Average hotel but very good ocean views”

All rooms have an ocean view which is great. The front desk is on 1st floor but main entrance is on 8th floor which can be a little inconvenient. I gave a low rating for staff but generally they were good. The reason for the low rating is because of one staff member in the public bath: I've lived in Japan over 11 years and I speak Japanese. I also have tattoos. The bath staff saw me getting changed after my bath and said (in Japanese) I couldn't enter the bath again, because of my tattoos. I said 'OK' in Japanese but he remained there, looking at me. I asked him what the problem was, and again he told me I wasn't allowed in the bath. I told him that I already understood. I felt uncomfortable because he was just looking at me and repeating the same thing, despite my telling him repeatedly that I understood. I was polite and spoke in 100% Japanese, yet he just repeated the same thing again and again and again. It was very embarrassing. In such situations, the staff should wait until the customer is wearing clothes and speak to them quietly and privately. It is very embarrassing.

Atami's Resorpia”

The Resorpia is a refuge from all cares and worries. The spa with natural hot springs seems to be the perfect cure for both mind and body. Breakfast, including the best of both East and West,is copious and delicious served with care by a friendly staff. After staying two weeks, I kept canceling my return airfare in order to stay longer. Staff makes you feel like family, even bringing you free coffee if you return from a day outdoors looking tired. You always feel as if you are at home except that you are waited on hand and foot and constantly pampered. Ocean in front, beautiful trees at back, wonderful food. Oh my! can't wait to go back. Oh yes; lots to see nearby- castles, museums, islands, ships and wildlife.

Bath at onsen, public hot spring bath, have a nice dinner at hotel restaurant. Quality food and service but not expensive dinner was an extra goodies the hotel has.

Short and Sweet”

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Resporia Atami. 2 nights would have been better to explore the town and area. As it was we checked in at dinner time and on the first shuttle bus in the morning due to a tight schedule. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of extra bedding for the kids. A full ocean view. The hot baths in the 5 th floor were superb . The hotel was a bit of a walk to town so eating options were limited to a fairly expensive restaurant . I'm sure the meals are lovely, but too pricey for our family budget. Breakfast was mostly Japanese with many choices and it was delicious . All in all a good hotel. Give it more than one night to explore the area.
